I came in around 3 in the afternoon, right in that in-between time when you're not sure if it's a late lunch or an early dinner -- and it turned out to be a great decision. Even during that slower part of the day, the service didn't miss a beat. Divany greeted me warmly and made the experience feel welcoming from the start. She was attentive without hovering and made sure I had everything I needed. It's clear she takes pride in her work and values good customer service. I ordered the salmon plate, and it really impressed me. The salmon was cooked beautifully -- flaky, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The sides complemented it perfectly and made the whole meal feel balanced and satisfying. It was fresh, filling, and exactly what I was hoping for. Overall, a really solid experience. We enjoyed our food. 4 stars because multiple aspects of our order was wrong (ordered fries for three meals got rice) asked for no cucumber on salad but it was there. One of our kids spoke up and we just said it's ok and moved on (it happens). However Divany noticed and made it right with a side of fries and we don't even ask about it. read more

Even though we ordered at the counter and poured our own drinks from the soda fountain, Divany and Carlos not only quickly brought our food to us, but they also wanted to make sure we had everything we wanted and the food was to our satisfaction - and it was. Luna Grill serves succulent salmon kabobs, crispy fries, and savory gyros. They also came back - twice - to check on us. We noticed they did the same for every customer. First time here .. I eat healthy .. athlete .. but take out or informal restaurants rarely serve healthy and uncommon fabulous cuisine .. I was dumbfounded at the menu .. each dish whether a bowl a salad or a warm skewer of insanity has around 7 minimum of the most tasty ingredients EVER ... the absolute best falafels ever super crunchy .. the protein is top notch but the different groups of ingredients is so satisfying and bursting with flavors .. olives are more black and green soo delicious.. combos of lettuces exotic and healthy .. every dish has so many crazy interesting tastes it's a celebration..! Divany took my order she explained everything she offered me several dips instead of one bc I couldn't decide she couldn't do enough for me sweetheart! .. yup hard to decide so many choices and all cooked to perfection.. it's a Monday and people streamed in picking up .. I love Luna Grill a lot and have been to many locations. It's easily my favorite chain of the mediterranean casual concepts. but there are things I wish could be changed to make it even more appealing to consumers. The modern greek salad upgrade is amazing but it shouldn't be more than $1 extra. I think there was a time where the upgrade was $1 and I really liked that and would get it everytime if it was. The portions in person for the plates seem to be bigger than takeout from my experience. The salad is normally not as big. Prices are a bit steep but mostly reasonable considering they mostly use olive oils and healthy fats, which are more expensive. Do not add a la carte proteins or substitute anything for salmon in the bowls. They are not worth it. Their loyalty program is great however. Spend $100 to get $10 credit is amazing compared to other competitors like Cava and Halal Guys. To be honest this location in Laguna Niguel/Dana Point is probably my least favorite out of all the ones I've been to but it's still good, with the El Toro Road one in Lake Forest being the best one. Update: The spectrum one is now the worst one. read more
