We were 9 of us and not one person had anything negative to report. Villagio Pizzeria is a staple in Tuckahoe! It's been around for a long while...and I've been a regular customer for years! I love the ambiance on the inside. They've got that classic brick look that I always like looking at. Despite what people say...I've never had a bad experience here. The service is very friendly and the food is very good. The only thing I can knock em' for is the parking. However...it's not their fault. Tuckahoe is a bitch with parking. As far as the food...the pizza and choices are dynamite! I've gotta tell ya...they make a fantastic buffalo chicken slice and an awesome Sicilian pie! Those are my 2 favorite choices on the menu! Very flavorful and very filling. Just terrible customer service, about two weeks ago I ordered a spinach roll, it was terrible and thrown in a paper bag, not wrapped in foil or paper, it was burnt and disgusting. I stopped by tonight and all the rolls on display were all burnt, a male worker with a Dorthy Hamill haircut had such an arrogant and nasty attitude. Clearly I will not be going back there. This pizzeria was recommended by staff at a nearby hotel. I ordered for delivery and was told to expect the delivery in 25 minutes, but my food was delivered in about an hour. The food was ok at best. We ordered pepperoni pizza and grilled chicken Cesar wrap. The pizza was cold and the cheese was hard. The wrap was good, but I found so many ligaments in it. I had really high hopes for this pizzeria, since it was recommended and has so many competing businesses around. I probably will not give this business another try. read more

I Had a few beers at growlers for happy hour and decided I would stroll over to Villaggio's for a slice, boy what a mistake. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted by a disgruntled man with blood shot eyes and a very stinky stench. He asked me what I wanted and I told him I would be a minute, that seemed to piss him off as he slammed down the sauce ladle, making a mess. As I was trying to decide on a slice, I couldn't help but be distracted by the awful smell of rat urine and body odor circulating throughout the building. I was in the establishment for no more than 60 seconds when asked for a second time "what do you want!" I said I wasn't hungry anymore and he mumbled curse words under his breath and I decided to part ways. If you enjoy the smell of rat urine, being treated like a 2nd class citizen and engaging in verbal confrontations, I would recommend having a slice here. read more

I accidentally discovered this place as I was running errands. I love the Tuckahoe area and bumped into this place while I was hungry. I had a regular slice and a bottle of water. There is no shortage of great pizza in Tuckahoe, Eastchester and Scarsdale. With so many pizza shops they all have to do something to set themselves apart from the rest. Unfortunately Villaggio distinguishes themselves with very slow service, high prices, and mediocre pizza. Tonight we ordered a large white pie with Broccoli. For a Monday night it took two calls looking for our order for our food to finally show up 1hr 45min later. It cost $35 which I thought was high especially since it was ice cold with barley any broccoli on it. I complained but no one at Villaggio seemed to care when their customers are unhappy. We order from here quite often. They overcharge for Zeppoli and some other items. We also feel that when you have regular Customers it doesn't hurt to throw in a bottle of soda or a slice here and there to show your appreciation. In terms of food, Villlagio is a 4. Of the slices that I've tried (chicken parm, grandma, sicilian, margarita), all were tasty and I can't think of a negative thing to say. However, I tried ordering delivery from them and was told it would be 40 minutes (they are a 6 minute drive from me). I called at the hour mark and was told the driver had left already and would be there shortly. At the hour twenty mark, I called again and was again told the driver had left and would be there shortly. The delivery guy ended up showing up at about the hour thirty mark. Unsurprisingly, the pie was starting to get cold. There was an extra beef patty included, not sure if due to mistake or a sign of good faith. Went in for a slice w mushrooms to go. What I got was a slice that was moderately warm with a handful of dried out mushrooms thrown on top. NOT mixed in with the cheese and sauce ..oh no ..maybe that little bit of effort might have helped, and I said "might" .... But these were literally DRY mushrooms thrown in top !! I order from here all the time. Their pizza is awesome! Made fresh and not too heavy. I highly recommend the chicken wings which me and my friends adore it's great. The service is always good and prompt! They delivered to my house many times and it was always prompt and the times they said they would deliver. The pizzeria is located in tuckahoe across from the police station. It's rare to find parking in the front but there are other streets nearby to park. There is available seating inside and the service is always good when I go there as well. I have been ordering from this location for years and you won't be disappointed. I wanted to like this pizzeria unfortunately I had a horrible experience and even worse pizza. First, it took an hour and a half to get my delivery. When I placed my order they said 30 minutes. I called at an hour and was told it should be to me any minute I called again at an hour and a half and although they were apologetic that didn't help that at this point I knew my pizza was going to be ice cold. A couple minutes later the delivery guy came. Although he was very nice and told me that he got pulled over and it still didn't justify an hour and a half for delivery. I opened up my pizza and it was cold, obviously I was not shocked. Still hoping the pizza would be good because at this point I am starving I take a bite out of it and the chicken tastes like rubber. This place is an institution in my family. I've been going here for pizza since my earliest memory (early 1990s) wth my family members who live on the hill nearby in the Gentry. The pizza here has always been good,and it has the aura of a classic pizzeria, neon lights and all. My mom, young daughter, and I have gone here a few times since my grandma passed away on our way back home from the cemetery in Eastchester. The pizza and garlic knots are always spot on, very tasty, and have great portion sizes. There are a lot of unique slices too (including an amazing salad piece that I had last week that was awesome). If I had to make a minor complaints, I would say the space inside is very difficult to enjoy your food comfortably at most tables. I feel like there were booths in here when I was a kid. I called at 12.10 to ask what time the pizza would get here and was told my the person who answered that the delivery man is downstairs.Told him no downstairs as am at college campus and waiting. I ordered 2 plates chicken parmigiana and shrimp scampi. The shrimp scampi comes with spaghetti and its described on the menu with white wine lemon sauce. They brought the shrimp scampi on one container and the pasta completely different sauce than the one in menu and i don't understand how you serve the shrimp with completely different sauce coming with pasta with completely different sauce something i didnt ask for. I called back to let them know meanwhile the guy on the phone was mad rude wouldnt let me talk and instead of sending me what i ordered or to try to work this out he was being mad arrogant trynna blame me.
