Horrible. Didnt tell us about a private event. Said "sales" should have reached out. Was taking my friend for his birthday.

The Private Equity Ensh!ittifcation is Real…read more A group of friends and I went to Bowlero for a night of fun. On the way over, I was excited, but I left the venue feeling somewhat ripped off. Bowling has shifted from an affordable, casual pastime to a premium, entertainment-focused experience, with prices rising substantially in recent years. Firstly, the layout of the bowling alley has changed (at least at the Wheat Ridge location). Gone are the benches you might be accustomed to at each lane. Instead, there are tables near-ish the lanes, laid out in a zig-zag fashion. As you can imagine, some tables are closer to the lanes than others, and when we arrived another group was at our assigned table because it was closer to their lane. I don't fault the group at all - they just sat down close to their lane, but this system makes it problematic for people who just want to enjoy their night. The server ended up having to move two tables as a result, because... everyone was at the "wrong" tables near their respective lanes. The bench layout was much better in my opinion. No confusion. It makes little sense why they decided to get rid of those. Secondly, the service was meh. There was definitely a shortage of servers, and it took very long to receive anything that was ordered. I don't fault our sever for this. Rather, I fault management for not staffing properly. Typical corporate/PE playbook. Thirdly, playing two games cost me roughly $60 (for games + shoe rental + tax). If your birth year starts with a 1, then you probably scoffed at this amount. I certainly did. Don't even bother reserving a lane ahead of time, as it's even more expensive. It's also worth noting that the food (typical mediocre bowling alley food) and beverages are not cheap... All in all, bowling used to be inexpensive and fun. Now it's only slightly fun. Lucky Strike Entertainment is buying all the bowling alleys, slapping a new coat of paint on the buildings, and then tripling the prices. The rampant pursuit of profits over everything really makes me dislike bowling. I probably will not visit a Bowlero again in a very, very long time.

Lotta new features very exciting atmosphere when you walk in hear the balls and pins and the people in the children food cooking in the kitchen. We stopped in to check it out as we're thinking about starting to do something different and we sat at the bar John the bartender was totally amazing to sit and chill with., we laughed with him we talked with him. He found me a charger for my phone as it was dying out or dead I should say lol but anyways, we have decided that we are gonna go back and try to bowl. John suggested what times would be best for that to happen for people that are just getting back on and that Saturday mornings we had a great time and we will be back. The bathroom was very clean. Everything was really clean accessible parking accessible doors accessible bathrooms, very well maintained. Everybody was super super nice. I believe the kitchen manager brought us over some wings and wished us happy Valentine's Day as we were enjoying our beers found that very, very comforting and welcoming so if you're ever down in that area, stop by and get a lane and throw some balls around lol. Bar is nicely spaced away from lanes as to create its own experience and vibe. Bartender was friendly and carried great conversation about family and his job was held easily between us. Interior was filled with a wide variety of music at decent level as to hold such conversations at a normal friendly level. Tables and seating were clean and aroma of food offerings occasionally filed the air. Bar area lighting kept bar area exclusive and held its own experience. Lanes were well lit and open for any size group giving enough space for a fun and unobstructed night of sportsmanship. The mall maybe gone but this mainstay has survived for a good reason and will prove why when visiting.

They had the board set up for our party but it would have been nice if they spelled it properly (take the effort to spell check!) What we had with our party group: *PIZZA: This was good *CHICKEN STRIPS: Tasty *FRIES *FRUIT PLATTER: This was really gross. I am not sure if they were frozen and then defrosted but it was mushy and not flavorful. *PARTY COOKIE CAKE: This was a welcome sweetness. *ENDLESS DRINKS We had a fun time despite the misspelling and the gross fruit. I would definitely stick to the pizza or the fried foods (chicken strips and fries) as those tasted good. The cookie was also very tasty. After we played in the arcade a bit. I bought some arcade credits off Groupon which were almost half the price for the same amount they were selling there so worth checking out Groupon if you're hitting up the arcade.

When you close out the bowling/mini golf tab, they give you the option to tip. The total was $55 and some change. I chose not to tip on that transaction because the only "service" provided was someone handing me bowling shoes and swiping my card. I did leave a cash tip for the food. Later, I get a notification that my $55 charge magically turned into $85. Unless those shoes gave me a foot massage and words of encouragement, I did not leave a $30 tip. I now have a dispute open because I absolutely did not authorize that charge. Thankfully, I kept my receipts and took photos showing no tip was added. If you want to tip $30 for someone handing you shoes, live your best life. But altering a charge afterward is not okay and is incredibly sketchy. Moral of the story: keep your receipts, take pictures, and double-check your charges if you come here. $30 for shoe hand-off is wild.
