**Extremely Disappointed -- Wouldn't Recommend** I used Orda Moving on June 27th and unfortunately had a terrible experience, despite being a returning customer. I had booked the move two weeks in advance and confirmed everything with Jake K., including start time, wardrobe boxes, and specific details like leaving clothes in my dresser. The morning of the move, the crew was over FIVE HOURS LATE -- I had to follow up twice just to get updates. At first, I was told they'd be there at 11 a.m., then 12:30-1 p.m., and they finally arrived at 2:45 p.m. I was later told this was because there were no trucks available, which makes me question how a moving company accepts a confirmed job without basic resources. The two movers who arrived were very young, clearly inexperienced, and completely unprofessional. There was a major language barrier, they didn't understand or follow basic requests, and I had to repeatedly remind them about things that were already in my original request -- like unmounting TVs and bringing in wardrobe boxes. When they did bring the boxes, they came without the hanging bars, and I was told the warehouse "ran out of materials." So I had to individually rehang all my clothes *while paying by the hour.* The movers also: * Took an hour-long break to go eat (after saying it would be 15-20 minutes) * Used my personal chargers -- one even dug into a packed box to find one * Taped boxes sloppily and stacked fragile items poorly * Asked inappropriate questions about personal belongings * Left scuff marks on my walls and floors * Tried to charge extra for my dresser, even though I had cleared that with Jake ahead of time * Seemed surprised/frustrated that my new place had stairs -- even though it was in my original move request To top it off, they didn't provide a breakdown of charges or have me sign anything before or after the move, which they had done on my previous moves. They initially tried to charge me $881 for 6+ hours of inefficient, unprofessional service, even though I had scheduled a 9 a.m. move to avoid traffic and parking issues -- which we ended up dealing with anyway, at 7 p.m. on a Friday. I had to argue for a discount and was told I was getting $131 off, but even that felt like a slap in the face. Someone from operations that I eventually got on the phone told me I had picked a "busy time of the month and week" -- as if they hadn't accepted my booking and confirmed it weeks prior. This experience was frustrating, exhausting, and totally unprofessional. I've used Orda before with better results, but this time was unacceptable. Poor communication, poor planning, and completely underqualified movers. I won't be using them again -- and I'd caution anyone else considering them to think twice. read more

Had reserved 3 movers, but 1 showed up over 40 mins late. Yet still was charged for 3 movers for that hour. One of the movers broke my mirror, and clearly knew he broke it as he was trying to inspect it through the bubble wrap, yet didn't say anything. It took our prior movers 5 hours to get me out and into the new place. Yet it took 8+ hours for Orda movers. I was only at my place for 1 year so I didn't add on much. Took the mover so much time disassemble/assemble my furniture. Not sure that they have too much experience in that. Unfortunately, I won't be a returning customer, and cannot recommend to any friends. Editing review -- Jake, the manager personally reached out to me regarding the service they provided. Nate, Islam, and Sanat (the movers) were great. They were very sweet and did a good job of handling all our boxes with care while loading and unloading. The one thing I will note is that although it is stated on the Yelp page and notes page, it does not say it on the contract that you will be charged an additional gas fee on top of the fee for driving over 10 miles one way. When brought to the attention of the manager he was not remorseful nor empathetic to the fact that it was not mentioned on the contract. We were not trying to get out of paying it, it just seems like a hidden fee and was subtly written everywhere else but the contract. An apology would have been appreciated at the least. read more

They took forever and they damaged several things including a huge painting (broke the glass), broke my daughter's desk (they stacked things on top of the unsupported side and it completely broke it), damaged the flooring at my new place. I reached out to the business and they gave me a credit for some of the damage after some negotiation, but really the job shouldn't have taken as long as it did, and the credit really didn't make me whole. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I recently relocated to Montana with my family of six and entrusted this company with our cross-country move. I was told delivery would take no more than 14 business days. It has now been over 16 business days, and we still do not have our belongings. Not only has our shipment not arrived, but the lack of communication has been appalling. Since the truck picked up our things, we have received zero proactive updates. I've had to call them every 2-3 days, just trying to get basic information. Only then did I find out, after the fact, that the original driver "fell through" -- no notice, no apology, just silence unless I chased them down. My entire family has been living out of suitcases for weeks. Our beds, kitchen supplies, children's belongings -- all held hostage with no end in sight. This has had a serious impact on our daily lives and well-being. I understand delays happen. But what is completely unacceptable is the total disregard for customers once they have your money and your possessions. A professional company should communicate clearly and promptly, especially when there's a delay. We've received none of that. If you value your time, peace of mind, or the basic expectation that a moving company should deliver your belongings within the timeframe they promised, look elsewhere. Wow! 4 guy crew hauled took extra care to wrap everything, kept all the components organized, and put everything together. I give 10/10 and immediately booked them for several days later to move my other unit! Very efficient team I'd highly recommend doing the 4 man crew because it gives a significant partner for all men and on very heavy/awkward objects they are easily capable of maneuvering around. They went above and beyond in every way I'm saving the number for any future move anywhere.
