I have been meaning to try this place for quite some time now, unfortunately today I was one Unlucky Guy to step into this restaurant and buy their overpriced, disgusting food. I payed ~$15.00 for a Cheeseburger Special & a Thousand Island dressing, I know times are tough for all of us, but for this price i expected good food. To start off; -the burger was soo dry that the lettuce was the only thing with any flavor. I'd have a better time eating cardboard at this point. -the fries were dehydrated (not crunchy or soft) they tasted like if they were microwaved. -the soda came in a very small cup, 2 sips and the soda is gone. Now the Thousand Island was the worst of all, it had an overwhelming taste of spoiled milk mixed with other ingredients. Completely disgusting! I'm sure they are trying to cut every corner that they can, and at a price value of ~$15.00 for a Cheeseburger Special, they are out of their minds with this very underwhelming and disgusting food. The worst service ever. I order through the drive-in the lady who took my order didn't understand English nor Spanish because I got the wrong order and I paid extra for guacamole. I went to get a basic eggs and bacon and toast breakfast, and I asked for a minimum of hashbrowns, which I was given a half a plate of hashbrowns, and I asked for toast with butter And they gave me the toast that was not even toasted and you would think they'd give you more bacon, but they only gave you two slices of bacon and the price was ridiculous. I only come here for one thing: the mixed breakfast burrito. I can't speak for anything else on the menu because I've only come for their breakfast burritos. My dad used to work at the Kaiser right next to there, so occasionally he would bring my brother and me a burrito with their spicy green salsa. Although I do remember the burritos being a bigger (or maybe I'm just bigger), I still come here for breakfast burritos when I'm in the area. So the mixed breakfast burrito comes with 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausages, eggs, potatoes, beans, and cheese (I don't get the suicide burrito because I don't really care for the ham). The burritos always come piping hot, and if you eat at the restaurant, they'll give you some chips on the side that you can eat with some salsa. I personally love the green salsa here, so I always drown my burritos with it, and bring some home to eat with some chips. So if you're in the Downey area and looking for a quick breakfast spot, you should try the mixed breakfast burrito with their green salsa. read more

First time being here. We stopped cause we were looking for a place to eat. We came in and the cashier didn't even greet us. We we were looking at the menu and my mom need to go to the bathroom. We called in an order this morning for a Carnitas Torta and a Chorizo Burrito. My Torta was delicious! Carnitas were tender and seasoned well, large chunks of avocado, crispy lettuce, tomatoes and pinto beans. Yummy!! I didn't hear a peep from my husband while he ate his Chorizo Burrito. I've only ever ordered through the drive thru mostly because the one time I ate inside it was hot like any other local Hispanic burger joint and I'd rather buy my food through the drive thru and take it home or to work to eat it in an air conditioned room. The food is good but bad. It's tasty but probably at the cost of so much fat and grease. Breakfast burritos are good but the ratio is lacking in egg. Their fries are limp and uncrunchy. Fries are supposed to be crisp and shouldn't bend. My stomach hates me when I eat their fries because I get heartburn whenever I do and that never happens with any other fries. I love fries and will eat any fry that you throw at me but these fries are just weird. They have a weird taste and maybe it's from the oil that they fry them in but it's something you have to get over if you're going to continue eating them. Tuna sandwich has a thick layer of mayonnaise that was a bit much but can be fixed by asking for it on the side or none at all. Their sauce containers are flimsy. I ordered salsa on the side when I got a breakfast burrito and I don't know how it happened but the salsa lid opened and spilled in the bag. Salsa is good and spicy but I wish it wasn't such a mess to order it outside of the burrito in a separate sauce container because I wouldn't be able to handle it if it was already inside the burrito. It's spicy. They serve breakfast all day and any place that serves breakfast all day will always have me coming back even if I'm well aware that it's a bad idea. read more

This restaurant was not too bad. My boyfriend and I ordered a bacon avocado cheeseburger and chili cheese fries as well as two medium cokes. The person at the drive-through seemed like she was in a rush she didn't really give us a lot of time to look over the menu, that was our first time at the restaurant. With his new Covid restrictions we also noticed that some of the employees were wearing gloves and others were not. And then did bring a concern to me but the person who is handling our order was wearing gloves the entire time. Another woman attended us at the drive-through after we had placed our order and she was kind enough to hand us the menu and was also kind enough to answer our questions about a 3 foot burrito that they also sell there and we were curious about. After we receive our food we drove to our parking spot and we ate in the car. The fries were super hot but the chili lacked a little flavor. As far as the burger it was good. The lettuce was fresh and crispy, the patty was well seasoned and the Sauce was also good. I requested no pickles and they included pickles. The avocado was a little brown and I did find the avocado stem in my last bite of the burger which was a little weird. Would I come back? probably not. read more

She told me my total was $8.96 so I gave her $9 then she turns around to tell me it's $9.96. Have worked around and eaten at this place since around 2002/3. Went there today and was in the drive thru, totally undecided (they have a large menu). I blurted out "pastrami" even though I was not really in the mood for a pastrami. Got back to work, sat at my desk, and proceeded to inhale this thing. Extremely well cooked and tender and most of all, not greasy. Perfect amount of mustard and pickles. Extra bonus points for the fact that other places (even high end places ) are slipping in quality because of Coronavirus. But this sandwich just made my day! read more

Staff is extremely friendly. I got the Taco Special which is 4 street tacos and a drink. The tacos were packed with carne asada. They definitely don't skimp on the portions. The meat had good flavor and there was some crunch to some of the pieces, which I really like. read more

We have been coming here for years; even had them cater my kid's graduation; however, apparently they have lowered their customer service standards to such a degree that they no longer have people working at the drive up window with an ounce of politeness or humbleness. i visited 10-31-22 in the AM and ordered 2 breakfast burritos, i asked for extra green sauce (which I have always done) and was told OK by the young lady working the window. When i received my receipt, I saw a $1 charge for "misc", which I spent the next couple minutes trying to get her attention while I was at the window and she was not paying attention (restaurant was NOT busy); once she paid attention, I asked her what the charge was for, and she said it was for the extra green sauce? I told her that is new, and she probably should have said something before adding the charge. She just turned around and walked towards the kitchen. I said asked if she heard me, and she ignored me further. The cook heard me and was listening, so i just said, Thank You, hope you have a great day, and she continued to ignore. pretty sure a simple i'm sorry or some sort of acknowledgement it could have been handled better would have sufficed. needless to say, with the continuing amount of price increases, along with the drive up window girl not having an ounce of customer service, we will no longer eat at this establishment, which is sad because the ladies that used to work at the drive up window were always pleasant and thoughtful.
