    hair in pizza

This is DISGUSTING. I ordered two pizzas and 3 salads. My daughter had 3 friends over for a birthday party. One of the pizzas was a cheese pizza. There was a human hair in it. That is disgusting. I don't know if it was the Uber Eats guy or whatever but i will NEVER be ordering here again. Horrible experience.

Oh my gosh have I been missing a good slice of NY pizza. Luigi's is Definitely delivering tasty delicious pizza with great crispy crust. The variety of pizza they had was great. I wanted to try them all but I could not definitely not eat them all. We tried a vodka slice, pepperoni slice, and balsamic with tomato slices. They were all fabulous. Can't wait to go back

Ran in for a quick slice and there was an amazing selection of pies from salads and broccoli and all kinds of meats. We sat in a booth and enjoyed our slices. Staff was friendly and the pizzeria looked clean. Slice was generous but nothing special, there wasn't much flavor; tasteless.

My new favorite pizza shop. The eggplant and veggie pizza are bleeding-edgily awesome! Everything is so well-balanced! This is the only pizza I think I can eat an entire pie. The gyro pizza looks quite promising too! Next time for sure.

Came here with the family since we were passing through. From the outside, it's underwhelming with an olive green sign. Once entering, I was pleased to be welcomed with a clean and organized dining area and simple decor. The dining area is of a reasonable size. My family and I ordered: - linguini with red clam sauce - penne a la vodka - salad pizza - 2 Sicilian slices - 1 mushroom & sausage slice Not quite sure why there were bad reviews. Though, this was our first time, my family and I had a great experience here. The workers were quick and very accommodating, the pasta was great...the pizza is mediocre, but not at all as bad as some people have mentioned. I hope that people will give this place another shot. I'd love to see this place thrive

It was early, we had a 5pm reservation and the restaurant was pretty quiet. My friends arrived a few minutes later and we were seated immediately also in the bar area as was requested. Our waitress came over to ask about drinks then the busboy arrived with warm garlic knots and focaccia, both were very good. We ordered the gluten free fried zucchini, which I have to say I liked better then most other versions I've had. It seems they have an extensive menu of gluten free options which my friend appreciated very much. I got the Pollo Florendena which is two large chicken cutlets breaded and fried with spinach & mozzarella in a brown gravy served with vegg (string beans) and a small potato croquette. The chicken was tender, the gravy tasty and the beans not over cooked. The potato was meh. I took home most of my dinner. One friend ordered the Tortellini Aligherieri but substituted GF pasta, she enjoyed it very much. The other person ordered Vitello Saltimbocca which is veal with prosciutto, eggplant and mozz in a marsala sauce. It usually comes with veg & pot but she substituted penna in a garlic oil sauce which was very good. We had no room for dessert but there were many selections and one day I'll try. All in all a very nice meal, the restaurant has no issue making substitution, the portions are very large and prices were reasonable. The place was packed when we left at around 6:30 and I can understand why.

First, I would give this Italian restaurant 3-1/2 stars but that's not an option unfortunately…read more There were lots of good things but the inconsistencies makes it a 3-1/2 instead of a 4 star. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed. While we decided on what we would be having, we were given complimentary fried zucchini strips & bread. The wait staff is very attentive. Having never been here but using Yelp as my foodie guide, with its high star rating, I somehow missed that this establishment is prixe fixed so you cannot order a La carte anything. I honestly wish I had read more reviews instead of focusing on just the high-star rating. Anyway, the prize fixed menu includes appetizer, main entree, dessert and coffee for $38.95 with up charges for specific items that are clearly marked. Of course, both myself and my hubby chose entrees (veal parmigiana and meat lasagna) with a $5.95 up charge for each. On this Friday night, there was live music. It was very fitting for this Italian restaurant with its cozy Italian bistro/cafe atmosphere. It made it feel like date night. Hearing the music in the background was very enjoyable. Now the food, which came out in a nice even pace so we were not rushed. The appetizers of baked clams and eggplant rollatine were good. My veal parmigiana was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. My hubby's meat lasagna was good but in comparison to my dish it missed the mark. The desserts & coffee were fine, but certainly nothing overly special. I'm the person who looks at dessert first because I look forward to that extra special thing at the end of the meal. Overall a nice dinner out with my hubby.

