Lilly's coffee house is located in the heart of the little town of Cambria and the perfect spot to fuel up on coffee and a light meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very quaint with a perfect amount of small town charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating, perfect for catching up with loved ones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered off the seasonal menu which was just perfect as I was in a pumpkin spice mood, and I split a blackberry bacon grilled cheese with my mom for a snack. It was very unique and flavorful. The staff are always very friendly and helpful which is great when I am stumped on what to get. Make sure to check out Lily's and be sure to check their hours as they close early in the afternoon.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by before heading to Hearst Castle and so glad I did! It's super tiny inside, but there's lot of seating outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Workers were super helpful answering questions and were super friendly! Mediterranean Bagel (5/5 stars) - Never thought to do this flavor with a bagel but it works so well! It was so freshing and strong in flavor. Absolutely loved this! Caprese Panini (5/5) - This tasted so good, but I do wish the cheese was a little more melted. Matcha Latte no sugar added (5/5) - The matcha was actually mixed completely which other places usually have clumps. I can also taste the matcha, so they put enough in it! Great option for those of us who don't drink coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, super cute coffee shop with delicious food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cute little breakfast spot on a Main street in Cambria that's within walking distance from lots of little shops ( The Garden shed next door is so CUTE)!!!! There is limited seating indoors but plenty of seating outdoors perfect for enjoying the beautiful costal weather. Staff were kind and helpful with any menu questions and substitutions. Lots of options on the menu and plenty of drink options as well! As for what I ordered Breakfast burrito no meat was good just wish they would add some breakfast potatoes. Did come with a side of fruit which was very fresh and tasty! Orange juice was not freshly squeezed and didn't taste as fresh as I would've wanted Gingerbread iced latte was delightful Breakfast croissant was delicious! Definitely worth a try!

Stopped in for breakfast on our last morning in Cambria. Lily's offers a big outdoor patio, and luckily dog friendly. Options of abundant pastries, coffee, bagel/ croissant sandwiches, burritos, bowls, and seasonal offerings. We ended up ordering two hot chocolate and breakfast burrito with sausage to share. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the patio and our items. Everything was delicious and everyone was so friendly. Would happy come back next time we're in town.

Lily's coffee house has a similar feel to Starbucks, but is friendlier with a small town atmosphere. The server Galen who was working on our visit on Thursday morning was super pleasant and friendly. Business was steady but it did not get crowded during our visit. It was quiet to average noise level. It seemed to be a mix of older regular customers and some tourists like us. The bagel sandwich was very good, but the breakfast burrito was just tastier. Depending on what you feel like, either will be a nice breakfast. Unfortunately, only decaf Americano , no regular decaf, if you want or need that. Good selection of unique pastries. There is a shared lot and street parking. Ask for the toilet--it is shared with another business. They currently close around 3:00. They have limited inside seating with plugs and more outdoor seating. Nice place to come study or read in the morning. Overall, a good cheaper alternative to the more formal sit down breakfast places in town. Food is made to order and so a little bit long wait times, so you might not save time over a sit down restaurant, but can take your food to go easier. We got a mocha and an English breakfast tea. Both were good. Worth trying their other coffees to see how they are. Definitely recommend giving these guys a try.

On a week road trip where we stopped at coffee shops every day this was the standout spot! Absolutely recommend coming here for the delicious food, friendly service and cute atmosphere. I asked the barista what she would recommend and so glad I listened to her recommendation of the honey bun latte and chorizo burrito. Even the salsa that came with the burrito was tasty. Also had a iced americano and jalapeño cheddar biscuit that were positively favored as well. Pro tip: explore the stores/shops next door while sipping your latte- so magical!

Great breakfast menu selection! Coffee is tasty and staff are kind. Mediterranean bagel and breakfast bowl were delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating outside in a cute covered garden-y area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would recommend for an unhurried breakfast or brunch!

This is a charming coffee shop Café with delicious beverages, a fun ambience, and scrumptious sandwiches. It's right next to the garden store on Main Street. What's delightful about it is the garden ethos is over in this café as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's so refreshing to sit outdoors in a beautiful calming environment with the trickling fountain and all the beautiful plants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great and the man taking our order was really fun and personable. This café is only open for breakfast and lunch and closes by about 2:30 PM so just keep that in mind. However, they had some of the most delicious sandwiches I've had in quite some time. Certainly, this place should not be missed. Although another local restaurant is quite famous with their desserts and all, this is a wonderful place to have a relaxing, calm, delicious bite of food or even just a cup of coffee or tea. Absolutely not to be missed.

