Lucy's fruits is located off El Camino and Scott near the 76 gas station. it's a green truck you can't miss it! my coworkers and i decided on coming here for lunch and we are glad we did. the elote ($6) in a cup or stick was delicious. i bet when it's corn season it'll be even sweeter. the small fruit cup ($6) was delicious as well. you get to select what you want in your cup and they'll add tajin, chamoy, and kim juice. the choices are cucumbers, mango, pineapple, watermelon, coconut, papaya, and honeydew. we also order a tostilocos which was pretty darn delicious. we will probably be back for sure! read more

I'd been planning to create a Yelp for this business since I checked a few weeks ago and noticed they weren't on here, but it looks like the lady below me already beat me to it. Great job! I work out at the nearby Villa Sports Club gym at least 3x/week and always make my way to Lucy's afterwards. It's my special workout treat that I look forward to 3x/wk. The truck is always parked at the Berryessa/Capitol Chevron gas station right behind Denny's. Lucy says she's parked until around 6pm on weekdays, and sometimes she shows up on the weekends depending on the weather, mainly Saturdays. There was one day it was pouring rain n gloomy, and she was still there! And I was crazy enough to stop by and get my weekly dose of fruits! She also says it's cash only for now. I usually get the small fruit cup for $4 with only Tajin and you get to pick your choice of fruit from the list. If you want everything on the fruits, it's lime juice, Tajin, and chili sauce. The large is $6, which is not bad, considering Safeway across the street charges a lot more for a smaller quantity of fruit. You def get more bang for your buck with Lucy. I usually change it up with mango/pineapple/watermelon, sometimes just mango/pineapple, but one time I got pineapple/mango/coconut combo and I didn't like the coconut at all. It was very firm and flavorless, I had to throw most of the coconut away because it was inedible. Being from East Side San Jo, I love elote, so I tried her elote once. It was very good and only $3 with your choice of toppings. I got it with butter/mayo/sour cream, parmesan, and Tajin. You can definitely get it with lime and chili sauce as well just like other corn carts. One day I will try her tamales. Lucy is very friendly and always greets me with a smile. One time, she even gave me a little extra container of Tajin! I always post pics of what I get on my Snapchat, and I always have friends asking where I got it from. I've already recommended Lucy to some friends. I will continue to support this local small business because it's convenient, close to home, and I love the products! read more

I'm so delighted to see a local mom & pop food truck business centralized in the new Berryessa Capitol Chevron, and I am 100% happy to support them! They just opened up ~8 weeks ago, according to the owner(?) who I was speaking to at the order window. He was incredibly nice in explaining their items to me (they have MORE than just fruits!! who would've known :)) and I enjoyed my fruits w/ lemon & tajin sooo much I even forgot to take a picture of it.... I know, bad yelper, bad! :p In all seriousness, it was a delicious combination of watermelon, canatloupe, honeydew, mango, pineapple, papaya, orange, cucumber, coconut, & jicama. I believe it was $4 for a small container and $6 for a larger container (+$1 if you want all mango), but I think it was totally worth it!! In my future visits I'll definitely just get a few select fruits (you can tell them what you like and don't like), but glad that for my first time I got to taste it all... drooling thinking about the watermelon and tartness w/ the limon & tajin seasoning now, YUM. At this location, they also have licuados, aguas frescas, corn (elots), tamales(?!?say whaaat?!) and tostilocos. How incredible to have such variety from a modest food truck! My wife and I have been loyal clients to Lucy's fruits since she parked her fruit truck on Berryessa and Capitol in San Jose. Now she is located on Lawrence expressway in Sunnyvale. I work nearby and it is very convenient for me to stop by for a loaded cup of elote and a large mango agua fresca. The prices are really reasonable and the service from Lucy's fruits is quick and very friendly. I would recommend trying her Mangoniada and elotes preparados. They have a large selection of fruits and they put everything inside without skimping anyone out. They have small and large cups. We passed by the colorful truck today, and we're so happy we stopped! This is my new addiction. Its relatively healthy, fruit is very fresh and sweet. I love their variety of fruit. Staff (possibly owners) are super nice and attentive. Pricing is fair considering food is super expensive right now, and they don't skip out! We got the mangonada, papaya smoothie, horchata, and corn bowl. Mangonada is all fresh mango smoothie topped with mango and chamoy + Tamarindo chamoy stick, which was delicious. My mom and niece really enjoyed the papaya smoothie. Corn bowl was awesome! The horchata stood out to us most. Ok so ive been here and the fruit is great however i don't know what is going on with this stand but ive come to purchase fruit twice and on a week day and this fruit truck isn't at the location it says its gonna be,at first few times ive gone the fruit was do delicious and on point but lately idk if its the time of year or something but fruit isn't as good,I definitely love the corn in the cup with the fixings,to be fair try the bionico it's definitely worth trying,or the mangonada is my favorite..this is only a fruit truck so if you want tacos or something go to another spot i have reviewed (tacos noa noa)lol but for fruit treat give this truck a chance ,its a hit n miss on the fruit however it is about 75% good on other items on a side note though dont try to call bc she rarely answers if not never answers just to see if she is at the same location..give it a try its worth it at times when the fruit is on point..thank you read more

Lucy is amazing!! The first time I came here, i inquired about her prices and what she has to offer and everything here is affordable!! I have ordered the small and large fruit cups, elotes, tamales and their banana drinks. The fruit cups are literally fresh and better than the ones at the mall. You dont have a limit of choices, you can order as many fruits as you like for both large and small. She also offers tajin and lime juice for it as well. Everything here is pretty much customizable. The elotes come either as on a stick or in a cup. They were pretty good! The banana drinks weren't to my liking but that's ok. There's other options. Tamales are good too!
