April is the best. I only want her touching my nails. I have a test when I go to a new nail tech - my middle fingers are crooked. If the nail tech tries to put the nail straight up I never go to them again even if they fix it. If they follow how my nail grows without me telling them, I know they know what they're doing. Needless to say I didn't have to tell April how to correctly apply the nail. They're way less expensive than my previous salon, and they do just as good a job if not better. I would never have complained about something like this, especially for only a couple of dollars, but this place is a typical example of Bad, bad, bad scammers! I stopped by to get a toe color change. The price on their board says $13, but the older lady wanted to charge $17!!! I told her that the price on the board said $13, and then she said, "ok, $15" because of the taxes. Wtf! 2 dollars in taxes! I had a very disrespectful and unprofessional experience at this salon, and I do not recommend anyone go here. I called ahead to make sure walk-ins were welcome, and when I arrived, the tech was friendly at first. However, the salon itself was messy, unorganized, and not clean. Supplies were scattered and shoved everywhere, which was the first red flag. When she began working on my nails, she filed them unevenly and hit the nerves in my nail beds, which was very painful. She then started applying tips, but none of them fit correctly -- they were all just dumped together in a bin with no organization. I politely asked if we could find better fitting sizes, but she insisted she would just file them down. I expressed concerns about the tips being lifted and bacteria growing underneath, but she refused to adjust them. She used excessive glue that spilled all over my fingers, never cleaned or prepped my natural nails beforehand, and hacked at the tips with dirty scissors when I asked for a stiletto shape. When she placed one hand under the lamp, it burned painfully, and the tips still weren't applied properly. They were crooked, lifted, and already coming off. At that point, I asked her to remove them. Instead of doing so safely, she tried to cut them again and then pulled out a dirty bowl of acetone, telling me to soak my hands. I refused and removed them myself since the glue wasn't dry yet. That's when she got an attitude, told me to "go to the other lady" because she didn't know what I wanted and that I was being difficult. I declined and left. I went straight to Anthony Vince Nail Spa, who kindly fit me in last-minute and fixed everything she had done. The difference in professionalism was night and day. This salon showed zero care, sanitation, or respect for customers. I rarely leave reviews, but I don't want anyone else to waste their time, money, or risk infection here. read more

A Hispanic girl (Berta) provided excellent service and did a fantastic job. However, when it was my turn to pay, an older woman named Linda was very rude. She started acting disrespectfully. She wanted to do my nails, but she refused because I had a problem with my feet, and my English isn't very good. So I told the Hispanic girl I could stay with her for my pedicure, and Linda got upset and started talking to other customers there. (I understood what she was saying about me, even with my limited English.) Anyway, that was my experience at this place! Went in for a gel manicure and it's the worst I've ever had. The shape of my nails is appalling. Parts of my nail beds are exposed and painful. The shapes of my nails are all uneven. They don't even put any lotion on your hands, they're just trying to get you out as quickly as they can. When you're choosing gel color they don't have the sample nails to look at, only the bottles, so it's difficult to accurately pick a color. Will never come back here. read more

