Disappointed in the quality of food. We were really excited to try this place - we ordered two polish dogs with different toppings, Brussel sprouts, and a corn dog. The polish dogs weren't warm and the toppings were over done. They were also on the smaller side. We would have much rather paid $1.50 for a hot dog and drink at a Costco. The corn dog was only okay - nothing like the fresh dipped corn dogs you get from a fair. They were more like a previously frozen, reheated corn dogs. The Brussel sprouts were almost burnt. For a place that only does hotdogs, you'd think they would do them well - disappointed to say that's not the case. The positives - the atmosphere is nice and it looks like a fun place to hang out with a group of people. read more

Awesome hot dogs, milkshakes and tater tots all with a surf and skate inspired theme.

Went on a Sunday at 5:30pm and there was a good crowd. Cashier and servers were all nice. Ordered: Ghost tree, Grom, Asilomar, Cliff, and hibiscus tea. Hot dogs were a good size, served on soft sesame buns. My son said homemade chili was a little sweet. The batter coating on the Grom (corn dog) was good, hibiscus tea isn't sweetened. The novelty are the fixing combinations but they were just ok tasting. Outside seating has a cool festive vibe with music playing but not a lot of seating available. Since street parking was fairly easy, they should consider shutting down more of their parking lot to make the outdoor seating area larger with more tables. We were kind of disappointed thinking we'd have to take our order home but then a table became available. We'd go back to try the ice cream because it seems like a cool place but probably not make the trip just for the hot dogs. Being residents the price is what we expect it to be. read more

Disappointed that they got one of my orders wrong. Originally asked for a Spanish Bay with no onions for my daughter. Got home and my daughter says there are onions and come to realize the ingredients were completely wrong. Called and spoke to a Sierra. I know the staff is pretty young and she could've been a little more service oriented vs. "oh really?" response. Here explanation was, "it just have gotten mixed woth someone elThere was no offer to come back so they can redo the order, or a refund, etc... spent $58.19 on 3 hotdogs and a side. I don't even like hot dogs that much but we vacationed across the street for the weekend and went back THREE times!!! It was DELICIOUS!! The first night we just asked the owner to order us whatever she liked. She recommended the Peaks dog, a chilli dog, tater tots and Brussels sprouts. All amazing. The kids loved the corn dogs. Went back for Mac and cheese, some nacho tater tots and mermaid mimosas and we were NOT disappointed! Went back for dinner for much of the same and can't wait to come back. Definitely a must on our list whenever we visit Pacific Grove now. I'm yelping so I can remember all the deliciousness we got!!! Not terrible, not great, just OK. The hot dog menu looks large at first glance, but they actually only offer two hot dogs --- a regular Nathan's hot dog, and a Polish dog. They vary the condiments and fixin's that go with those 2 hot dogs, and that's why the menu looks large. If they offered a wider variety of hot dogs and sausages, like Top Dog does, they would do a booming business. A real Louisiana Hot Link would be a big seller. read more

This place is a must for gourmet hot dogs. The staff is super friendly the hotdogs are delicious and the decor is very fun surf and skate board themed. They have so many choices have fun hotdog creations or you could build your own however you'd like! They have loaded tater tots and their fried brussels sprouts are out of this world toppedwith home made balsalmic reduction. They also have live music with very fun local bands in their outdoor beer garden. You must check this place out! read more

I was so excited to see that Lucy's on Lighthouse carries Marianne's ice cream but so disappointed by the service we received from the girl behind the counter. She was rude. Hopefully she was just having a rough day because Lucy's is so cute. Please change the root beer as it was bland and not sweet in the root beer float. read more

We try to support local businesses whenever possible, but the food here was just terrible. We ordered the O road and the tots. Both items were just room temp and both were salty. Really expected more from this place as they are new. Not worth it. The hotdogs you make at home will be better. read more

I have been and am very excited for the opening of Lucy's. Finally checked it out on a Sunday afternoon. Cold and foggy day...no surprise there. Now for the food review. I was so excited to try the tots out. I tried out the grind. After reading prior reviews I meant to request it come out hot (Which we shouldn't have to) but other reviews noted getting cold food. I didn't request hot and unfortunately it came out cold. Not just cold but the nacho cheese sauce was chilled. Ugh Couldn't eat it all. Had a corn dog that did come out hot. Enjoyed a mud pie sundae which was great of course. I was happy that was cold! It was pretty busy. Tables outside were not cleaned and we asked the server to please clean our table. There was only 1 server. In her defense she couldn't do it all. So all that being said... Recommendation is to make sure food is coming out hot and to have enough staff to cover serving food as well as making sure tables are cleaned and sanitized. We are looking forward to going back and supporting this fun place. PS: The decor is totally awesome with surf and skate themed items. read more

I've been looking for a hot dog joint for a long time here on the peninsula and was excited to try this place out since it's right down the street. I got a chili dog, bun was soggy (should have been toasted), hot dog was boiled, would of been better to toss on the grill for flavor and the chili was nothing to talk about. For the price I expected more. Ordered the tots and they were good. Daughter had a corn dog, but it looked like it was pre packaged. We were so glad we stopped by Lucy's. The menu is incredible and you can make your own hot dog creations using any of the ingredients they have. So glad that PG finally got a fun hang-out spot. Regardless of your age, there is something there for everyone. Great for families, kids, teens, locals and visitors. I now crave the cinnamon chocolate milkshake on a weekly basis and LOVE that I can indulge in some loaded tots. My son loves the atmosphere, music and all the pics on the wall. Lucy's is so amazing!! We have never been let down. We got there a few minutes before they opened and were welcomed with a smile. They invited us in as soon as they finished opening. Our group ordered a few different menu items and they let me add pulled pork to my chili mac! While the vibe of the restaurant is so chill and the service is so exceptional, the unique and tasty food is the best part I would definitely say this is my favorite local spot to grab a bite.
