Service was excellent. The wait time on a Friday night was a little long, but that's to be expected around happy hour. The food was good overall. The chicken was a little dry and I don't love beef ribs so I can't say whether they were better or worse than anyone else's. I do think Rib City has the one up on Lulus food, but the atmosphere and overall feel of Lulus is comfortable, warm and welcoming. i've never like bbq until my husband introduced me to Lulu's. The meat was extremely tender and flavorful. The brisket falls apart it's so good. The frozen margaritas are delicious! And the sweet potato tots are like the best comfort food ever. All the servers are wonderful! Arra, I believe, is super sweet and helpful! Best waitress ever. This is Texas style BBQ. Surprisingly, the brisket was ok and the pulled pork and ribs were much better. The side were ok. We had the beans, Texas style (like chili) which are not really my thing. OMG!!! So good. I have dreams of going back. My initiation to Lulu's was at the end of May, I've been trying to get back there since. What a great BBQ place. The atmosphere is fun, the patio out front is my preferred seating-less noise. I had the Nachos and the sliders, they were to die for. The brisket was melt in your mouth, my favorite the pulled pork is so tender and tasty, you don't have to add sauce-but you'll want to because the sauce is yummy too Definitely a must-go-to BBQ in this area. This place is legit. The atmosphere is perfect for a BBQ joint and the food is always on point. I love the slushy margarita/beer and always find the staff to be in a great mood. I absolutely love barbecue and finally got a chance to go here. We ordered a bit of everything so we would get a good taste of all their offerings. The taste was mediocre and seemed over salty. The portions are big for everything. Our issue wasn't so much in taste and consumption, although subpar for my barbecue tastes, but our post-meal bathroom issues that stuck with us. I would not eat here ever again. Not sure whether their brine was bad or there are some hidden chemicals or what (we eat very clean)-but the belly aches after were the least of our post-meal issues! read more

Great little spot for the BBQ/southern fans. We've had their ribs/wings to their smoked NY strip (served only on Fridays). I enjoyed my NY strip (which is served like smoked prime rib) with fried okra and mac & cheese. I'm from MS and Lulu's has the BEST fried okra I've had since living in CO. They do it right. Finally got to Lulu's after hearing good things about it. And I was quite pleased with the experience. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich and 2 sides, mac& cheese and beans. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. The only thing I would change is they only had 1 bbq sauce on the table. I like a selection of different flavor bbq sauces. But we will definitely be back. Great atmosphere using cozies for your beer can, metal plates, polished metal furniture and good service. Ordered the brisket dinner (fried okra & ranchero beans) and was very happy with it! So flavorful & tender I almost didn't use the sauce provided on the table! Can see when temps warm up the garage door being up so one can enjoy the people watching outdoors! I have missfeelings about this place: on one side there is no more greasy, overcook, unsophisticated place in the area to eat in but on the other side if you ask me: right after a huge run or hike or a tough soccer game (basically I am HUNGRY as I can be) where would you like to eat? Food and craft brew as very good as usual. Service is why I'm posting a review. Service hasn't typically been above average but tonight takes the award for the worst. Arrive a 6 and request a table for 4. I was told the only 4 guest table is the table that is 2 feet from the hostess station in a dark corner (you should see it - horrible location). Agreed to wait list and head to the bar. After 15 minutes at the bar and noting several open tables I return to the hostess station. I asked if our party of four can pull an extra chair up to a table for 3 (yep, offered to squeeze our party of 4 up to a table for 3). I was told no, this is against our rules. I ask if our party of four can have one of the tables that seat 6. I was told no, this is against our rules. I asked why there were 3 tables for 4 with 2 people, 1 table for 3 with one person, and 1 table for 4 with 1 person, but I couldn't seat a party of 4 at a 6 person table or a 3 person table (I guess a party of four must wait for a table that is the exact size). I asked the hostess to check with the manager and we were seated at the table for 6. BTW, while we were dining a party of 5 was seated at a table with 8 seats. read more

LuLu's is my go-to for happy hour drinks and snacks! The sliders never disappoint, neither do the sweet potato tots. Texas Slush is one of my favorite drinks! Anytime I have an out-of-town guest, this is a must-do. We've been here several times. After the initial meal, which was delicious but hindered by slow service during their Grand Opening, we have had really good food and service here without disappointment. The atmosphere is fun and it's a great place to lay low and enjoy. Nice selection of beer - we always try something different. The kids love the Mac N Cheese. I love the brisket and pork. They have a pickle relish which is zippy and adds character and uniqueness to the BBQ. Very flavorful all the way around. Can't wait to try some other entrees like the salmon.
