I was there at Sora as a guest to a resident,…read moreand I was excited to apply for an apartment, until Brian came and kicked out another guest (Ashley Brown who was the one who recommended the apartment to me) out on a technicality in front of a large group of residents and guests. This was not only awkward and confrontational but petty and embarrassing. Whatever beef he had, he did not need to air in front of a group of paying residents, club members, and future tenants who were previously having a great time. I searched so hard for a benefit of the doubt but couldn't find a professional reason to do this. Ashley was a former employee who left on great terms, and Brian really embarrassed himself and Sentral (the management company) trying to accomplish god knows what. I'm appalled at how petty he was as part of management. I wouldn't touch a lease here with a 100 ft pole. I prefer home to be somewhere relaxing. Imagine coming home and the staff are causing drama everywhere. I hear it's not the first time he's deterred a potential resident. Or the second. Or the third. Comments from current Club residents: "Things were great until Brian started feeding us nothing but soggy fish and chips." Comments from me: " I am sparing myself from a life of unprofessionalism and drama and renting elsewhere."

We clicked right away and he was super helpful throughout the whole application process and holding the unit for me. Romy was such a star I even told my friends about him! Even when I saw him dealing with other residents' problems, he was so on top of it. Romy also invited me to check out one the resident events after I signed my lease and I'm glad I went because I met such great people! When I moved in, I was greeted by Tigg, who was so kind to me and explained to me the new management company taking over and the events they host. Andrew helped me with the moving in process and was absolutely amazing!! He checked in on a bunch of times and got me what I needed to get moved in and situated and help me get my parking situation figured out. I didn't realize I had to make a reservation for the freight elevator to move in, but he was so kind to get it set up for me. He made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They were also so kind to give me move in gifts! My old apartment had one competent office employee and the rest were truly clueless, so it's been very refreshing to see so many competent people at this office! Simple requests such as adding someone to a lease or getting clarification on contracts can take weeks for management to respond to, if they respond at all. To make matters worse, I was sent important lease documents the same day I moved in, which felt rushed and unprofessional. Communication throughout my tenancy has been poor and frustrating. The property also does not feel secure or properly managed. There are frequently homeless individuals directly outside the building, creating an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment for residents and guests. Despite the premium pricing, the overall living experience does not match what is advertised. Management is extremely restrictive and difficult to work with. Residents are treated more like liabilities than valued tenants. Even basic situations, such as attempting to replace a damaged car window in the garage, became unnecessarily complicated instead of being handled reasonably. For the amount this building charges, I expected professionalism, responsiveness, and a safe living environment. Instead, the experience has been stressful, poorly managed, and disappointing overall. I would strongly recommend future renters carefully review all policies and consider other options before signing a lease here.

I've lived at 1133 for almost three years and the property has significantly declined since the…read morechange in management. It used to be a well-maintained and enjoyable place to live, but that is no longer the case. There are ongoing maintenance issues that are not properly addressed, including a persistent foul odor in my unit that I've submitted multiple work orders for with no resolution. Common areas and amenities are frequently out of service--gym equipment is often broken, including the AC and a StairMaster that has been down for over a year. The clubhouse also has broken TVs and other neglected equipment. There have also been damages to my vehicle caused by security staff, which were not properly addressed or resolved. There are additional concerns about upkeep throughout the property, including rusted fencing on the rooftop that appears poorly maintained. In addition, wildlife control in the parking garage appears poorly handled, and I have personally seen multiple dead pigeons. Security is rarely helpful when issues arise, and communication from management has been inconsistent at best. Meanwhile, rent continues to increase without any noticeable improvements to the living conditions or amenities. Overall, the property no longer reflects the standards it once had under prior management.

I asked a " Relationship Manager" for her manager or corporate office contact information , she turned her head and said she can't give out contact information to the general manager nor the corporate office. Huh? Who says that lol. Clearly she's not very bright... like we're not able to GOOGLE and get the AMIDI GROUP ( located in Redwood City, Ca. ) or the General Manager ARGIS contact information? The unfortunate thing about this building is that I have encountered this RUDE behavior from several of these " relationship managers" , not just one! Which make you wonder about the person who is at the top " managing them", to allow this type of behavior reflects badly on MANAGEMENT. He asked me to email him, which I did, and he confirmed it in writing. He also said I could let him know just a week before the weekend I wanted to stay. I sent another email in May to give him some advance notification for a weekend in August and he replied. I emailed him twice again end of July and he didn't respond. I called numerous times and I finally got through. While I am on the phone with him, I noticed he sent and an email and he says the policy has changed and they no longer offer short stays. I asked when they changed the policy and he said it doesn't matter. I asked for a copy of the policy change and he is unable to provide it. I asked to speak to his manager and he says it doesn't matter. I asked for the manager's contact info and he refuses to provide it.
