Had Lucky's pizza for the first time today. I got the daily special and the stuffed shells. I honestly didn't think it was going to be a big portion. But to my surprise it was more than enough, they included a side salad and also a garlic bread with it! The cheese slice pizza was really, really good!! Glad my coworker recommended. Best Pizza in Glendale!!!! I've been eating here for 15 years!!! Anything and everything that you order here will be amazing! Especially their Pizza, Wings and Philly Cheesesteaks. Oh, and their calzones are to die for! They are family owned. A lot of people think they're Italian but they're all actually from Kosovo. Fun fact lol. Even the items on their menu that aren't as popular, are still amazing. They use very high quality ingredients and they make a DAMN good pizza. My wife is obsessed with their grilled chicken Caesar salad. If you're in the Glendale area and haven't tried this place, I would highly recommend you try it. read more

We were visiting the area for a tourney and decided to try it due to the high reviews. Boy are we glad we did!! For starters the woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. We ordered a special with pepperoni pizza and wings. So delicious!! Since moving to Surprise from Ohio this has become our go to place for real east coast pizza. The Sicilian pizza is our favorite but the kids really enjoy the thin crust as well. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a very good and not to over the top expensive place to get a great pie. read more

I have tried all local pizza places around them but none of them seem to fit the cut but this is the real deal. The pizza and meatball sandwich are fantastic and though I'm not a big wing fan, they've always gone over well with friends and family who are. This place has great food. Pizza was a bit greasey but oh so dang delicious!! Wings were nice and crispy, being a sauce lover could've had more but was sufficient not swimming but coated. The fried mushrooms was sooo good!! We also got the antipasto salad and it was delicious with hand cut meats in it. Everything was made to order and was done in under 30 minutes!! The place has been around for over 20+ years and the whole family was in there helping to run the restaurant. Hands down was amazing and will definitely be going back!! You can also use the slice app and order everything from there for pick up or delivery (depending on location). Oh and not to mention they were not stingy with the ranch and Italian dressing, which was nice when most places will give you a tint container of ranch for 20 wings and x-large pizza. Their pizza is amazing. Usually I get toppings on my pizza but their cheese pizza taste so good you don't need any toppings. Their wings are so flavorful and crispy, you can't get enough. Their beer they have on tap, they freeze the pitcher and the mugs they give, especially since I love my beer ice cold. The staff is so welcoming and funny. The sitting arrangement is spacey and comfortable. Great place to watch sports. Great place for families. Family owned and they know their food. I am a Pizza Snob. I have actually been driving about 10 miles round trip to get quality pizza. ..until now! Lucky's on Cactus will be my pizza place from now on. The NY Style stuffed pizza was PERFECT! The toppings were succulent and the crust was amazing. In addition, they had made a small and understandable mistake when billing my card, so the young man that took my order actually came to my house PERSONALLY to explain what happened and deliver my pizza. How refreshing to deal with a business that chooses to own their mistakes and go out of their way to make it right. BRAVO Lucky's on Cactus! Ordered an extra large pizza and twenty wings. First of all even with the special you end up spending $35, which is a little over priced. It is even more over priced when you consider that the pizza arrived cold and with burned crust, the wings were cold, and they messed up the order. Even small things like checking boxes on their order screen requesting peppers and parm and ranch, not blue cheese, seem to be to much for them to sort out as I got no peppers or parm and you guessed it, blue cheese. It was very disappointing and I won't be ordering again. read more

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. The service was absolutely terrible, I have never been treated like that in my life. We order for delivery wanted to try something new, we liked the prices and they had quite a few options. We were wrong on so many levels. We get our pizza in a reasonable time but come to find out all of our extras, ranch and garlic butter, were completely wrong. The ranch was filled up maybe a quarter of the way and instead of getting two garlic butters we get a garlic butter and a cup full of garlic salt. Okay? So we call so we can let them know only to be told that we were wrong. We asked if it would be extra for the ranch and garlic butter and they said yes, only to be told later that we were never charged for it, even though our total clearly had those extra charges. As if that wasn't bad enough, you know telling us that what we are looking at is wrong, we get hung up on. My fiance called back immediately and told the man who claimed he was the manager that he was hung up on. The manager continued to YELL "She did not hang up on you! Don't say that!" After still trying to explain why we were upset my fiance gets frustrated and ends the call. Not being our first run in with bad customer service, although this one takes the cake, we were still going to sit down and eat because we are all hungry. The food was horrible. The wings tasted like they were cooked for twenty minutes too long and the pizza just didn't taste good at all. We are pizza people, we usually like any pizza put in front of us! As if the bad customer service wasn't bad enough, the food was terrible too! I wanted my money back. So this time I call and speak to the "Manager". He recognizes my story as "Oh the man who was yelling a lot?" Let me just say, he didn't yell once, he got frustrated but never yelled. I continue to tell him that despite the customer service we were still going to sit down to our meal but it all tasted bad and I wanted my money back. He kept saying "Oh yes, I know" when I would tell him what was wrong. He kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain the problem. Finally he agreed on giving my money back, but he made sure to tell me he wouldn't pay the driver or give him gas money. IT WAS HIS MISTAKE!!!!! I am livid and will never be returning. I will tell everyone I know NEVER to go to Lucky's Pizza! read more
