My experience in this store was a bit awkward because of the worker who lingered around me for the longest time trying to explain/sell me on every little detail. I made it clear to him that I knew what I wanted and did not need assistance. I like to take my time when shopping and don't appreciate being rushed by sales staff trying to earn commission/sales rewards. I ended buying three t shirts and a pair of shorts. The clothes themselves are high quality and look very nice. On a side note, I noticed that Lululemon was having a sale. It was my understanding that Lulu didn't ever offer sales or markdowns but I guess they do now. read more

She helped me solve my issue and really went out of her way to help me out. I have to agree with the other reviewers! The staff at this store is the best I've experienced at any Lulu store, and I've been to a lot! Friendly & helpful! Selection is nice but honestly it's the staff that did it for me which says a lot about management. I'm super impressed every time I visit this store. It's always clean, orderly and the staff is always friendly and very helpful. Parking is fine as it's located at Del Amo Fashion center. I prefer the nice new parking structure! My husband and I just walked into Lululemon here at Del Amo Mall Torrance. And at that moment a very loud alarm went off through the mall, and not a second later several women who worked there closed the glass doors and asked us to follow them to the very back of the store. The alarm said not to take elevators and continued to be very loud, this was an emergency situation. We all waited together and the staff there was very calm and incredibly comforting throughout this scary situation. I can't say enough how impressed we all were with the staff. Everyone also said that. Then a policeman came by and said it was safe to leave. These sweet sales people were just amazing. The training they must have received was implemented and done so well. I made my purchase and we were on our way. I'm not sure what actually happened. But thankful we are all safe. I have BIG love for Lululemon! read more

Just left Lululemon Del Amo as I had to return a gift that had the security tag still attached. We were met at the front by Jake who could not have been any kinder or more apologetic. When I got my item to exchange, he also checked us out and had impeccable customer service! He kept us laughing the entire time we were checking out. Terrible customer service. There is a line in the back you must wait in in order to pick out leggings. I waited in the line for over 20 mins and I was next. The lady at the desk was taking a while helping a man who was going through everything. So I waited, totally fine: However, a greeting lady from the front brought two people who just entered the store straight to the back and started helping them pick out leggings. Didn't acknowledge me at all. What is the point of the line? Why didn't she tell them there is a line in the back for leggings? Instead she brought them straight back and skipped me... like I wasn't even there. I said to her I was next and had been waiting for a long time and she said "oh sorry, I started talking to them at the front" and continued helping them. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Awful customer service. Highly recommend just ordering online. She could have said "oh sorry, let me get someone else to help you right away" but instead I got "oh well I was talking to them in the front so... too bad you'll have to wait until we're done." read more

Worst customer experience. I literally almost just returned everything and walked away. Every time we come to this location one specific associate or manager is always negative and not helpful. This visit we were exchanging a gift. We were not informed that R&D purchases could not be exchanged, which is confusing because we were given a gift receipt for the purchases. What is alarming is that my bf is always asked to show proof of his R&D and gets harassed if he is truly trainer. I personally never get challenged or questioned. He then got questioned on who helped him and who signed him up. It's an uncomfortable feeling knowing that you aren't appreciated or welcomed or trusted. She made us feel judged almost like she's not ok with him wearing Lulu because he's of color or body type. I'm definitely never ever one to say that but I actually saw it first hand. Maybe it was a bad day for her, but I regret coming to this location and spending here. I worked retail for years now and have moved up and I'm part of upper management and this is completely not ok. Thank you to Gabe + Megan for helping me with the return of my Align leggings. After 3 months they started tearing at the seems on the crotch area along with a lot of lint so they both assisted me with getting a new pair! I advise future shoppers to ASK how to properly care for your leggings before you leave the store & if you ever need them fixed they will try to fix them or grant you a new pair with a swap out! Lululemon first timer ! I have heard nothing but great things about the fit and the durability of the brand. I had originally went to the mall to buy my 7 month old some new clothes and as we were headed out my husband told me to go ahead and look around in lululemon because I can never stop talking about it. I was helped by Maddy who was very patient with me and asked me my likes and dislikes and helped me choose the perfect fit for me. No one looked at me side-eyed with my hubby and jogging stroller in tow, instead they made sure I was being assisted. Everyone in the store was a big help right down to the gentlemen at the register who rung me up, he gave me two bags because it was my first time purchasing. This lulu location is really nice and located in the newer part of the Del Amo mall in Torrance. It's not the biggest lulu store around, but there is a nice selection of clothing. I don't find the their dressing rooms are over crowded and the staff is friendly and helpful. Now if only this brand didn't break the bank just for a pair of yoga pants. :). Love their pieces though! My yoga pants have lasted me well over a year and hold up really well. read more

I was waiting in line while struggling to hold my baby and once the gentleman working the cash register, tall brunette with beard, was done ringing up the people ahead of me he just walked away and no one else was there to help. Lululemon never seems to fail me. From the quality of their clothing to the customer service, I definitely always have a pleasant experience with them. I came in Monday night with my boyfriend to convert him into loving lululemon like I do, and he decided he wanted to buy 2 pairs of shorts however they checked in the back and didn't have his size in stock for one pair. After letting him know, they offered to ship it to him for free if he paid in store. Unfortunately, we were in a rush to make it to our dinner reservation and asked if we can do it online our selves and they let us know it would be free shipping online too! Great to know for when I want to browse the web at work ;). After walking out and rushing to our car, he received a call from one of the sales associates telling him that they found his size in the exact shorts that he wanted. He was so excited and rushed back to go purchase them. Overall I'm super happy with lululemons excellent customer service & I'm sure we won't be gone for long!! read more

I love lululemon products. I own several pieces that I have purchased mostly on line. I have gone into this location by myself a few times and never had any issues however on October 8th, I went into the store with my husband and 2 boys as my husband wanted to buy a few pieces for me. As I was looking around and trying things on, my husband and kids were also looking around the store as they wait for me. A certain male white employee with a beard went up to my husband and asked him if he needed help. My husband told him that he was waiting for me. The employee started to hang around my husband and kids and it really made my husband feel very uncomfortable that he just waited for me by the door. To management, FYI, my husband spent $400 at your store that day but he was very bothered by the way he was treated. Your employee thought he was going to steal while with our kids??!! It is unfortunate that this is the world we live in. You should teach your employees to not pass judgment on people based on the color of their skin. For reference, I am Asian and every time I have gone into your store, I was welcomed warmly, my husband is Hispanic and the first time he came into your store, he felt like he was looked down on. Just so you know, my husband is as American as your employees there. He served in the military and is a 19-year veteran with a local police department. Shame on you! At first glace, this store looks closed because it is currently undergoing construction. But upon seeing the "store open during construction" sign, I was happy. I love lululemon stores and checking out their new products. I was greeted upon entering, tried on some running tights that I have been eyeing. No issues with customer service...yet. At the register, the girl ringing me up was totally fine....until I asked if I could use the coupon I received earlier in the morning upon taking a survey about lululemon customer perceptions. She immediately had attitude and told me she didn't know anything about this in a tone that was a bit berating. I pulled up the email on my phone to show her proof, but she still told me she didn't know anything about this, She finally honored the email, but it looked like she wasn't happy about honoring it. My fiance who was standing behind me even witnessed this exchange and asked me what was her problem when we were leaving the store. Great products but poor customer service. read more