Walked in to see if they were doing walk ins at 5p during the week and was sent to some guy. He was sweet but I felt rushed to leave when he finished. As they started closing the spa early and walked me out I didn't even really get a food look at them . My nails are a mess. Uneven. Nail polish is all on my fingers and missing nail spots. The service and quality is horrible. I spent a little over $150. My French manicure looked horrible. However, I did complain that day but the young kid that did my nails had nothing to say but blame it on me for my nails being crooked. Like really!! So I pay and call I get the infamous "come back tomorrow, and we fix". So I go back next day and wait another hour, and then again "come back to tomorrow". Don't come here, hygiene is bad and they will try to take advantage and scam you. Came in for powder dip advertised for $35 I showed her a picture of the color she said ombre and proceeded to do with nails. Barely even files my nails tells me to wash my hands in a dirty sink covered in dust. No lotion, massage, nothing.The chairs are peeling and the whole place smells like cigarettes. At the end she tells me the total is $58 because she used 2 colors for the ombre. The picture I showed her did not even include 2 colors she just wanted the extra money and didn't disclose ombre is double the price. I pay just to get out of there quickly. My friend leaves with her cuticles bleeding and they double taxed her because they included the tax in the price then taxed that price! We've had a regular, monthly appointments, for years and had a great experience until recently. Due to staffing issues, they couldn't fit four in for a pedicure so we staggered the appointments with two of us going at 430pm and two at 530pm. Then they started taking walk-ins right before our appointment so we had to wait - for 45 mins!!! And this has happened more than once. Not acceptable when we are regular customers and tip well. This was my second visit at this salon, must say it was a better experience than last time. I went in for a manicure & pedicure. Kim took her time with the pedicure and took really good care of me. I didn't feel rushed this time. When it was time for manicure, she went straight to doing the nails instead of giving the massage (usually I've always gotten a little massage, exfoliation, and warm towel at other places). My nails came out okay... not great. Prices are very reasonable. I'd suggest making an appointment so avoid waiting. I will give this place one more try. I spent 2 hours getting my nails done!! Nothing grand, just a normal dip powder that I normally get elsewhere. Do not get it done here, not experienced at all. Took me a long time to get my nails long, finally got there, and they were destroyed:(:( Never had a drill used for dip powder except at the end for shaping the top. My natural nails were filed on top with a fast drill, and many broke due to being so thin! After 2 hours, the drill came out again and used as if I had acrylics to "clean" the underneath. You don't drill under with natural nails!! I am going to have to start all over, very disappointed:(:( On top of the damage, cuticles bleeding, and the 2 hours... he was watching a movie on his phone the entire time!!!! Pleasantly surprised! Nicky did a great job on my manicure and pedicure I am someone that must have my whole finger nail painted. I don't like it when the sides and the top of my nails are left a little unpainted (like my nail was growing out). Nicky painted them perfectly and I didn't even have to ask or call it out. This is a first for me and I've gone to these practically 5star, 37+ review places and left feeling like eh, I paid over $55+ for this For precaution, when you come in they take your temperature and have you sign in (tracking visits). They also cover the foot basin with a protective cover and when done, she gave me a visit card as well as a small package that had a few of the tools she used on me (this way, so I can bring this with me when I come back to save a $1 or so). When I left and looked closely, I saw the nail polish on my fingers had bubbles all in them, and the shape of one that they had replaced was totally different than the rest of the nails. The nail polish was splotchy and streaky looking. The pedicure came out decent but it was a different lady than the one who did my nails. I went back the next day, she only fixed 3 of the nails even though just about all of them were messed up. When I asked her to fix the one that was a different shape, she filed down the sides and left it. Didn't repaint what she had taken off or anything. She also left nail polish all around the nails on my actual fingers. The same thing happened to my co-worker with the bubbles on her nails. I will never be returning here. read more

I am writing this to show how frustrated I am with their service. I had been to the salon for manicure&pedicure. The gel nails that I had on my hands is changing color from deep pink to yellow. When I approached them, the lady who attended on me said, "I don't remember her", as she serviced me only the previous evening. The person at the desk rubbed salt on my injury stating that " I picked a color that changes colors". I tried this Nail Salon a few weeks ago and was disappointed. When I walked in I noticed there were still Christmas Decorations up, the interior seemed overall dusty and unclean. I was directed to look the the nail polish selection and all of the nail polish bottles were covered in specks of nail polish and overall had an unclean look about them. The bottles were also not organized with any rhyme or reason, colors and brands were all mixed together. The lightest color pink they had was a bubblegum shade. There were no neutral colors to choose from which was disappointing as well. The girl who serviced my nails was very friendly and easy to talk to, but she rushed through my entire manicure. She was going so fast that she even poked me hard with cuticle scissors. I was scared that it cut me, especially because I didn't see her take the tools out of any cleaner, autoclave, or packaging. She was very apologetic but it was still off putting. I'm assuming she was rushing because after I sat down another girl came in looking for a pedicure, the nail tech sat her down in a pedicure chair and had her soak her feet for my entire manicure. I felt bad that she did not even tell the girl that it would be a wait. Not only was it dirty and rushed, the polish job was poor. Spots were missed and nails were not filed evenly. The techs were nice and the prices are insanely cheap, but I will not be back. read more

I've not had my fingers done here but I've had many pedicures and have always been satisfied. It's inexpensive and very thorough including exfoliation and a calf and foot massage - bliss, and a long-lasting polish. A lot of bang for the buck. Everyone is friendly, and I would like to give 5 stars but the loud conversations between employees and on cell phones in their native language borders on offensive and rude. This place needs to have some nail 101 course. I find myself having nightmares when I remember the lady who did my nails, just pick up a cuticle clipper of her bag to do my nails. Shame on me not to stop her right there! They are only good on doing fake nails, aka gel, etc. However if you want to do real nails they do not know how to get done. My daughter and I were looking to get mani/pedis on a Saturday afternoon. We did not have an appointment but they took us in right away. We selected our polish and were seated and were soaking our feet in no time. Both ladies did a great job on both of us. ( I believe they were mother and daughter) my toes still look fresh and my regular mani lasted almost 10 days. The price was nice, $30 for mani/pedi. It is a busy shop with a lot of regulars. I did not have an appointment, but called ahead to ensure they could take me as a walk in. They knew when I arrived that I had called, but the technician seemed extremely put off by my presence, kind of rude if I'm being honest. To make my experience even better, she literally sneezed on my foot. That was awesome. My 5 year old son even knows to turn his head and cover. Granted, this place is cheap, but to keep customers coming back the service shouldn't reflect that. Maybe it's just her, or maybe it's me.
