I just love this place! If you want a healthy meal and a good variety of fresh lean proteins, this is your place. I had previously come here for takeout, but I visited for the first time dining in with a group of eight colleagues, and although we were a pain; making alterations to our entrées, the lovely girl working the register was very sweet and accommodating. I have been eating at this location for years and usually love it. Unfortunately, the past two visits have been disappointing to say the least. Both times, one dish was brought out well before the other plates. We were left waiting for 20 minutes for the second plate while the first one got cold. When the second plate arrived, the order was incorrect. We were told they would remake it but after another 20 minutes of waiting, we left. Great food and even greater service. I got the Gyro/Chicken combo plate. Wanted the wrap but they were out of the wrap Lavash. How does a Mediterranean place run out of Lavash! That's like a pizza joint joint running out of cheese lol. No biggie. But it does take a star away. Still the food was hot fresh and delicious as always. What really stuck out today was the service. The young girl working the register at lunch at 1:00 pm (wish I got her name) was very professional, helpful, courteous and service oriented. She even went out of her way to bring extra pita and hummus for my friend that wanted to take some home. Thanks to her for her service and very friendly personality. We ordered pick up recently and had an issue with the quality of the food. The chicken skewer was burnt beyond anything close to edible. The last few orders we had place random mistakes such as sauces being added when we ask for none and quantity of food decreasing (ordering extra meat but getting the regular amount). After receiving this recent order I felt that it was important to call the store and let them know the issue. I spoke with the manager Areli who apologized for quality and kindly refunded my ordered. She asked if she could personally deliver me a new order which I told her was not necessary but she insisted. She arrived about 30 mins later and handed me an entirely new order. She threw in a hummus platter that was on the house. She was extremely apologetic and sincere about the situation. She would not even accept a tip. The replacement order was one of the best tasting bowls and salad we have had at Luna. It was cooked perfectly and was exactly how we expected our food to taste. The reason I wanted to share this experience is because I believe they went above and far beyond to make this right for us as loyal Luna customers. I believe they genuinely care about their service. I have never had a restaurant go to this level to make things right and especially drop off new food. As most of us know one of the worst parts about having issue with a to go order is not having anything eat once you get back home. read more

Pretty mid tbh. We ordered online and service was standard. Tried the chicken pita and the beef koobideh combo plate. The chicken pita was so dry and lacked flavor. I was disappointed because I took my parents here with high talks of Mediterranean food since they'd never tried it. Now their only view of it is from this place. I have tried other Luna grills and they were never as bad as this place. If I want Mediterranean food in the future, this is the last place I'll go. I haven't been here in a few months and my son and I came after his soccer game to celebrate the season and his birthday weekend. Areli was very attentive and I have to say I was a bit needy, I asked her for 4 things at once even my 9 year old son was like mom that was alot of things. She won't remember. And guess what? Raul was extremely accommodating to my needs! I complimented him and the cooks with the great tasting Grilled Salmon! It had a nice char (I love the char flavor) and the seasoning was basic, salt, pepper and butter flavors. Glad it did not tasted gamy which a lot of places have unfortunately. The tzatziki sauce was very tasty and was not lacking any flavors. Raul followed up on how the food tastes and I gave him two thumbs up! I stated the Grilled Salmon has been the best in Orange County so far! Also, the Chicken Kabob was tasty too! Juicy, tender and full of robust flavors! The rice and salad was fresh. The restaurant is clean and tables and floors were not dirty or sticky. Love the music. I enjoyed having dinner by myself and it was comfortable.
