Lucky's Coffee Roasters is serving up some unique speciality coffee drinks in the IE! To get here, there is street parking all around and it typically is not too crowded. Inside, they have a good amount of seating and some seating in an outdoor patio space as well. For their menu, they have a great selection of different coffees, espresso, matchas, and seasonal items. Wifey and I stopped by after lunch and decided to try their Matcha Love and the Butter Beer from the winter menu. Both drinks had a great balance of flavors with the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. Overall, this spot is a gem in the area! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. This is a great spot to come get some work done, chat with some homies, or just to grab a drink and go. Come stop by and support an awesome local business in the IE!

Came here to the Upland location for the 1st time. The ladies here were really nice behind the counter. I ordered the hot salted caramel coffee. Was made really good! Nice quiet place to relax and plenty of seats. A few outside seats.. Very clean. I will come back!

Really great drinks/ flavor options! I had the Masarap and it's not overly sweet/ overwhelmed with the coffee flavor. It was a great balance of coffee beans and ube flavor. Will definitely come back to try out other flavors as well. The place is pretty small to work/ study, however they have a variety of 3 different spaces to enjoy (outdoor, in-door high chairs and sofa)

Something different! Espresso mule. It was good! but also had a kick to it, like ginger or something. Customer service was alright. Cute coffee shop.

It appears to be permanently closed. The whole place looks gutted. Too bad! They were a wonderful spot. I heard from a neighboring business that they moved to Claremont.

Lucky I found this place! Great coffee, they have all the options to customize whatever coffee drink you want. The staff were friendly and polite. The seating area is clean and comfortable. There is a small nook seating area with a couch for a more private area. This was perfect for a quick meeting with my coworkers. Easy street parking in a safe neighborhood.

Was looking for a place to hang while two of my kids climbed at Hanger 18 this past summer and found Lucky's. Well, I was certainly the lucky one. I walked the Upland Village prior and couldn't find a good place to hang and work. There was one small shop but they had no seating. So, I drove on and found Lucky's. The atmosphere is great. Just was I was seeking. Good sized shop, nicely decorated, and open spaces to hang. My latte was well made - steamed properly, not overly hot and not too cold either. Much better than Starbucks. My favorite part of Lucky's was having a comfortable place to enjoy a drink and a snack while getting some work done. Also, I do like their design and look/feel of the place.

Lucky's Coffee Roasters originally started in June 2019 and this location is the flagship shop. Currently there are three locations (Downtown Upland, Claremont [featuring the company's roastery that serves the other locations], and Downtown Los Angeles) and Lucky Coffee Roasters believes in serving better across the board rather than only niche/specialty coffees. [Parking]: Easy free street parking. [Atmosphere]: Friendly cashier and he asked all customers "What's your plan for the day?" - limited outdoor patio tables and comfortable indoor atmosphere. [Menu]: Classic coffee, teas, some extras (hot chocolate, lemonade, steamer, etc), and speciality drinks. Even though Honey Vanilla Latte is one of Yelp highlighted drinks, I was not able to find it on the menu (Blush was the closest drink). Cashier asked what do I want and replied we can prepare Honey Vanilla Latte for you. *** Latte (12 oz hot, $5.75 - extra $0.50 with honey vanilla): While the drink didn't below me out of the water, It was still a solid cup of latte. *** Above-average latte and friendly service - good coffee shop in Downtown Upland.

Been here 2x and both times experience has been GREAT! Staff is very friendly and always offers great suggestions even off the menu stuff that comes out amazing. Very cozy welcoming coffee shop that has a great atmosphere. There is still so much I need to try but so far they have been amazing!

    Pistachio matcha and London fog
    Jamie L.

3.5 stars. Stopped by this coffee spot to get some work done since I was in the area. The inside is spacious and bright and has a good amount of tables to work or catch up with friends. Got the London Fog (earl grey tea with milk) and their monthly special pistachio matcha with oat milk. Drinks are average tasting - The London Fog had a great earl grey flavor but was slightly watered down. The pistachio matcha's pistachio syrup tasted a bit artificial. Would come back to get work done (wifi is also fast) and try a different drink!

