Sign says, "BEST BERRIA TACOS IN TOWN!" So I tried them. The flavor was a 5 out of a 10, But the tacos were soft and rolled up. They were soggy, and I could not pick them up to dip in the juice. They definitely were NOT THE BEST BERRIA TAVOS IN TOWN. I was embarrassed myself for them, should not advertise that if they were not even close.. So we tried this place tonight. OMG just NO! First off my husband waited and waited for service. Guy at the counter literally was talking to another employee, and didn't even bother to acknowledge him. They were out of pulled pork, so we got a tri tip sandwich to share. I decided to give this place a try. I tried the birria tacos and the asada place. The birria tacos were actually good. Then the asada fries were not that good. I think they would taste better without the nacho cheese because it over powers the flavor of the asada, and made them soggy. Overall, I think both items were over priced. I ordered 2 tacos and carne asada fries for $29. The meat was flavorful. I think this place is just slightly over priced for what it is and in comparison to other Mexican food in town. Stopped by for the first time for a to go order and will definitely be back. At first I thought it was pricey for 4 beef ribs with 2 large sides for $36.99 but they were huge Flinstone beef short ribs that were cooked perfectly. Also got a full chicken and a full order of pork ribs. Ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious even without the BBQ sauce, we got it on the side. Also ordered the Birria Ramen that came with 2 queso birria tacos, the kids had those as well and were very happy. Chicken was tender and juicy, I was afraid it would be dry but it was great. Spicy beans, Mac salad, coleslaw and mashed potatoes were our sides. The potatoes came cold so we weren't sure if it was meant to be a potato salad or what because it was more of a smash than a mash. Either way it was really delicious, maybe could use some salt but that's just my preference. I think it's a family run operation, everyone was so nice and our order was checked twice to make sure it was right. It's really laid back, I wouldn't mind going back and sitting on the patio with a cold beer and trying more of the Mexican fare. Also, I'm not believing for one second the one star review that someone was allergic to an ingredient, was served it twice and she just "dealt with it" because they didn't care. Very odd, we walked up and there were two people standing outside by what looked like a setup to make food outside. The restaurant door was open but the lights were off and seemed desolate and like they were out of business. The two people said nothing to us like "hey we're closed" or "only taking orders outside" so I turned around after they watched me walk into the obviously closed restaurant and asked "are you closed" and they said "yes, sorry". DO NOT COME IF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS. THEY DO NOT CARE. They have me something I explicitly said NO to many times. Very upset. I ordered a burrito with NO RICE to which I got a burrito with mainly rice. I sent it back and once again said no rice as i'm allergic. Got the burrito for the second time full of rice. They messed up my order completely and the only thing they got right was putting steak in the burrito. However, I was going to deal with it besides the fact that both burritos had something I am allergic to. I was very clear about no rice and said it MANY times. Wanted to try a local restaurant that we haven't tried before. Pulled in to an empty parking lot and decided to give it a shot anyways. I figured they could use the business AND I want to see them succeed. We were the only ones in the place. I'm usually not sensitive to sounds but I'm extra aware because my mom wears a hearing aide and background noise always makes it more difficult to hear and hold a conversation. The music was loud and loud blender/grinder or some loud machinery was annoying. We ordered our food from the counter and went and found a seat ourselves. My mom is vegan so decided to ordered garlic fries. My dad ordered chicken wings. I ordered a tri-tip sandwich. Our order came and everything tasted fine. The garlic fries were nothing exciting and looked like somebody plopped a quarter teaspoon of jarred garlic onto them (see pic). They brought my dad his chicken wings in a to go container (even though we were dining in). When the waitress brought his meal to the table, he asked if he could get some napkins. She basically pointed to the counter and said that the napkins and any utensils are all up here and walked away. As she was walking away, I asked, " do we need to get them ourselves?" And she said yes. Reminder this is a new business, we are a new customers, we are the ONLY customers in the restaurant. She couldn't grab a couple napkins and bring them to our table which was 5 ft away? As I walked to the counter to get my own napkins I asked her " you always serve your food in to-go containers even though we're dining here?" Her response was " no we don't. We just made a mistake with the order." Everyone's entitled to make mistakes not a big deal at all but If you realized it before you brought it to the table, maybe you should've transferred them to a plate. You got a second opportunity when I brought it to your attention, to apologize and ask can I grab you a plate? Came in to their "grand opening " the was a steady flow of people. Hospitality was great we were greated as we walked to counter. Food was "ok". I purchased a sandwich and a half rack of ribs, both meats were very dry and needed a bit more seasoning. The BBQ sauce was very bland. All the meat was completely dry, and the beef was full of gristle. The chicken seemed to have sat in a hotel pan in a window getting dried out under a heat lamp for sometime. It was literally like eating jerky. The barbecue chicken was not barbecue chicken, it was literally grilled chicken with no sauce or rub just the salty flavor of being brined for a couple days. Also the "half "chicken was a thigh, a leg, a wing and a quarter of a breast that was cut up so it wasn't even a whole half chicken. The chicken that came in the Mexican food was completely flavorless and incredibly dried out as well. Most of the beef in the tacos was completely inedible. The service was friendly and they wanted to accommodate special order I asked for a bbq beef sando and they didn't know how to make one. I told him bbq beef and sauce on a soft roll add coleslaw. The sando was just ok, there wasn't enough meat for the price,$15 plus tax and the beef was dry overcooked tri-tip so it was a bit tough and there was a void at each end with no meat or toppings. I suggest to the owners search some good bbq sandwiches recipes and try them out instead of just doing burritos and deli style sandos. read more

I took my family for lunch the third week of December. I ordered the chicken sandwich my daughter ordered the tri tip sandwich and my son a beef quesadilla. My little guy who's five and I got very sick. My son and I went to eat there with an empty stomach. Right after we ate there we had upset stomach and vomiting. Great service! Large portions and very flavorful! I got a very large and fully loaded sandwich for a great price. The beef ribs were big, juicy and falling off of the bone. The bbq sauces were tasty. There is a variety of side option and very large portions. We also tried the burria tacos which were very flavorful, crunchy and juicy at the same time!
