You guys!! Lugg. Is. Legit. Andrew and Osbaldo were the best movers I've ever had - they SAVED ME today! I was supposed to be out of my apartment yesterday and I hired a moving company, to help me both pack and move, it was three dudes. After we had packed up and loaded the biggest items, they told me it would be better to just finish up the smaller items myself and it would save me money and wouldn't take long... that was at 7 pm, cut to: 8am-- I haven't slept, I've been packing all night, ( i really needed the packing help which was why I got three guys and packing services ) im starting to panic because my lease was up, I'm supposed to be out, I'm too tired to work efficiently and too exhausted to even think about hauling everything to my car. I found lugg. The app itself is AWESOME. Love the UI, could not be simpler or easier to just get what you're looking for immediately. It's amazing that you can get movers to come in 30 minutes. What?! And it's even more amazing-er, that even after you book, you can push your time to later if you aren't ready. Andrew and Osbaldo went above and beyond. Osbaldo is my number one for sure!! Since my brain wasn't working (from no sleep) Osbaldo did all the thinking for me. He also insisted on cleaning up the coffee creamer trail I discovered behind me on way to the trash and he lugged my actual trash (see what I did there?) and stuff I was getting rid of. He made a point of making sure we reached the goal of getting me totally out of the apartment, including helping me look for a key I dropped on my way to return my keys. Yeah. I recently had a deeply disappointing and infuriating experience with Lugg, and I feel compelled to warn others about their misleading practices and poor customer service. I used Lugg for a simple junk removal task, and the app suggested a dump location for the removal. When the Lugg workers arrived at the location, it turned out the site did not accept the items. Despite the app providing this recommendation, Lugg charged me $157.14 for labor at the destination--a destination they suggested but failed to verify. This is not just a mistake; it's outright misleading and unethical. Lugg's response to my complaint was equally unacceptable. They falsely claimed they do not recommend dumps, recycling centers, or donation centers to customers. However, this directly contradicts their advertised services on their own website, which clearly includes junk removal (https://lugg.com/junk-removal). This misleading guidance cost me time and money, and their attempt to pass the blame onto the customer is appalling. When I asked for the charges to be reversed, Lugg refused to take responsibility, suggesting that customers should call ahead to verify locations. This is a ridiculous expectation, given that their app should provide accurate information. Charging customers by the minute for unnecessary travel time caused by Lugg's own error is both unfair and exploitative. I strongly advise against using Lugg. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I booked a simple move across the street -- just a couch, a table, and a few boxes. I was quoted for about 90 minutes of labor, and the movers themselves told me I'd be charged for around two hours. Instead, I was billed for over five hours of labor, even though the entire move took roughly two hours and several of my items weren't even moved because the crew wasn't equipped to handle them. When I contacted customer support, they admitted to having incorrect timestamps, yet still insisted that their "GPS labor tracking" justified charging over five hours for two short trips across the street. Despite multiple messages and explanations, the best they offered was a small partial refund -- far less than what I was overcharged. This experience has been disheartening and feels like a scam. A company that charges by the minute should be transparent and fair, not rely on questionable tracking data to inflate costs. Save yourself the stress -- do not use Lugg! read more

I decided to leave a review bc there isn't much out there between all of the different providers. I chose Lugg bc they had better reviews than competitors. I needed to pick up a couch 30 miles from my home that I bought from FB Marketplace (LA to the 909). I cautiously booked Lugg and had my fingers crossed it would work out. I can handle issues on my end but hate inconveniencing others and was very nervous my seller would have a bad experience. Carlos and Enrique showed up timely and even wrapped the piece I purchased. Honestly, I was super skeptical of this service and thought for sure something was going to go amiss just because of different reviews I've read throughout all the different companies, but I had no issues with Carlos and Enrique, they provided white glove service, and even wrapped my piece!! I'm sure it all depends on who you get but I could not have been happier with Carlos and Enrique. Although the cost was a bit steep, I would consider using this service again. read more

