I was skeptical to try this place as it's changed hands so many times in the last few years, but I had a Groupon and decided to give it a shot. Thank God for that Groupon because I would have been mad spending any more money in this place. It still has the same décor as when it was Hurricanes Wings - and they kept with the wing theme but added lobster to it somehow. They do still have the same happy hour specials of 2fers on drinks so that's a pretty good deal and they honor it not only at the bar, but at the tables too so get in before 7pm! I ordered a sirloin steak and added a lobster tail for $10, garlic parm broccoli and mashed potatoes as a side. There was an upcharge of $1 for the potatoes since they were "premium". Last I checked regular mashed potatoes are a usual side... My fiancée got the Philly cheese steak and a premium side of Mexican corn. My steak was ok, but I've gotten better steaks at Chilies - the lobster tail was good, broccoli was borderline raw with garlic parm dressing on it and the potatoes had no taste. His sandwich was good but greasy, and the side of corn for an extra dollar wasn't even a full half. Service was good although the drinks took a little long to come out, they were all very friendly and everything was quick afterwards. It took a second for us to be seated,but that was fine.We chose to sit outside because it was such s beautiful day.The view of route 112..not so great.Our wsitress,was very friendly and understanding to any issues at hand.The bartender is not only in reverse but can not make any of the cocktails correctly.It took about 15m to get our drinks and the place maybe had 4 tables.When your drink menu is so extensive:why can you not make a margherita??It was clear,like 7 up and tasted awful.My Moscow mile was flat..we double ordered because it took so long..the 3rd drink was not memorable either.Our w as mistress said the bartender claims that's her special..as a former bartender lemme tell ya that's not good.My friend switched to wine,cant mess that up.I did a shot or two,straight no mixing needed.Considering we were parched and still did not finish them.Water was ice cold though.I can't recall the app at all. I have so much to say I guess I start at the beginning went to the newly opened up lulu lobster inn off of sunrise highway. We called for reservations and was told we don't need any when we arrive we were told we have to wait 20 minutes for a table with four people who walked in after us had reservations and sit down what's wrong with that situation. Well when we were finally seated we waited almost 15 minutes for a waitress to come over and offer us drinks water was not on the table not even a piece of bread nothing. My son ordered bake clams when delivered to the table finally after about a half hour they were burned on top and it was more like baked bread than baked clams. I myself ordered the broiled stuffed lobster charge me six dollars extra for stuffing again it was more like eating bread then anything else and the amount of stuffing in the lobster was enough to swallow in two bites the lobster was overcooked, I ordered the premium side one was called Mexican street corn which is deep-fried corn and cheese pulled over it half a piece of corn if I ordered it separate it would've been charged me five dollars what a rip. My son and his friend ordered soup again after waiting about another 15 minutes we were told that they're out of soup this is a brand new place what's up. Oh by the way I ordered coleslaw as my second side and was brought french fries do they know the difference between potato and cabbage. Honestly, I have always loved the layout of this restaurant. A huge bar with 48 taps. It used to be Hurricanes, which we would frequent once in awhile. The same sweet bartender, with great service. The menu has changed and so have the wings. We ordered large bone in Buffalo wings and they were amazing. For dinner we ordered the beach shack chicken and that was also yummy. A large portion, which we had to bring some home. Half priced wings and $3 Millers on tap. Unfortunately I am an Ultra fan but prefer Bud light to Miller light. I came today as a group of 6 with 2 kids along with us for dine-in. We had 4 Groupon codes, and when we arrived, we were informed that it was only one code per table. When we looked on the app, it did not specify that it would be one code per table, it only stated that it would be one code per person. We decided that we would split into three tables, and 2 of us would share one code. They come back to tell us that we could use only two codes although we were now split into three tables. They also simply assumed that we were all a family, but we came as a group of friends, with one of group being a family. We decided to order it for takeout instead and their service seemed to be quite lacking. We came in and their attitude towards us and another group of customers were quite different. We were a group of Asians and I felt uncomfortable as one of the staff simply kept staring at us while we were waiting for our order. I had gotten their chicken and lobster roll with fries. I had also switched out alcohol with a soda because I do not drink. They gave me a kiddie cup. What was supposed to be a fun outing with friends turned into a horrific