By far and away the worst I've experienced. I took away a star for this reason. The new spot aesthetically is just okay. As always with local restauranteurs little to no attention paid to the noise level. My ears were bleeding throughout dinner. The restaurant needs decor which creates a warmer inviting presence. Our food was delicious but the wait time for the meals and drinks was insufferable. BTW, the wait time for the check was equally as painful. To the owners, get your (you know what) together and figure this out. You will not succeed unless immediate improvements are made.

We ordered fried calamari as appetizers and a zuppa di pesce - while zuppa is translated as soup in English, the dish is closer to what may be considered a fish stew. In addition to the fried calamari we also ordered a large salad that we split. Cova is a unique restaurant that serves dinner in a family-style format. This means that the entrees are designed to be shared between two or four people. While the food is excellent, for a hungry person, the amount per serving is not worth the price. Unfortunately, the cappuccino maker was not in service, so I ordered a regular cup of decaffeinated coffee. Regrettably, the coffee was not to my liking. The Takeaways: 1. The food is very tasty. 2. The coffee is not good. 3. The price to portion ration is poor. 4. Parking is ample. 5. Make reservations.

Everything was delicious and fresh, I only wished I lived close to this place because I would eat here all the time. Monday night dinner and only a few tables were filled which seemed strange to me since the food was A+, but the takeout was poppin. We started with 6 garlic knots. If you think you only need 6...you are wrong. You need 12, I'm serious! Such warm, crusty, garlicky goodness, they were gone in 60 seconds and we had to order more. - Caprese salad had perfectly ripe yellow and red tomato with a seriously gigantic ball of buffalo mozz - Caesar salad was a little too heavy on the dressing - fresh pasta so good! Papparadella with pesto and fresh mozz & rigatoni bolognese. Flavorful sauces! - Forresta pizza crust was so perfectly thin & crispy and the prosciutto was shaved thin and cooked crispy. Great combo with the arugula - sadly they were out of the tiramasu and sorbet so we tried a cannoli and it was very large filled with rich creamy ricotta and chocolate chips - thanks to a fellow yelper find...they have Mexican Coke! Wasn't thrilled about being sat against a wall, which made service a little difficult - some dropped food (slices of strip off the porterhouse fumbled as server tried slipping in, and he also dripped some sauce on my utensils/tablecloth in front of me) - minor things. We were four people, split two pastas and two mains after apps of zucchini flowers, octopus, barata / prosciutto salad, and a lamb skewer special. The strips of lamb where most underwhelming. For $30 i'd expect noticeably more tender meat, a premium cut (loin or rack), vs what seemed like maybe leg cooked too long, or maybe it was shoulder? Seasoning missed the mark, for me. Pasta course was the Parma wheel and gnocchi Amatriciana - the guanciale had that 'butcher' taste I like, a little soft vs crisped, but that's a feature in some styles. Pasta was clearly fresh. Then a beautiful piece of sea bass - really a standout - and the smaller ~32oz steak Florentine - a lean cut with a tremendous filet on it. All the vegetables, tomatoes, beans, pesto's accompanying the dishes were otherwise delicious. Deserts were great, don't pass on the gelato or sorbets.

My wife and I were regular customers taking out up to twice weekly. Sometimes dining in. However, we liked a specific dish and tended to order it at least once per week. The last few times we got it, we were quite disappointed. My wife took the opportunity to say something the last time she went to pickup food there. Instead of they will address it, they told her that's what it is. The dish Chicken Scarpariello is supposed to have cut potatoes, sausage, chicken, onions, broccoli in a white wine sauce. One week they dump mashed potatoes in it another week they dropped an overcooked baked potato in it. Sad to say they think that's OK. They lost us as a customer when they said that's the way it's made. It never was before and should never be again. Of course, my wife picked up that day what was supposed to be their really good Chicken Parm. It was burnt, the sauce tasted bad and we threw it out.
