I came here specifically because I've always had to wear crop running pants because I am so short. When I heard that they do FREE alterations, I was excited to finally be able to buy a pair of full length ones. There are lots of staff on the floor working but they don't always identify themselves so I sometimes couldn't tell who was shopping and who was supposed to help me. They are friendly but also kind of distracted and hate to say...ditzy. I do like that they have all the pants on display above where the sizes are located... I also liked that tinstead of just S, M, L they had number sizes. Size 8 fit me perfectly (like a glove!). They are remodeling this particular location but they still had plenty of fitting rooms. Someone measured me for alterations, pinned the pants and told me there was a 2 day turn around for pick up (not bad). I came two days later and picked them up. They still bag around the knee a little but I was happy enough with them. It was $100 with tax. I will update after I've worn them for a while. read more

Small store compared to other locations. BEWARE!!! I brought in 2 pair of yoga pants for hemming and left them for 2 weeks. Upon return to pick them up, they had a hard time finding them. When they finally found them and stuffed them into a LULU bag, I left relieved as I paid nearly $200 for the 2 pair of yoga pants. When I got home, there was only 1 pair and then I realized they took my receipt for the alterations for 2 pairs, so I had no proof or recourse. Pretty SLEAZY staff right? I literally drove to Brentwood after experiencing the lack of customer service store at this location. The red-head associate was so unhelpful and uninterested and the rest were not better. Lululemon has become a different animal. The El Segundo location has male employees who try to do what the female yoga employees do - example, I had a shirt to try on and the male employee specifically came over just to tell me it had a pocket to hold kleenex. The welcoming, perky energy is gone. They stopped making still pants. They no longer make pants out of organic cotton. I have been waiting since 2009 for more organic cotton yoga pants, but they chose to go the way of their awful synthetic "Luon." The music blasts and blares. It is just unpleasant. Excellent customer service at this store! I came in with a pair of wunder under pants that had been pilling very badly despite proper wash care. The pants also got a hole around one of the seam lines. I was upset because I had had the pants for a few months and no longer had the receipt, but the sales associate was so helpful and nice and gladly let me exchange for a new pair. Truly above and beyond customer service. This is why I will pay extra for this brand, because I know that it is quality that you pay for and lulu is top notch! So I've read all the good and bad press on lululemon ... all the various opinions regarding their customer service, product quality, price points and corporate culture. After recently becoming an overly avid Pilates fan, which has resulted in constant exposure to the lululemon fanatics of Manhattan Beach, I realized I had to seriously upgrade my Pilates wardrobe. So after numerous visits to the El Segundo store, I have to say I've become a true fan. Yoga and workout pants are pricey but are very well made and worth the $$, especially when you receive compliments when wearing them :-) :-). Tops wear well and are available in cool designs and colors that spice up my pilates and gym wardrobe. I also love the fact that lululemon has made a strong fashion statement that goes beyond fitness. Pieces within the entire store can be worn when not at the gym and are becoming a fashion staple in my active (and casual) weekend wear. The staff and customer service at El Segundo has been friendly, helpful and on point so that's been a nice added bonus to my overall experience and choice to give my business to lululemon. read more

It's a blessing & a curse to have a Lulu store so close to me. I LIVE in their clothes. My only complaint is that they are often sold out of certain sizes and/or specific items that I see online. For that reason, I often still order online. I do love their tailoring service, though. Wonderful lululemon! Large, well stocked and helpful sales associates. I came in this particular store for the first time today as I'm in town for my friends baby shower.. I was not disappointed. Unlike my lululemon in the Bay Area they had spring/summer clothing ... Mine is still carrying lots of winter gear.. A variety of sizes, styles , and even a pretty good sales rack. Wish this lululemon was closer to my house but I know my husband is glad it isn't as our wallet would be empty !! Will definitely come back the next time in la! Had a good experience here recently. It was my first time at Lululemon, and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of their merchandise. There was a running jacket I really, really wanted, but they didn't make it anymoreand there were very few left at any store. A staff member took it upon herself to call several stores and track one down for me (unfortunately, she guessed my size wrong and it has since been a disaster trying to find another jacket that fits me to exchange). But she spent time and went out of her way for me, and I appreciate that. In general, staff was really friendly. One or two gals weren't terribly friendly and didn't seem to want to help me with my request, but the one did (Katie). Another suggested some running pants for me, which were perfect, and I am happy with my purchase. Obviously, the clothing is really expensive, but I think it's worth it. Just be careful not to buy discontinued merchandise, or at least make sure you can try things on first! read more

