Came here on a Sunday morning around 11:30am. Handful of people sitting outside with a few people in line to order as well. I ordered an iced honey vanilla latte ... which was SO GOOD! Probably one of my favorites!! Coffee flavor was delicious. I will def be returning to get this drink again when I'm in the area. Lots of parking around the neighborhood. I really enjoy this place. They have unique lattes that provide the perfect change of pace to your usual cup of Joe. I can rave about the honey and mint. Their house coffee is also up to par! Milk alternatives include oat and almond. I find Lucky's to be a peaceful place to study. It can get boring in a library, but there is plenty of open space and great lightening here. Cute coffee place in downtown Upland. Plenty of space and they have rolling doors that they can open to make it feel even larger and allow for fresh air to come in. The two people working were friendly. The decor was cute and simple. They were having a BOGO sale so I ordered the lime in the coconut and April kisses. The lime in the coconut was super refreshing and different because it has actual lime juice and topi chico sparkling water, but it was really good. Pleasantly surprised and the April kisses was also really good and not too sweet, which I appreciate. Will definitely be back soon. read more

As a bunny rescuer, the bunny logo obviously was the reason why I noticed this place and came and I have been here a few times as it is especially for that rabbit hole drink because well the more espresso in me in the morning the happier I am lol. I love that doggies can go in and i just want to make a point... IF YOUR DOGGIE BARKS. IT IS OK. THAT IS WHAT THEY DO. it's like telling a person who loves coffee. Not to drink coffee lol. Super friendly staff and a cool little spot in historic Upland. I ordered the iced honey cinnamon latte and in all honesty if you love honey this is for you however in my mind the honey flavor completely overpowers the drink and does not allow you to enjoy the coffee or cinnamon flavor profiles so for me it's a lukewarm. I also bought one of their coconut donuts which was very interesting as it was more representative of a cake versus a donut it wasn't bad but it wasn't something I would order again. read more

I'm not exactly thrilled with my two experiences at Lucky's. Yesterday I went in to order a pour over, but apparently their Chemex broke, and they did not replace it so pour over it was not available. Today I went in to order a 16 ounce drip, but they were out of 16 ounce cups so I could only get a 12 ounce. On top of that, the price for their 12 ounce drip is more than RADs price for their 16 ounce drip. The coffee was good, but it doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle if they're not going to have what you want. I'm not saying this place is bad, just kind of sucks that they didn't have either of the items on the menu that I wanted and it ended up costing me more. read more

First time coming here with the husband, the place was clean and welcoming. He got the April kisses iced with oat milk and I got an iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup and oat milk. Both drinks were very good and not too sweet at all, the matcha was not too bitter and not too mellow. Really good balance of flavor. Enjoying having a legitimate 3rd wave coffee shop in the Upland/North-Ontario area. They're admitting still dialing in their flavor profiles but everything I've tried so far I've enjoyed. Coldbrew, Iced Vanilla Latte, Cortado, Cappuccino. Their basic Ethiopia or Guatemala is a balanced foundation for their espresso based drink options. Lucky's is quite the addition to the downtown Upland area! After hearing such wonderful things about this coffee shop, I finally decided to pop in the other day when I was nearby for work. The barista working at the time was not only extremely friendly, but he was knowledgable about the different drinks, taking the time and care to explain the different options to me. I ended up getting the butterfly tea latte and it was delicious. I opted to stay, and my drink was served to me in a cute glass jar, and the barista also brought me over a glass of water. I definitely hope to frequent Lucky's more in the future and try more of their coffee and other drink selections. They are a wonderful addition to Upland! read more

Went in to get an iced white mocha. I'm told by the cashier that they can't do a white mocha. He then asks me what is in a white mocha....REALLY?! YOU WORK AT A COFFEE SHOP AND DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A WHITE MOCHA IS?? The guy consults with the baristas for a second, comes back and tells me their solution....add oat milk to a regular mocha which will make it "lighter"....I can't even with their logic that somehow adding more of ANY milk product to a mocha is magically going to make it taste like a white chocolate mocha. The flavor profile of regular chocolate to white is CONSIDERABLY DIFFERENT.... hence the reason they make white mochas to begin with....if it were as simple as adding more milk product, you'd always just order a mocha with extra milk lmao!! I'll stick with RAD Coffee down the street, they clearly understand coffee better there. read more

It's not often that you find coffee cafes that really honor the complexity of coffee! I enjoy coming here bc the baristas are very knowledgeable. They have 'regular' coffee combos and they also have more artisan coffees and teas creations on the menu. And the cafe is the prefect temperature, not to hot or cold! Ever since I can remember, I have been fond of coffee. As a kid, I would beg for a sip from my parents' cups, then beg for my own cup, and eventually succeeded in getting my own cup on special occasions. As an adult, all coffee/any coffee was my friend--you know, all the big chain stuff and different blends/beans/flavors at the supermarket. I wasn't picky, especially because I am generally a boring coffee drinker. Most often I drink plain black coffee. Once in awhile a latte. It usually all tastes the same to me, until I tried Luckys. On my first visit in December, I bought two bags of coffee beans as a birthday gift for my friend at work. But then there was a Covid surge that month, and our office telecommuting was extended so I did not get to deliver the gift and ended up using the beans myself. To my surprise, the taste of the coffee was so delightful and unique. There are tasting notes on the label of the coffee bag, and guess what? They're actually accurate! And as I said I'm not picky or bougie about my coffee, but this coffee has definitely been life changing. How am I supposed to go back to my other crappy beans? Most recently I stopped in for more beans, and decided to treat myself to a Horchata Latte, and it was divine! This location is super charming in the old downtown area of Upland and service is wonderful. Check them out, but be warned, you may never be able to drink ordinary or crappy coffee again! read more

Stumbled upon this coffee shop in downtown Upland and didn't know what to expect. There were plenty of outdoor seating and a very spacious indoor space. It's too bad that you can't just sit inside with your laptop and relax with a cup of latte. Got the iced oatmilk latte and was pleasantly surprised by the great taste that's not too floral or bitter.
