Lucy is fabulously AMAZING!!! Warning: long review. As a person who's been getting her brows micro blade from the same artist YEARLY for the last 13 years, I can say I know a thing or two about it. Unfortunately, I am the worst candidate for micro blading as I have oily skin and big pores. Last year, for my 14th year, I felt the need for change. I am very loyal and super worried on trusting my brows to a different artist. Researched for a while and finally 2 stands out. Lucy and an artist in Beverly Hills. Both promising, followed their page for 3 months. My gut feelings says Lucy :) and boy I was not disappointed at all. I was in awe with her work!!! She's a perfectionist and created an astonishing work. I chose to do the review a year after because I wanted to see what's "left" after. In my case normally after the 10th month, a lot of my strokes are literally gone but Lucy's work, I see at least 60% and this is my 13th month!!! BTW, my friend who's first timer opted for the artist in BH last year, she is getting them fixed by Lucy this year!!!!! Ladies just a friendly advice, they are investments, so please take care of it, follow after care precisely and don't scrub and use strong products on your brows. I have the worst combination of skin ever for micro blading. I have known and accepted that after 14 years of experience, have to do it annually because my skin's pigment doesn't retain it as long. Through out the year I have learned to successfully go through the one week healing process. I have a zipped sweat shirt I specifically use for this. I literally zipped both my arms inside the sweater so I can avoid "accidentally" scratching my new brows(which I did the very first time I got it in 2004!!) Because sometime they do itch. Don't pick on the scabs(even though it looks like it's "about" to fall), I know how satisfying to probably do it but let it normally fall. I use huge cotton pads to wash and rinse my face during healing period. I also get my hair washed in a salon(treat yourself as well)and cover it with Saran Wrap to avoid splashes. I am so happy I did my research and found this place for my eyebrows. Cako is absolutely amazing and so easy to deal with. We had a blast during my two sessions and my eyebrows look amazing. I'm so happy I don't have to spend 10 minutes plus every single morning drawing in my eyebrows. I think its important to ask for images of healed eyebrows rather than selecting your choice based on fresh eyebrows. Most fresh eyebrows look great. Only after it heals can you get a better idea of what you've envisioned and what you actually get. After my first session, some strokes disappeared completely and others faded dramatically even though I followed her instructions for post-care. This isn't her fault because my skin wasn't taking the ink and I get that everyone's skin reacts differently. Some people are fine with 2 sessions and some people need 3. After I left my touch-up appointment, I noticed later on that night that she completely missed the bottom middle of my right eyebrow. I drove from SD so I spent the day out and didn't get home until late that night. I didn't notice this in her apartment because it was semi-dark, no lights were turned on and my natural hair was covering it. My front was clearly uneven so I was more focused on fixing the obvious. I texted and emailed her to let her know and she told me that I would be charged a fee to fix it. I really don't think it was very professional of her to say that. If I got my hair dyed and they missed a spot they would fix it at no cost. It should be the same here. I needed 2-3 more strokes in that one area of my eyebrow that was left completely blank. She is supposed to be a professional so why is it that I was supposed to point it out for her. Also, when you are unhappy with the shape of your eyebrows make sure when she fixes it, she goes over it more than once. In both sessions, when she fixed it to my liking, she only went over it once, and the corrections quickly disappeared during the healing process both times. I thought it was just because my skin was stubborn so I didn't say anything after the first time but after the second time I realized why the corrections disappeared. Lucy does want her clients to walk out happy but doesn't realize fixing something with one quick stroke doesn't quite do the job. My experience might be completely different from others as when I was there she was complaining of her eye twitching for a few days so she might have overlooked something she would normally not. Nonetheless, charging a customer for her mistake is not right. She already charges a lot and didn't deliver on the full service which I paid for. Also, now after my experience and seeing other healed eyebrows, I will tell you that Micro-blading technique is better than the machine. Micro-blading heals better. The strokes look more fine and concise and natural. The movement of the machine causes the strokes to heal less clean and fine. Please reach out to true teachers that do not do this for a living to get an unbiased opinion. Again, everyone's preferences are different. My ideal outcome was thin fine strokes that look very natural. The way my eyebrows healed is not how I pictured. Although the pictures I took after the touch-up look great. The strokes are thick which make them look more tattooed than the natural look I wanted. read more

To start off I want to say Lucy is an amazing person and a great artist! She's so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. The reason I'm making this review is for the people who are unsure about their eyebrows and are thinking of the 3D feather tattoo. I personally do not like my eyebrows for the reason that the tattoo is very noticeable and doesn't match my eyebrow hair. I would say if you have a fuller brow already and are looking to just wake up and not fill in your eyebrows like I was going for this probably isn't for you then :( I still have to wake up and actually spend more time on my eyebrows now because I have to over fill where the tattoo is at because it's very noticeable and doesn't blend with my hair. I would say 3D feather brows are perfect for people who have very little to no every row hair because then it's pretty much just the strokes tattooed and you don't have to worry about your hair not blending well with the tattoo. Unfortunately I will be looking into tattoo removal because I'm not happy with my brows :( I give 3 stars because Lucy is a sweet person and does a nice job but I recommend it to only some people not for all who have a fuller