In a world where restaurants and coffee shops can be wildly inconsistent, this place just keeps showing up and doing what it does best. My go-to is always the Baja Mocha. At this point, it's less of a coffee order and more of a long-term relationship. It's rich, smooth, perfectly balanced, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting. Every time I tell myself I should try something different, the Baja Mocha gives me that "Don't be ridiculous" look, and I happily order it again. A visit also isn't complete without grabbing a pound of whole beans to take home. That way, I can continue pretending my kitchen is a quaint little coffee shop instead of just... my kitchen. The café itself has a ton of character. It's on the cozy side, which means it can fill up quickly, especially during busy times. If you're looking for acres of seating and total silence, this probably isn't your spot. But if you're looking for exceptional coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and a place that feels like a true local favorite, you'll understand why people keep coming back. The staff is always entertaining in the best possible way. They're friendly, have personality, and somehow manage to keep things moving even when the place is buzzing. It's the kind of coffee shop where the people behind the counter seem like they're genuinely enjoying themselves, and that energy rubs off on everyone else. If you're passing through Cambria or lucky enough to live nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Just don't blame me when the Baja Mocha becomes your default order too. I tried branching out once... the Baja Mocha and I worked through it.

The service was not very efficient with the crowd. The barista asked many questions (decaf or regular, oat milk, whole milk, 2%, almond milk, which coffee bean, etc.), which made the line move very slowly. She also had to stop taking orders halfway to make drinks, making the long line to get even longer. There wasn't enough seating, so we decided to take our food to go. They can't help warm up our pastries and directed us to use the microwave and toaster oven ourselves. For the price of the pastries I paid, I expected better service rather than DIY. When the coffee was ready, they did call names but the place was so crowded, we all had to wait outside of the cafe. So many of customers had to come in and out several times to check on their orders. The coffee was also extremely hot and not drinkable right away. Overall slow service, crowded environment, messy flow. I wouldn't come back.

When this happens, I know I found a great restaurant. We had a delightful lunch and desserts. The patio was just right for a sunny day in January. Our server was very friendly and the chef/owner Giovanni even came out to greet us. We found out about his homemade limoncello which was the perfect ingredient for one of the desserts. I seriously love this place!!

The owner said he had a special Prosecco and that he had "a guy" who gets it for him special. He let us keep the bottle since it was our anniversary weekend. When we got back home, I googled the label on the bottle and to my surprise, it turned out his "guy" was Trader Joe. That was good for a few laughs. The dining in meals were at the restaurant's special events with a fixed menu and price. We met friends there for those meals. Both meals were nothing to write home or a review about. Our friends felt the same way. I thought eventually, we would dine there when we are in town enjoying our second home. After today, I will reconsider. My wife and I were near the cafe and she wanted to go into a particular shop. There was no parking spot available so I dropped her off and parked next to the cafe. I stayed in the car to wait for her. I noticed a crude handmade sign on an orange cone that read "parking for Harmony Cafe". There was one car ahead of me but I waited with the engine running. After about 5 minutes, a door opens from the side of the restaurant and a woman comes out. I didn't think anything of it. A few seconds later she comes out again and goes behind my car and takes a photo of my license plate. I thought that was hilarious. First of all, it's a public parking space that apparently the Harmony Cafe has commandeered with a makeshift sign. I have never seen another business in town do such a thing. Cambria is such a peaceful and relaxed place, very laid back but just don't park in the Harmony parking spots if you aren't a diner. I wonder what she does with the photos of those license plates.

In fact is was so warm that my wife had to go outside to cool off a couple of times. Service was stellar. From the server, (Ramona) to the other staff. They took very good care of us. Kept our waters full and checked on us several times during our visit. Let's get down to it. The moment that counts. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were FANTASTIC. They were stuffed with a feta type cheese and were absolutely delish! My main dish wass the Filet Mignon. I ordered it medium. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes. When the steak showed up it looked good and I cut into the steak. It was done to perfection. It had some kind of JD whiskey sauce on it. I took a bite and it was awesome. SO much flavor. I was in heaven. It was like eating candy. I have always considered The Range in Santa Margarita the best but THIS, yeah this was going to be hard to beat! The Sows Ear was now top dog! The mashed potatoes were epic as well. Perfectly cooked and very creamy. The veggies, (broccoli, squash, and carrots), were great as well. Not a huge squash fan but they did not over do the squash and it was just full of flavor. This REALLY went well when it came to the food. The portions were spot on. Lastly we come to the dessert. We had the Mud Pie. Yep, it was a HUGE piece for less than $10.00. Great value and man.........., was it good. Enough for 2 people. It really creates that intimate setting when you can share with your significant other and it be more then enough. This place would have gotten 5 stars had the interior temp been comfortable. 4.5 stars! The bill for the two of us, no alcohol, was right at $140.00. with tip were out the door at approx. $170.00. Thanks to the staff for making this experience great! Ramona, Katie, and the guy walking around that made sure we were good! They made a great team! I would totally recommend the Sow's Ear in Cambria. This place is everything you would expect and you will not be disappointed. Don't miss out on this place! Worth every penny. That is all! Have a great day!