I'm a previous Lulu addict. Waited for uploads like a psycho, stalked the store for newest products, etc. After years of being Lulu obsessed I'm finally over it. I could only take so many pairs of sheer pants and I've had enough. You would think after a year since "Sheergate," in spring of 2013, Chip Wilson's appalling comments about women's bodies, and their stock dropping 30% Lulu would get it together. However, they instead have raised prices on crops/pants by 20%. This particular location is just okay. The recent remodel didn't do anything for me personally. The store feels smaller. I think footage was given to the yet to open Iviana next door. This location does have better parking than Brentwood or Santa Monica. As with everything Lulu lately, it's just okay. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife. She had 4 pants damaged with fuzz balls. We came to the store asking for advice on the best way to remove them. They offered to replace them if they couldn't fix them. Although the manager wasn't in the store the lead floor person was able to remove the fuzz balls with a little machine! I can say that this place really does their work for their customers. I'm so happy they were able fix some of my full luon pants and make them shorter. I'm 4'9'' and usually I have to take it somewhere else to get hemmed but they do it at this store and it's free as long as you have the tags for the items and the receipt. Whenever I'm in the area I come to purchase some items and I always get great help as soon as I come into the store. I love this lulu lemon store and it's worth the drive. read more

If I could give not even one star, I would. This store has dissed me twice. Often I visit my grandkids and stop into this Lulu. Over the years I have loved Lulu and bought stocK. I have touted the brand and often given their items as gifts. As an athlete myself, ranked both nationally and at worlds, I love wearing Lulu. My wardrobe revolves around 'lyra.' My training workouts would drop the staff flat. However, these 'cute' young women know nothing about customer service. No matter what the age (70 for me), no matter the shape (mine is excellent), the customer rules with money, PR, and product satisfaction. I went to exchange a pair of tights I bought online to a smaller size since wearing them throughout the day the pants became looser and looser. I had them for 20 days, wore them once! DEMI said I can't size down since I had worn them. Well yea of course I wore them, they are my first pair and I need to figure out what size I am. She then said I took 3 weeks to come in which is too long????? If it was just a few days it's a different story. She then went to her manager and came back and said they couldn't exchange them since I wore them. She was talking so loudly the lady shopping next to me was appalled. Literally apologized to me for this associates behavior. I spoke to her manager who had already said no but then decided it was ok to size down. This review is not about the quality of the clothes. I would prefer to leave Zero stars for the El Segundo Lululemon Store but yelp does not allow so I'm forced to leave 1 star for the poor customer service, I've been to this location 3 times and on each encounter I got unfriendly service. On my last visit 2/22/15 an employee with initials M.M. was unfriendly and annoyed that I approached her to request hemming. She was folding clothes on a table and wasn't terribly busy. Two days later, I went to pick up my hemmed order and I was given someone's tank top with another customers name. I came back to return the tank and asked for my pants. The employee acted cold, unfriendly and unapologetic about the mistake. Another, employee cut me off in front of the clothing shelves to restock pants and didn't say excuse me and rapidly left without saying a word to me. I'm truly amazed of how this store's employees behave. Very unprofessional tone. The vibe is awkward. The girls barely smile. I'm beginning to think this is the normal culture for this company. I'm sure the store will never read this. I just want to warn the public and share my experience. Go somewhere else or purchase online. I will be contacting Lululemon athletica headquarters to report this store. I reviewed this store"s feedback from other customers and it appears I'm not the only customer that has experienced this issue at this particular store. read more

For "supposedly" higher end stuff, they have terrible customer service. I puchased 2 pairs of socks, and the 1st pair had a hole in them, and both pairs have big sensors still attached on the inside. Now another 20min trip back to get the situation fixed. Then after I finished the sale, the cashier tells me, "no returns on socks". Who tells you after you already purchased the item and not before. All the girls that work here are snotty airheads. They have no skills in anything, much less sales. They just see customers as walking dollar signs, even the store manager. One time the stupid cashier couldn't sell me an expensive yoga mat and gave me an attitude. She thinks just because she suggested I buy it that I would actually buy it but NO!
