Big fan of Eddie's. They are our local go to pizza place. Always have some good specials going on, you can check out their FB page - that's where I get the new alerts for those specials. The regular cheese pies are a go to for us - sauce is delicious which is key. And they're not undersauced like so many others - one of my big pet peeves. Our favorite thing to order are the entrees. Come with a nice amount of spaghetti or penne and a heaping serving of the main dish. Have never been let down by those. The wife and I's favorite entrees are the Chicken francese and the Eggplant Rollatini. I don't really like their wings at all, probably the only negative comment i'd have. Will continue to be my go to spot. read more

decent Pizza nothing to worry about, inside dining wasn't really an option, a takeout place

First when we entered. Someone..? Was yelling at another person...in the kitchen..what???... we ordered. All was ok , but my entree was not what I expected.Eggplant parm ... very small and it was 14.00? No sides ... the tables are small not large enough for the four of us....we had to use the table behind us..for space.... I expected a basic bill. Uh they don't give bills Just when we leave it's on the print out....wtf! Then I had to use the key Pad to put in my pin .....it was the filthiest dirty surface I have ever touched! Really not happy will never go back....and the bathroom. Ickkkk dirty old. Dirty toilet bowl...ok this was a harsh rating.But in this world were there's so much competition and many places... you have to put in the effort and stand out. I got the chicken parm hero from Eddie's pizza and it was pretty good. The breaded chicken cutlet was on the thin side, but it was average quality and they gave me a decent amount. The cheese and the sauce were good and the put a generous amount on the hero which was nice. Service was fine for me. Didn't really chat with anyone working there and they were able to make my order quickly. The inside didn't look great and I'm glad I got my order to go. The walls, the seats, and the floors all have seen better days. There's plenty of room to sit and eat there, but the place was empty and I took my food to go and ate in the park nearby instead. Ultimately, the quality of food was fine and the price was good. I'd say this is an okay place to grab food to go, but wouldn't care to stick around and eat there. read more

Absolutely would not recommend.!! Pizza was barely warm. Large pie with 1/2 meatballs & 1/2 cheese. The only flavor of the meatballs were burnt. The crust was tough and flavorless. Garlic knots tasted like a frozen product & the garlic was bitter. Ate 1/2 slice & threw the rest away. And if masks are mandatory in NY you would think the employees would be wearing them .. Eddie's pizza has really went down in the dumpster. Place an order with them last week. The food was absolutely disgusting, the meatballs hardly had any meat it was all breadcrumb filler. The pizza tasted like cheap frozen pizza mushy & had no flavor just completely salty. The restaurant was filthy and the workers are clueless & nasty. Mmm. Back in the days of being a UPS drivers helper... we would go around the neighborhood and work up a hunger... stopping in and having a slice was great.. a good grandma slice and my go to place to buy dough when I'm interested in making my own pie. I get Fridays are busy pizza nights and you get behind on orders especially when there's a huge order. But don't tell me a certain amount of time and then go WAY over that time. I was told it would be a 40 min wait and ended up waiting almost an hour and a half for my order. The woman at the counter was nasty as well when my boyfriend first walked in to get the order and at least 3 other people walked in after we did and walked right out while I was STILL WAITING. I had broken down on way home from work one night and they delivered told them when I order all I had was a fifty dollar bill so they need to have change. The guy only had a twenty for change so I either take that or no pie. I was hungry so took the twenty. It was not bad but was not that good, in a town with Alberts and little Vincent's you have to be good and with a fare price. I will never go there again. Ive been going here since 1973. No BS! My favorite SICILIAN in the world. The past owner Vinny (RIP) was a true class act and really was passionate about his pizza. My family and I love this joint! I live in NJ and when I go visit my parents I get 2 pies to take back to NJ. Mike took the place over, although I haven't seen him the last 2x since I was there last. Order ahead for take out. I used to love ordering from this establishment. For over 8 years, I never ever had an issue, until today. I ordered food and I waited for over 3 hours with nothing. I decided to call and figure out what the hold up was. When I called, they said the food was delivered to the homeowner. After telling them I did not receive the food and if they could please send the food again to the right address Aiden (the delivery driver) said he would it. No sooner than 30 seconds later, the owner called back and said they aren't sending food because we "received" our product. He started screaming and said DO NOT CALL HERE, CALL THE COPS!!! THE OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND LOST ALL OF MY FUTURE BUSINESS. Do not order from this establishment, you will be disrespected and disappointed. This place is dirty, outdated and the pizza is not that great. If you go to the bathroom you can see the kitchen door open, where it's filthy dirty and discussing. The place has not been updated since the 70-80's, the tablecloths look like they have been used for decades. The floors dirty... etc etc . The pizza is low grade long island slice, meaning you can find a thousand places better than this, nothing special. No crazy varieties, no great slice of anything. I would not recommend. read more

We tried Eddie's after moving into the neighborhood last year and I've been back a handful of times. To be fair, I'd score them 3.5 stars if Yelp would allow - they're ok, but nothing crazy special. The people are very friendly. I called the other day about a special and unsuccessfully asked if they could alter the pasta dish included. They were polite and honest, which is all I could expect. The few other times I've poked my head in was more of the same. The prices are solid. A plain pie is about $13 (they do have coupons on the box for future orders) and a lunch special with two regular slices and a medium fountain drink for $5. A lot of other pizza joints don't have specials or charge more for a pie. Sadly, the pizza isn't my favorite. It's very thin - I prefer a thick slice - and sometimes a little on the small side. It's rather crispy but a little light on flavor. I haven't ordered any of their dinners or salads. Overall, they're fine and I'll keep them in the rolodex since I haven't found a pizza place that's wowed me since moving last year. read more

Disgusting display of customer service. I went in to grab a slice on my lunch break and I was on my phone patients tly waiting on line and the guy asks the guy behind me "CN I help you " so I kindly said I'm sorry I'm not being helped and he says to me "oh well why don't you put down your phone then" so I said oh I'm sorry I didn't realize I couldn't use my phone while I waited on line. He totally ignores me amd I said I'll wait for the girl to help me. Then I decided I wouldn't even give them my business. This guy was so rude Fter I waited on my half hour lunch break on line for 5 min. I so upset I was just treated that way. This place used to be great but after the remodel it is not as good. It used to be my go to place. Everyone is still so nice but the pizza, pinwheel, and calzones are not the same. Before the renovation this place looked very dingy, but now since the renovation it has definitely made a complete 180 when it comes to appearance. Sadly though I can't say the same happened with their food. I ordered 1 regular slice and 1 white slice, both in which where completely flavorless to the point I actually had to put salt on my pizza. To boot, when I folded my slice, it completely snapped in half as if it was a cracker. I had this same issue with them in the past and went to retry them once again considering they are "under new ownership", but nothing had changed regarding the food. I wouldn't suggest anybody to come here and I'm not shocked one bit when I see they aren't packed on a Friday night during baseball season. Food is great, but the workers refused to deliver to my house and lie on the phone. Also they seem unsanitary, many flies in the restaurant. There was pimple grease in my pizza, and im pretty sure my drink too. A lady worker there was very nice (didnt find out her name), but a young man named chris was very rude to me and gave me an attitude when i asked for Alfredo with penne. But on the bright side this worker named griffin really made my day and made me smile with all the funny jokes he makes, he made my visit very pleasant. read more

We go to Eddie's every Saturday night after church. We have the chicken parm. dinner. Good service and good food. Can't complain about the reasonable prices. With a coupon from the local paper, you can get 2 dinners for $11.95. On the same coupon there is a free beer, wine or soft drink. Can't beat that! I'm a fan. read more
