    Three meat sampler
    Jude A.

The ambience was super chill, and the server was very accommodative. For my beverage, I enjoyed a glass of "aviation." I ordered the three-meat sampler with fried okra and macaroni and cheese. The ribs were very juicy, tender, and delicious. The sausage was very flavorful as well. The brisket was well-seasoned. The fried okra and macaroni and cheese were also tasty and delicious.

The ribs had only a thin layer of meat on them, the brisket was dry, and the fries were soggy, and the sausage tasted similar to what I'd buy from a grocery. I am a bit let down since I always see this place busy and had higher hopes. Hopefully it was just an off day.

The Mac and cheese is 10/10!!! Definitely a must! The cornbread with the sweet butter is also good. The salad was hugeeeee. The trio sliders was great, they let you pick 3 different meats for each if you like! I did turkey, brisket and chicken! The sauces are also so good. Plenty of seating indoors and out!

Awesome food and service. In town for a wedding and went for lunch. Fried pickles so yum and this sauce adds a great spicy level.

The food was delicious! I was looking for a good bbq spot near me. The menu was vast and everything sounded so good. The service was great. They were very prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is very cute and feels exactly like what a bbq place should feel like. Very rustic but goes well.

Cool little spot. Food came out quick. Bathrooms clean. Great customer service. Kid friendly. I'm here for a softball tournament and I would bring the whole team here next time.

I love bbq!!! This place is sooo good! We drive an hour sometimes just to go here. Love the atmosphere - when it's warm / open air. Waitresses will close the tent flaps on the patio if you ask though. Food typically comes out quickly and service is always friendly. Our family loves it- got the 4 person family platter so we could have leftovers. Brisket is what we came for but also had ribs - both soooo tasty! The cornbread with cinnamon sugar butter- heck ya! Fried okra with homemade ranch and comes with coleslaw too. Kids liked the Mac and cheese. Kids loved the slushie strawberry lemonade. I loved my sangria slushee .

This trip not worth the time to type this review. The brisket was tough, chewy, sausage below average and the fried okra overcooked. If it was for the Mac and cheese and the chicken it would be a total flop. The server was one of the other saving graces to the evening. He asked and I was honest and he asked if we would like him to take care of the meal and we said no. It's the thought that counts. But this trip was not the same experience as twice before.

Fresh Point cut brisket was great!

Definitely been wanting to try this place but I'm never up north. Went to a farm nearby and this was a 20 min drive not too far away so planned lunch here. We got the 1/2 and 1/2 meat platter for 2 of us and upcharged brisket and ribs for $5 more. I asked for Point brisket and when we got the plate I could tell it was Flat it seemed like it had been cut and out for awhile. The ribs were fantastic fall of bone juicy tender ton of flavor. When I told waitress about flat she apologized and brought out FRESH point right away and it was totally different experience. Tasty, juicy and delish. Overall solid place if I'm around again I would try. Suggestions is to up their bread game with maybe Texas toast or a Jalapeño cheese bread, even some big rolls or cornbread rolls. The cornbread slice we got was meh was too crumbly. Also some homemade seasonal pies with fresh crust would be great, I saw on menu online but at store they had only a key lime made in house with a frozen crust that was meh... I would have loved a peach pie or apple ala mode to finish meal,

Pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, baked beans, corn bread, sweet potato fries, Mac n cheese

All meats and sauces are gluten free and many of the sides as well. I had the brisket and pulled pork with potato salad and baked beans and enjoyed everything. My boyfriend LOVED the cornbread with cinnamon honey butter and his chicken. Our waitress Brie was really friendly and helpful. Huge variety of drinks as well.

Okra, coleslaw, smoked beans, wings and brisket

Food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the smoked wings and fatty brisket never disappoints! Great service indoor and outdoor. Owners are friendly as well as the staff! You gotta get here!

Brisket, ribs, rib tips, sweet potato fries and mac & cheese! Wow, my special portal to Texas!

The best bbq in the area. If you aren't hungry get meat on a side salad. To go Texas slush is well worth the effort.

Tucked away next to a gas station & a dispensary, Is KT's BBQ…read more It has a great outdoor dining area. The inside has a few tables. You order at the counter. We had the brisket sandwich with two sides. Nice portion of shredded brisket on a soft bun. We chose the Tangy slightly sweet bbq sauce. They had a few choices of sauce. The brisket had a nice Smokey flavor. I found it abit dry, but good with sauce. I added the coleslaw on mine & it was tasty. Nice crunchy home made slaw. The Mac & cheese was great. Creamy, cheesy& yummy. The beans were the best. They had brisket in them. They were alittle spicy, sweet with a good punch of cumin. We enjoyed them. The place is older & definitely needs a good scrub, especially the bathroom. No bueno. Staff very helpful & prompt . If you need something, go to the counter & ask

Very cool little place - casual, feels like a BBQ joint…read more Very nice meats with a relatively small selection - actually liked that. They have normal sandwiches and plates but also these "BBQ parfaits" - a bowl layered with everything you love in a handy little bowl. Ribs - excellent - well smoked, great sweet sauce, meaty beans - mediocre - used to just good pintos, these had a lot of added spices - a little too much I thought. potato salad - ok- kind of bland Not sure I'd make a special trip with so many other good BBQ places around but if you are in the area its solid food.

It's actually quite easy to miss with Teocalli having way more business just one street down. It's got a lovely interior with lots of wood and a nice rooftop patio. Walking in, I wouldn't think much of it. The menu is relatively simple with some appetizers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some other things. Where this place shines is their bacon, and by extension their sandwiches. Multiple people I've gone with have said the JGBLT is the best sandwich they've ever had. It's certainly up there for me, just behind panino I've had in Italy. It's nothing complicated, but each part of the sandwich is so well done that the finished product is understated and overwhelming. So good. It's also the perfect portion, every time. It doesn't seem to matter how hungry I am when I come in. They have an excellent beer list with lots of things to choose from. The whiskey menu is absolutely insane, and the whiskey flights are necessary to digest it. A small thing that is really nice- their sodas. It's not just coca cola or Pepsi products- they have craft sodas, which are really excellent. Additionally, you can get their non alcoholic cocktails for the same price as just a soda, which is lovely. The daily specials are always fantastic and a good way to get something unexpected. I will be extremely sad when I have to move from Lafayette, as this restaurant is one of my favorites in the world.

Now these top-end cuts have a price tag that I'm guessing most of us have to save up for, but they have some "regular" cuts that will bring the yum at a more affordable price. The seasonal menu highlights the freshest CO produce too, so don't forget to add some greens to the plate. Service is relaxed and friendly, unlike some of those "fancy steakhouses."

The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.