experience. My party of 6 adults and 2 young children traveled 1.5 hours to be here after buying their Groupon deal. We were excited to see that they had outdoor seating. After canceling our Maine trip because of covid-19, we thought this would be a nice little way to make up for it. What a mistake. The normal outdoor seating was supplemented by some extra tables set up right next to their parking lot. When we arrived, there was literally no one sitting at the extra tables. I walked in first and there was no one at the front desk. We waited a couple of minutes before someone finally noticed us and walked over. No friendly greeting (or greeting at all for that matter), not even an "excuse me." I moved out of the way for her to get behind the counter. I told her we had 4 Groupons to redeem and we would like to be seated outdoors. She told us only one Groupon was allowed to be redeemed per table. There was nothing of this sort mentioned in the fine print and we were bummed to hear this but didn't want to argue with her if that was the policy. I mentioned that we had traveled from far so we will have to redeem the Groupons even if that meant we had to sit at separate tables. She didn't seem pleased with what I said and told us "well we won't be able to put the tables together." We were told to wait outside for a server to "figure it out" with us. Waited outside for at least 10 minutes before we were finally acknowledged only to be told we're only allowed to sit at two tables and redeem 2 Groupons. If they had a lot of people waiting to be seated, it would have been a different story and we would've understood. But there was no one there except for my party and at least 3-4 extra tables besides the ones we were already sitting at on our side. We were trying to make our case and not only were we not treated with respect and professionalism and were given attitude, but she also assumed we were one family (why? because we're all Asian?). We asked to speak to the manager and the manager was no better. If not for the pre-purchased Groupons, we would've 100% left then and there. We decided to order to-go since we didn't feel welcomed there. The Groupon deal included a choice between beer/wine/sangria but my partner and I wanted to replace our beverage with soda. They claimed to have run out of large cups so we were given only one kiddie cup each. My friends' sangrias came with two kiddie cups each. Simply doesn't make sense. We took turns redeeming our Groupons and when we got to the last Groupon, the person taking our orders said, "Another one???" We each pre-paid ~$40 for our deals. Is this how you treat paying customers? The food was mediocre at best and after that whole fiasco, appetite was basically gone anyway. The lobster roll looks big but was stuffed with celery and onions and other fillers. The chicken wings were also decently sized but the taste was nothing special. Fries were meh. The price was good for the amount of food we got but it's simply not worth it for the frustration we felt. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. If it was really that hard for you to give some leeway during these times to put some tables together to allow a group of friends to have a decent meal, then I don't know what to say. If it was really that hard for you to realize that one kiddie sized cup of soda doesn't replace what would've been a full sized cup of beer/wine/sangria, then you really don't know how to run a business. I've read other reviews and many seem to have had decent experiences so I'm not sure why my party was treated the way we were. The wings were well done tasted burnt and the fried were either small pieces over crispy or long fries basically raw. Alright... where to start. The minute I walked in the smell was a little off. Like a humid moisture smell. It is summer so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. So - here's a fair review- Took my girl out - she had the lobster and wings - she was super happy and enjoyed them I got the porterhouse and corn on the cob. I asked for medium rare and blackened on the outside ... it was barely blackened and very rare On the inside. I finished my salad, overcooked corn on the cob and beer long before our waitress Haylie checked up on us . So i was waiting a bit... and they're not that crowded. When I got my steak back and a second beer , she spilled some of the beer - which I don't care about , but never topped it off (which I do care about a little ) at this point we went from ultra rare to well . This was the last time we saw her until she dropped the check . The cut of the porterhouse was rough and fatty and made more difficult to manage with the plastic fork and serrated half-tang knife I was given. Ultimately , my girlfriend bequeathed her seafood fork after she daintily devoured her delicious delicacy. This is my second time being displeased by the steak and from now on , it's the wings and lobster platter for me ! The ambiance is comfortable and they have a party room which is pretty cool . They do have an extensive beer menu, and a lot of TVs So if both The Jets and Giants didn't suck so badly I would imagine this would be a great place for football read more