Went for a walk with my friend and she said took me here to try their coffee and was impressed! There's a few coffee places in these parts and most of them are ok, but Lucky's has both great coffee and pastries and a cool space. I noticed they have a lot of indoor seating but no where to plug your phone or laptop which does not make an ideal co-work space. I believe I had their Iced Honey Latte with oat milk and the difference is you taste the coffee and little to no bitterness which is hard to find around these parts. My favorite coffee spot was Portola before they left my neighborhood and I just have not found that quality of coffee drink since...until now. The pastries here are also top tier. My favorite hometown coffee spot is Hidden House and it's because they also have an in-house Baker that makes fresh pastries daily and they have the best almond croissant. I saw the croissants here and already knew these were going to be good. I tried the pistachio croissant just because it was different and while it was good quality I wasn't a fan of the pistachio. I would probably try the savory croissant next since I can't find that anywhere else. Also, they didn't offer to warm up the croissant but I would ask them to as that could make a huge difference. Overall, I love the coffee and will be back to try more and the staff were super nice and helpful.

One of the best coffee shops in Upland CA. Plenty of street parking and easy to spot on the outside in downtown. The place itself has a couple of seating high top and a long table and a couch area. It would be nice to have more table seating in here. The high top tables are awesome with a lamp and outlets for each table. They have two outdoor tables with umbrellas. Wifi and restrooms are available. Clean feel and look inside. The coffee is unique with different flavors each season so your always trying something new. They have a wide variety of pastries and breakfast options as well. Overall, great place with great customer service as well!

The service was great, they were attentive and quick, the drinks came out quick as well! Coffee : got the plain vanilla latte with almond milk because I wanted to try their coffee/lattes without all the extra flavorings. My friend got the creme brulee latte, and overall they both kinda tasted more like milk than coffee. And I understand that they are lattes but I barely tasted coffee. The food is where I was more disappointed in. I got both chicken pesto and turkey swiss panini. Chicken pesto: had no pesto, I had asked the server if the pesto was a spread vs chicken flavored with pesto or something because i was confused on why I just got a chicken and cheese panini, and they told me it should be a spread. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but a panini pressed chicken and cheese is baseline good. Turkey Swiss: had no arugula, and I mean not a huge deal but if its unavailable it should be expressed or at least changed on the menu? Again not a bad sandwich but it was just a turkey Swiss panini with not much else so I'm not sure if i would want to pay $10+ for it. I want to try their matcha but I'm debating if its worth to gamble seeing if it's going to be good matcha or just a sweet drink. Nothing wrong with a sweet treat, but more a personal preference if I'm looking for a quality coffee/ matcha.

We opted for the alfajores, strawberry croissant, and warm ham and cheese croissant. First, the alfajores! Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS! This wonderful South American dessert was properly made and HUGE. The filling and the outside cookie were both perfect -- the flavors felt like a symphony dancing across my tongue. Next, the strawberry croissant: a perfectly flaky pastry filled with creamy, smooth custard that had just the right amount of everything. It was like a dream. Third and finally, the ham and cheese croissant -- OMG! I don't remember ever having a ham and cheese croissant like this before. This was quite possibly the best one I've ever eaten. This little family-owned and operated bakery/coffeehouse is one of my favorites. I highly recommend that anyone passing through stop by and indulge -- and I don't mean a little... go all out and treat yourself! Very straightforward, but really well balanced. If you've never had chicory coffee before, it has a deeper, slightly earthy flavor that stands out from a standard cold brew without being overly bitter. It feels inspired by Louisiana/New Orleans-style coffee rather than the super sugary "dessert coffee" trend that a lot of places lean into right now. What I especially appreciate is the price point. At around $5.75, it feels reasonable for a specialty coffee drink that still tastes unique and intentional.

Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience.