brow like me. Before you knock the idea of tattoo eyebrows (because we've all seen those permanent marker eyebrows) hear me out. I've been getting my eyebrows done by Lucy for over a decade. I won't let anyone pluck my eyebrows other than her, and if that means walking around with a bush on my face, so be it! Lucy has been doing this for such a long time, she knows exactly what facial shape matches with a natural brow shape. When she started doing this tattoo thing, I was totally against it, but she sold me on the "feather technique." For the faint of heart, this is the best option so you don't have to wake up every morning and fill in those damn brows. You just get up and go. Lucy convinced me to just get my eyebrows filled with the ink and she was totally right. It really added a whole new dimension. It looked natural, almost as if I hadn't done anything at all. An absolute master of her art!!! I am so in love with my brows. I wish I had done this years ago. I was so nervous, but Lucy instantly put my nerves at ease, as I could tell she was very passionate about what she does. She took almost a half hour just filling in my eyebrows with pencil to perfect that shape and be sure we were on the same page of what I was looking to achieve, I liked this a lot! The first round faded a lot, but after the second touch up appointment it looks perfect so far! The best decision I ever made. I was hesitant on yelping because i'm selfish that i don't want everyone to have on point eyebrows like me. But, I love Lucy and the work she does. It takes ALOT of skills to do what she does, and I absolutely admire the her passion. I also think that everyone deserves to have beautiful eyebrows. So, here is my experience: My story: I over plucked it when I was younger, so I had bald spots and some places that did not grow hair. I used to take like 20 mins to do my eyebrows 10 mins on each side because my eyebrows were...sparse, and I could never get them to be "on fleek" like everyone on instagram. I used the dip brow and i had to draw in each hair...and the color on my eyebrows were a weird grayish color. First Impression: Lucy is super nice and is so pretty. (I was in awe when I first saw her lol) I love that she took her time with my eyebrows. She is super patient, and i love that she really made sure that she checked to make sure they were perfect. She will not let you leave with bad eyebrows, trust me. Experience: It definitely hurt for me because I cannot tolerate pain and i'm scared of needles lol. But, Lucy made sure I was comfortable and put more numbing on so that really helped. I just kept thinking how amazing my eyebrows would look after it was done. Ending result: I love LOVE LOVE it. Everyone has a different experience but mine was amazing. Please don't expect yourself to have the sAme experience as me as you should know everyone has different skin types and I will tell you my skin is stubborn. I have a very oily skin and the ink was not wanting to settle. Lucy kept taking her time to ensure the ink stayed. She did say a second session is needed which is the re-touch and comes with the price. I just went for my second session and i felt that after my first session my eyes brows settled and they felt natural people didn't realize i had tattooed them which was amazing. Now on my second session, still stubborn skin she took a bit longer than needed because of my skin type we are only booked for an hour on the retouch and she doesn't rush, she takes her time! I have been following Lucy Hart on Instagram, I always watch the videos Lucy posts and review the photos of clients. I noticed Ana's recent worked came up and I was like WOW I would go this week and get mine done if she was available. Well...Ana respond pretty fast to me and we spoke about seeing if I was a good candidate. I live in Las Vegas so wanted to make sure before. I sent her a picture of my brows and we booked for Thursday 7/9 at 12pm. They send you all of the instructions of what to do before and where to park. I arrived to the salon and was greeted. They have a bunch of COVID-19 precautions, they take your temperature, have face masks, face shields, gloves and plastic liners on the chairs. First they get you numbed up for 30 mins while you complete your paperwork. Next Ana gets to work measuring. This took a bit but that's what you want, you want them to make sure it's lined up well with your face. After that she started and time went by pretty fast. Ana was great at letting you know how it was going and what she was doing. Ana did take before and after photos and booked my touch up appt (which is included in the price). They make sure you have the ointment for the after care and the instructions on how to care for them. Once healed I will posted before and after photos. They look so natural to my face. I had blonde hair which you couldn't see or missing in sections. Just so excited to not have to spend time doing them. I feel like it was always the longest process for me when doing my make up. After many years of deliberations about microblading and following Kathy Hart on Instagram I decided to book an appointment with her for microblading. I was extremely nervous at first since it was my first tattoo and specially on my face I was convinced to Book with her. Let me start by saying the studio is super beautiful with the most amazing decor. Super professional and clean. She numbed me for about 25 Minutes and while numbing the process was explained to me by Kathy herself. She is super knowledgeable and very sweet. She literally made me feel at ease with the whole process. After she explained the process and after care, she mapped out my eyebrows with the symmetry of my face and went into details of the color of the pigment. The process took about 3 hour, after about 1 hour I stated feeling a little pain which wasn't so bad but she number me again and wow I didnt feel anything. My eyebrows came out amazing. I have heeled now and has been about 4 weeks and I can say Kathy gave me the eyebrows I have dreamt of since I was 15 years old. It looks natural, which is why I loved her work in the first place and looks amazing. Coming from a person who has been insecure about her looks I feel pretty and complete. I'm so grateful for Kathy. My mom and 2 cousins traveled 2 hours from San Diego to get their brows feathered. My mom had to book 3 months in advance and couldn't wait. At first I had my concerns with the idea of eyebrow tattooing but Lucy explained every single step so clearly and made me feel very comfortable during the entire procedure.
