YOU HAVE THE WRONG PLACE...This quaint little hole-in-the-way joint is separate from, yet shares a wall with a small bar in the neighborhood that borders Spanaway Lake Golf Course...not the vacant strip mall south down Pac Ave. If you're going to take the time to berate and trash a business' reputation, get the right place! So, R J, J S, Teeeena B, Debbra with two Bs, and Christina P, and the rest of you...redact your reviews! The sweet lady that runs Lucky Teriyaki serves great tasting, large portions of down home Asian goodness. She takes the orders, cooks the food, AND runs it out to her customers in their cars in the parking lot during rush hour at lunch. Not only that, she may even sing "Thank Yoooouuuu..." when you pick up a take out order. So, I'm done trashing you drooling Yelp Trolls. Clean it up! Worst shrimp fried rice ever! I've eaten here before, but after tonight, I'm done. This dish smelled SO bad, the shrimp was scarce and burned, and the OIL...wow!! So much oil! That's probably what happened-reused OVERUSED, RANCID cooking oil and spoiled the whole dish! I wrapped it back up in bag and threw it away. My kitchen/dining room reeks of its stench. Although their wonton soup is super tasty, I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon. read more

I haven't even tasted the food yet and I can tell you I won't be back. The sign in the window says open till 9:00 pm...I walked thru the door at 8:30, and she told me they were closing and we could not eat there. After pointing out that they were still 'open', she allowed us to order and sit. At 45 min in, we finally got our food....and it was cold. By this time, I just wanted to eat and leave. A local teriyaki spot that gets it right! Lots of parking, as it is in a strip mall area, It shares a door with the Bulls eye Bar. The Chicken Donburi was really good, as was the Spicy Chicken (which is basically Donburi with hot and spicy sauce). The spicy chicken teriyaki was really good, and really spicy, no unnecessary vegetables or anything. They also had some Chinese items on the menu (Sweet and sour pork, fried rice, General TSO's chicken), but I have not tried those items. A great place to go for a quick teriyaki bite. read more

I really like this place a lot, it's kind of in a small littler portion of the building by Sally's Beauty supply and can be easily missed in passing. It kind of makes me laugh because it says "TERIYAKI" on the sign but on the door is says Chinese. :) Anyways, for the most important thing....the FOOD! The portion sizes are not too bad. Personally, my favorite thing to order is the spicy teriyaki. It's yummy yummy. I normally take it to go, I never eat in. The salads and the dressing is also sooo good! I stopped in this evening. I've been moving, so I was hungry. I was finishing a phone call, so I walked in and looked at their menu board. An older lady peeked her head out from behind the curtain and then disappeared again as I finished my call and stepped up to the counter. I waited five minutes for her to return. I tried to place my order - "Hello. I'd like one order of beef teriyaki and ..." she stopped me. She sighed and then, "Ooh. No. No. Not tonight. No order tonight." The NASTIEST Food i've purchased from a 'Teriyaki Joint' in a while. I ordered through Door Dash. My Food was Picked-Up and Delivered Promptly. HOWEVER, the food quality was VERY poor. My 'Won Ton Soup' was mostly soggy cabbage, Water, and MSG. The Fried Rice I ordered was RANCID. It smelled like it had been left out for a couple days, or the Rice that was used was not refrigerated. The Mongolian Beef was discolored, and very tough in texture. The only semi edible item was the Pot Stickers. I remember back early 2000's, this place had some of the best 'Chinese Food' you could find in the area. Not anymore. read more

Always drive past this place and have never stopped. Well today I did and have to say I should have gone somewhere else. First thing I noticed was the floor is sticky, so was the table and the bar facing the road. The food was typical teriyaki, nothing to rave about. I asked for water and after a few sips I noticed something floating in my water, asked for a new cup and showed the lady something was floating in it. She got all huffy with my for asking for a new cup, never did talk to me after that, even when I left told her have a nice day and she just glared at me. Just moved to the neighborhood and Went in to this hole in the wall to order 2 meals for take out. Got home and both orders were wrong and very small portions. Called them and they tried to say we got what we paid for. Very rude lady that all she had to do is make our order right! Will NEVER return here!! I did takeout here, I am not completely sure what I thought we were ordering but it was not edible food. We ordered beef teriyaki and the meat was grey and so chewy so we quickly set that aside and opened up the chicken fried rice, again the meat was a strange color and clearly not seasoned. Basically it was boiled meat piled on top of white rice with a bit of soy in it. The Singapore noodles that I was looking forward to were still hard and so salty (the curry was overpowering) that it too was set aside. The pot stickers have such a small amount of filling in them they are basically fried wrappers. I urge you to find a different place to eat. It just wasn't worth it. read more

This small hole in the wall, actually shares a wall with a bar, is a secret find. The teriyaki is fantastic. The owner and her daughter are so nice, the food is cheap, quick and good. After seeing a previous rating on this business refusing to prepare an order, we also had arrived at 7pm and the open sign was lit. I decided oh, hell no, this business owner needs to know this type of action is unacceptable. We had been to this business before and my daughter told me she was rude and claimed she couldn't understand what my daughter was requesting, although she pointed at the pictures of the meal on the wall. So I went inside and told her what we wanted and I had no problem. My daughter went in last night and she refused to prepare our order. This business owner needs to retire since she doesn't have a clue about customer service and only cooks when she feels like it, or when she is in the mood. We've been looking for a local teriyaki spot to go to so we decided to try Lucky Teriyaki. To start with I was greeted by a very rushed impatient lady at the register. I proceeded to order our food. When asked if we would like to eat there or take the food to go, I responded that we would like to eat there. The lady stated that our food would take longer to get to us if we decided to eat there. There was only one other table that had patrons at the time. So, we decided to sit and wait. While waiting we noticed that everything, I mean everything, from chairs to tables, window sills, flowers, etc., had a thick sticky residue on it. It was quite disgusting. I carry wipes with me and tried to remove some of the residue from our table. I ended up with a pile of blackened wipes. EW. Also, while we were waiting the restaurant filled with smoke from the kitchen. It became a little hard to breathe. Our meal took about 20 minutes to get to us. Which is not that bad, so I'm not sure why I was told it would take a long time. I ordered the teriyaki chicken. Not horrible, but I've had better. My kids ordered the yakisoba. They were unable to eat it because it was saturated with a very sweet sauce. The lady never did come back to the table to make sure everything was ok. So, we definitely will not be coming back. read more
