Our large group took over their little patio area pretty early on around 5:30pm and set up camp there until 10:30ish. It was fairly slow at the beginning, but as the night went on, the inside of the Shebeen filled up and this spot was bumpin'. They specialize in whiskys (hence their name), so I was ordering old fashioneds left and right. I did also have a gin and tonic or two at the beginning of the evening. The old fashioneds were some of my favourite I've had in Vancouver. You can also order food through the Irish Heather menu. After a few drinks, I needed to put some food in my body so I ordered the curry fries. Wow, wow, wow. I was in saucy fry heaven. I need more of this in my life. Honestly, I'd come back just for this. Our servers (we had two checking in on us throughout the evening), were ROCKSTARS! Before I even had finished my drink, they were already checking in and asking if we wanted another... this resulted me in never having an empty drink, which I definitely felt the next day.
