We were preparing for an upcoming funeral, and I needed help with an expensive gold frame I had purchased from Hobby Lobby. One of the corners had separated, and I wanted to know whether the framing department could repair or reinforce it. Because the frame was large and heavy, I left it in my trunk until I confirmed that someone could help. My mother-in-law waited nearby so she could rest while my daughter accompanied me to the framing counter. I approached the employee working in the framing department and asked if he could assist me. His first response was, "I'm off in six minutes - what do you need?" The tone immediately caught me off guard. As I began explaining that the corner of the frame had broken apart and needed reinforcement, he interrupted me and said, "Stop. Just hurry up and tell me what you need." I was surprised because I was simply trying to explain the issue so he could determine whether it was something the framing department could fix. I told him the frame was needed for a funeral and asked if it could be repaired. Instead of addressing my question, he asked why my husband couldn't fix it. I explained that my husband is currently deployed, so he wasn't available to help, and that while I would try to repair it myself if necessary, I also work full-time. His response was simply, "So do I." At that point, it was clear that helping me was not a priority. What made the interaction even more upsetting was that my 4-year-old daughter asked afterward, "Mommy, why was that man so mean? Why didn't he want to help us?" Hearing that from my child was heartbreaking. I told her that maybe he was having a difficult day because I wanted her to understand that we should still try to show kindness to others. I shared my experience with the manager, who told me that this employee often tells others how important it is to be friendly with customers. Unfortunately, that was not reflected in the interaction we experienced. Thankfully, we went to Ace Hardware afterward, where an employee immediately took the time to help us. He recommended reinforcing the frame with small metal corner brackets, nails, and gold spray paint. His advice worked perfectly, and we were able to save the frame in time for the funeral. This review isn't about expecting perfection. Everyone has stressful days. It's about the importance of treating people with basic courtesy and respect, especially when they may already be going through a difficult time. A little kindness can make all the difference. Unfortunately, that was missing from our experience at Hobby Lobby.

The store has a huge selection of paper reams and envelopes of colors and types. I usually try to look for certain types of paper for my projects and writing. I asked a staff member at the front, who just pointed to the aisles I can look. He said everything I needed I would find. I honestly was quite overwhelmed and getting quite anxious, as I have already spent much time looking. I did end up finding nice writing paper. Pricy but good value. When rung up I was told there were other cheaper alternatives, but by then I wanted to leave. I at least know where good writing paper is, but the other types I will continue to purchase online.

Although stationary boulders was my request silly me Kelly paper is what they specialize in. I could've walked out knowing they could not service my needs, but they were so kind. I looked around and purchased reams of paper. I knew I would need in the future. After purchasing three reams of paper a box of envelopes at a well delightful price. I went on my merry way. Knowing that this was quite a holiday, they even assisted me to my car, which I thought was very professional and nice. The prices at Kelly are extremely competitive when you go to an ordinary stationary store. So Pop by this huge warehouse and take a look. You won't be wasting your time. Thank you, Kelly paper and associates.

It is filled with tons of beautiful quilting fabrics to choose from, as well as quilting books. My Tesla car did not fully self drive directly to the shop, it got me stuck in the back of a parking lot next door, from which I had to carefully back out from the long driveway with assistance from a passerby. However, I arrived in one piece to the Cotton Patch. The quilt shop had anything you might need for quilting, either as an early quilter or an experienced quilter. They offer quilting classes that you can sign up to take. They have a fine selection of BERNINA sewing machines and embroidery machines in a separate room inside the shop. I needed some recommendations about finishing a Hawaiian t-shirt quilt that I finished the blocks, and an experienced quilter that happened to be there, gave me some wonderful ideas written on a piece of scratch paper as to how I should do the sashing around my blocks in the quilt. She also helped me to pick out two complementary colors that would work well with all the colors of my 25 finished quilt blocks. I purchased 5.5 yards of cotton quilt fabrics and went home happily, with an idea as to how to put all of my blocks together in a finished quilt. I signed up for their store newsletter, and I look forward to getting tips and tricks from the quilt shop personnel who write it up monthly. The staff mentioned that they also participate in a quilt hop as well later in the year, and I look forward to hearing more about it. Do check out this shop, there are many sample quilts on display to look at for ideas. Parking is available in the back of this store, it's going down an alley right next to the shop.

We walked in, and was floored by all the fabrics choices. They had other things as well such as books and certain kits or something. They also have tread and all sewing needs stuff, including those fancy digital sewing machines. Those that worked here were really nice. We showed them the sheet that listed what we needed and someone asked my son his favorite color and led him to an area with blue patterned fabric. He chose a couple and a navy thread. Someone helped cut the amount of fabric, and then we checked out. Wow I was surprised how expensive fabric is!! Not even a yard of each of the 2 fabrics, and it was already close to $30!! I suppose the educational value and supporting local and handmade stuff is worth it though, given one can buy a pillow case with pillow for far cheaper. Highly recommend for those that know how to sew and enjoy such crafts. I don't have the talent or creativity, but I appreciate all the different types of fabrics and such here!