I had a fantastic and positive experience with Lugg and Alfonso and Sebastian. I was hesitant to use Lugg looking at so many negative reviews. I booked on Sunday and asked my items to be picked up within an hour from a furniture store in Van Nuys and delivered to Pasadena. I received immediate text confirmation and was able to track the drivers. They called me to confirm pickup address and status said 45 min drive till delivery. They arrived at exact time and phoned me on arrival. The items were packed carefully in the van and they showed me. Both guys were friendly, efficient, and I watched them handle my items with care, even using caution as they got into the elevator with 3 items. Unloading into my place took 15 min. They thanked me and were on their way. I'm so pleased with my first experience using Lugg (I booked through website not app), the clear communication of when drivers arrived at furniture store and then were on their way to my place. This evening Jeff and Wesley delivered a dresser, that was very large, heavy and certainly expensive. I've used Lugg a number of times and they really are the best. However, Jeff and Wesley provided even better service than I experienced in the past. They were polite, and took their time, paying attention to each and every single detail. Not to mention the narrow staircase and the unbelievably heavy dresser- well over 300 pounds. I was impressed with their professionalism and eagerness to delivery the piece and place it in its proper location without any question. And that they did and after bringing the dresser up they asked if there was anything else I needed to move. I was really impressed, they moved a horrifically heavy dresser AND asked if they could help with anything else, not just run out the door as fast as they could. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!! They will steal your money!!! I used their services to donate a bed. They came to my apartment, bed was already disassembled and parking space was reserved in my condo for them. They spent max 15 mins at my place picking up the items. I was there and service elevator was available for them pretty quickly. So literally, no issues to pickup the bed. I even gave the guys a tip in cash at that time. My surprise was when I received the charges. They added in the app that they spent 78mins picking up my bed and other 35 dropping it!!!! How is that possible???? Lugg charged me $327 usd for this simple thing!!! Other companies were charging me a max of $180!!!! I regret using them. Stay away from this company! Recently purchased a glider and ottoman from the Restoration Hardware Outlet and used Lugg for the 1st time to bring it to my residence since it wouldn't fit in my car. I was hesitant at 1st but am now a fan! Carrington and Elias were AMAZING to work with you! From the moment I requested the pick-up, they kept me updated via text on where they were and how long it would take to get to my house. They took great care of my purchase and even asked if they should remove their shoes before entering - it was truly a white glove service! They even carried it to my bedroom, removed the wrap, and cleaned up before they left. They are both absolute professionals, very kind, and helpful! Used Lugg for the first time to move a refrigerator I bought from a neighbor. Anthony and Carrington showed up right on time and assessed the move. They had blankets and stretch wrap for the refrigerator and moved it out of the house and onto the truck. They told me exactly what they were doing and asked for my approval before doing anything. They went to my house and moved the existing fridge out of the kitchen, and moved the new fridge in. It took a bit of work because of some stairs, but they definitely worked hard and were very careful to avoid any drywall and other damage. It was a difficult job, and I'm very glad they were available to do the job. It would have cost me a lot more to get movers for this. I thought Lugg would be a one-time thing for this move, but after the extremely positive experience with Anthony and Carrington, I am keeping Lugg on my phone for future moves! read more

I should start off by saying that I have written maybe two reviews on Yelp in total. However, after using Lugg for the first time yesterday, I thought I have to let others know about this amazing service. Juan and Adrian picked up 7 large pieces of furniture I had just purchased from HD Buttercup. They were at my home with the furniture in about an hour from when I first contacted them through the app ... on a Sunday afternoon, no less! They also helped me assemble a bed that was very challenging, as well as continued to move the furniture around until I could decide exactly where it should end up. They were friendly, professional, and very positive ... a great experience!! I used to rent a van or truck to move furniture, etc, myself ... I run an Airbnb and I am always having to replace furniture. I'm in Malibu and have lots of stairs. Having furniture delivered is a F@@*%%^ NIGHTMARE!!!!!! All the delivery refuse to take the furniture into my home. I'm 110 pounds and can no way lift a couch into my home. Then I found LUGG!!! Thank you Thomas as Living Spaces!!! OMG!!! I had to by a couch as my guest broke mine in half. My new guest didn't have a couch and I needed it delivered right away. Thomas Suggested LUGG because he couldn't deliver for 5 days. I used Lugg for the first time last week to have new furniture items purchased from a store delivered to my new apartment. I really appreciated the text updates notifying me of key points within the delivery so I can plan my availability accordingly. Carrington and Anthony were assigned for this job and they both were very professional, courteous and efficient throughout the whole process. They arrived on time and even assembled the legs to my dining chairs and sofa, along with taking the boxes out to the dumpster. They had all the necessary tools handy which helped me out tremendously as I didn't have what was needed to assemble the furniture legs. This was my first time using this app and service. The men who came to the door where named William and Garrett, two very fine men, Patriots and members of the United States Navy. They were highly professional and most gracious and generous and efficient. Unless you're driving a truck around town and you buy furniture you're usually stuck with waiting for weeks of delivery from the stores themselves but the World Market has Flyers at their store suggesting that the customers use this new service and I was very happy to. The price was under $100 and it's way cheaper than renting a truck for the day. I was able to go to the store and two hours later be able to enjoy my new furniture. Today Sunday 11/07/21 is the first time I tried the service and it will be my last. They totally mislead me and my wife in thinking they would move our upright piano locally in town to another home. We requested the move on their website. Funny thing it doesn't say anything about heavy loads or pianos NOT acceptable to move. The driver called me just prior to getting to my home and said I see you have a piano. He said we do NOT move pianos and R N equipped to move them. Why the Fu_ _ did you not tell me the day before and instead wasted my time Saturday by time I called you all. NO way to contact customer service on their web page or a phone. Morgan and Marcio were AMAZING!!! They arrived way earlier than the estimated time and helped me move two sofas, a big dining table, and a marble top desk. All those pieces were so heavy but they wrapped each of them around very safely with blankets and moved them into my place amazingly...They even dissembled legs for the heavy and bulky table and desk when they did not fit into the van. The sofa was too big when they brought it to my apartment. They had to move it through the stairs and tried several time by twisting the angles of this heavy sofa to finally bring in to my living room!!! They were so smart!!!! I heard of Lugg through World Market Cost Plus. This was my first time using them. It dawned on me last minute that we had not paid our purchase in full and still owed a balance. No big deal except that Lugg had already arrived to pick up our merchandise. It took an extra 45 minutes for us to get the payment cleared away and during that time Frank and Jeff could not have been more patient, kind and understanding. They worked with us to get everything to our house as fast as possible. When they got here they were very efficient. I would recommend Lugg to whoever doesn't want to go through the hassle of picking up large pieces of furniture and hopefully you'll get these guys to deliver :) Worth every penny! read more
