Spent $56 on food for my family. Two were fried rice dishes and both had ABSOLUTELY no flavor. On top of that, I noticed no green onions, so I called and was told they don't even include green onions unless you pay extra--which is wild, because that's a basic ingredient in fried rice. Also they didn't say that when we ordered in person?? Charging extra for that is like charging for ketchup with fries... it just doesn't make sense. Anyways, the food was not good at all, gave it to a homeless person. My fiancé has been supporting this place for years, but after this experience, neither of us will be coming back. This is my favorite place for takout! I love the orange chicken combo with vegetable fried rice! I love the orange taste that the chicken has! I'm not a big rice fan, but I always ask for extra vegetables in my vegetable fried rice! They always put enough in it so I can bypass the rice! This trip I got some vegetable spring rolls! I love the light and crispy skin that the roll has and even though I started on it last in my meal, it was still warm on the inside! YUM! I also like that there is so much food that there are leftovers for another meal! Although my meal was very tasty, I wonder what the food would taste like it was cooked fresh to order! read more

My sister told me to give them a try. I got hot braised wings and shrimp fried rice. It was done of the best Chinese food I've tried. The braised wings were sticky and hot, the way I like them. The fried rice had nice size shrimp in it and bean sprouts, which I love. I stay on the Southside of town and will travel over there for their food. Worth a try!! read more

This is a very popular and busy fast food Chinese restaurant in Decatur. The food is good and they give you lots of it. But the customer service is even better. It is a family ran business and they even have their tween kids working the register....and they are pros! Shout out to the cashier and her son who take my order when I come in..they are awesome! The seating is functional with a about 8 tables that line the walls. However, when crowded, the line of people waiting to order and those who have placed order merge with the seating areas so it can be awkward dining in when there is a crowd. It wasn't anything to write to grandma about. It was the typical american Chinese food. It is a little hole in the wall, with a few tables and chairs. There are pictures of their food along the side of the wall. Apparently someone ( management) took them. The photos weren't appealing. In fact I wouldn't want to eat there at all, if I saw the photos first. I only ordered rice and spring roll. The roll tasted a bit like paper. No I don't eat paper. The rice was ok. It wasn't salty which is a good thing. I waited longer than normal for only rice and spring roll. As I mentioned it wasn't anything that stood out at this place. The braised wings and crab ragoon are the I have ever tasted. The wings are crispy and perfect balance of sweet and savory. Crab ragoon is not greasy and has a delicious cream cheese filling. I have tried the general tso chicken it's decent, they are made out of good size pieces of chicken. The fried rice has no flavor however it is not greasy so I guess it's a trade off. The vegetable lo mein has no flavor and the noodles are huge. The egg rolls are not good at all greasy and taste horrible. The beef teriyaki/pepper steak (if that's what you call it) the meat is tough and comes with tons of peppers and onions to look more than what it is both taste the exact same. I haven't eaten anything else from there but it's worth going just for the wings! read more

Lucky Panda is my local Chinese restaurant. I discovered them one day while at Publix, looked at their health score of 97 at the time(currently a 95) and decided to give them a try. For the record, the food is 4 stars, customer service can hit a 2.5 at times. To start with, overall, the food, flavors and portions are always consistent. Out of about 7 visits, they've only screwed up my order once. What I love most about this place is that they're not stingy with their vegetables at all inside of the entrees, and you can distinguish one sauce from another i.e. teriyaki, general tsao, hunan, spicy garlic. My family and I usually order Hunan Chicken or Shrimp, Shrimp Fried Rice, Veggie Spring Rolls or Teriyaki Chicken add Brocc. The downside to the great food is that the actual owners, male and female work there. They are hard working people, but lack people skills and their English is not good. This accounts for a lot of misunderstandings and lack of positive feedback from customers during their busiest times. I mean, their food is good, that's why they stay busy. They really need to hire a staff who can clearly communicate with their customer base. Food is great. The only place I eat Chinese from in Lithonia at the moment. read more

Overall the food and customer service is okay. Most of the dishes had good flavor but I noticed that all their dishes have way too much grease when you open the box there's a noticeable grease layer sitting on top of anything that comes with gravy and the fried rice has a tendency to be a little soggy due to the amount of oil in it also the shrimp portions are way too small my fried rice had 5 baby shrimp but n it and my shrimp and broccoli had 5 medium shrimp. Tip: don't get anything spicy it's too hot trust me and I love spicy food. read more

This is by far the best chinese food in the area however, they can be skimpy on their portion size and there is nearly no hospitality as a kid takes your order most times and the restaurant is very warm in temperature. The food is good, cooked fast, and very affordable .The service is okay during the week but oddly better on the weekend when the younger workers are there. Lol. The younger girls speak English and are easier to talk to and understand than the lady who works the cash register during the week. Stay away from the hot and four soup . Very good Chinese food. I went here based on the reviews and will say that they have everything that I like. I wish that the wonton soup had more stuff in it aside from just wontons and chicken broth. Other than that, everything else that I had ordered was great. I had pork fried rice, steamed dumplings, sweet and sour pork, Singapore rice noodles, and won ton soup. I will be back, and this is one of my preferred spots in the neighborhood for Chinese. read more