I was there on October, 2, 2022 to watch the ny giant game at 1pm and was there one other time 2 weeks before to watch a ny giant game. The manger there has a mouth that isn't fit to be used as a toilet!! nasty, rude individual. I experienced such treatment during my prior visit as well, but today was the worst!!! Apparently she was carrying a chip on her shoulder from my last visit there, while watching the game it seemed as though the sound to the giant game was turned down and another nfl game was turned up, this conclusion was drawn by her patronage to a group of friends she had there, so with that i had to raise my voice so she could hear my compliant about the giant sound going low and she got pissed and yelled at me to stop having a hissy fit, I left it at that and continued my stay till the game was over with no other interactions with her, at the end of the game I left, paid my bill and actually gave her a tip as well. Well, that wasn't the end of it because as soon as I sat down today the dirty looks started. So a different bartender served me and all was well until she walked over to her and whispered something in her ear while looking at me and it all went south. I Ordered 10 wings mild not hot at half time, they came out and I could smell the hot sauce on them and bit into one and my lips caught fire, the person sitting next to me commented " holy crap that is super hot I can smell it. With that the other bartender was gone and it was just the manager so I had to ask her to bring them back because hot sauce was on them and she went into her load rude thing with me saying it was mild tasted the sauce and said it was mild it was ordered as mild, and she said order something else, I insisted on it be redone with mild and she stormed out from behind the bar swearing at me using the F-Bomb multiple time, when she came back I said to her what is this, you cursing at me using the F-Bomb this is how you treat your customers, her response was don't give me that customer is always right F***ing bull S**t. this is unbelievable--- and she is the manager, meanwhile a new order of wings came out and they were MILD! :-O OMG!-- stay away from this place, she has a click there that will go after you!!! read more

I happened to enjoy Lulus a lot more than i had expected to. Not much has changed inside since it was Hurricanes Grill and Wings other than the ocean decor. We went with a party of five and the server was very kind and attentive. My boyfriend and I shared the "Lobby Slab" . Basically it was two halves of a lobster along with a huge, shareable bowl of steamed mussels, clams, shrimp and four pieces of garlic bread along with a giant bowl of butter along with two sides of our choice. ( We opted for corn on the cob and a plate of fries). The lobster was ok for the price though nothing compares to true fresh lobster. There were more mussels than anything else in the bowl but they were very tasty. We finished everything in the platter between the two of us and were pretty satisfied. We happened to go on a Friday night and the live music was a little much, to the point where we had to basically scream across the table to hear each other speak. I love listening to an overbearing Duran Duran cover as much as the next guy but I also would have enjoyed a nice conversation over a meal. We ordered the fried ice cream for dessert and it was basically a ball of cheap vanilla ice cream covered in Frosted Flakes so that was a bit disappointing but I digress. Took almost an hour to cook two steaks a lobster and a chicken dish and to add to it when the steaks came out they were both well done and dry and ordered med-rare. It's easy to see what the main problem is here because it's non-existent and that's management. You would have thought the manager would visit tables when food takes so long to come out or when there is a re-cook on a steak. My husband and I have been here a few times and we've always had a good time. I would give it five stars but the service is inconsistent. The staff is very friendly and appears to want to do well but maybe they just need a little more direction on how to serve tables. We went this weekend because our friends band was playing. It was a terrible rainy night so the place wasn't as crowded as it usually is, which is why I questioned why it took so long for our server to take our order and come back and check on us. When he finally did, we asked him to come back a little more often, which he did. I think with a little more training the service will be more consistent. Our server was very open to suggestions, very friendly and throughout the rest of the night he was right there when we needed him. The food here is good and the wings are great! I would highly recommend them for an appetizer. They are actually so big that you can have them as a meal. My favorite here is the lobster salad. The salad is fresh and so are the rest of the veggies they serve with it. This place really is a lot of fun and the staff is open to any suggestions that will help make your experience here better. Then I got a fried chicken sandwich with tomato, pickle, lettuce and mayo. The bread was stale and the chicken, again, was something from a frozen food bag that was defrosted in a microwave and had absolutely no flavor. I asked for more Mayo thinking I could "flavor" up the sandwich but no, all I tasted was the dry, stale bread.
