Exceptional food and service. I went there last weekend, and It was one of the best experiences I ever had. The food was incredible, and the service was extraordinary. It was my first time here, so I didn't know what to order. But Stephanie and Luisa went above and beyond and answered all my questions. Also, they were both very attentive and cordial. I ordered the Chicken Kabob Plate. I must say that I was thrilled with what I chose to eat. And I loved that my food arrived at my table fast, which was fresh and delicious. I usually love this location. I come here all the time and have never had a problem with the food. Unfortunately, last night I got the chicken pita which is what I usually get and the chicken was undercooked and raw in the middle :( now I'm having serious anxiety over getting sick from this. This review is for their manager (I think, if she is not she should be) Kat, who provided exceptional customer service. I previously reviewed how much I loved the Lamb Kabob plate. Well, they just discontinued it! The best thing on their menu. Not happy to say the least. They also had a great garlic sauce for only a few weeks and then changed it to some watery awful feta garlic and thought no one would notice. If it was not for Kat's exceptional customer service, I probably wouldn't eat here, but I love this location. They always get my order correct and go above and beyond. Everyone is always so nice and polite. Maybe hire Kat for your cooperate headquarters so you guys can stop screwing up your menu! read more

UTC is an ever changing organism, and Luna Grill is one of the latest additions to the center. Luna isn't bad, by any means, but in my opinion it is a bit overpriced for what you get (especially in terms of the protein). I ordered the mahi mahi signature plate with a grilled tomato, and as you can see in my photo, the amount of fish was very small compared to everything else. The taste was okay, but nothing special, and the fish was a bit overcooked and dry. The same goes for the rice and the salad. I'd much rather go to Blue Mediterranean Cafe to get my fix. I really enjoyed Luna Grill! Just a week ago I was roaming around UTC and saw this location opened up. I go to UCI so obviously I spend a lot of time here. I love Mediterranean food so I told myself I would definitely check this place out. I went in today because I got a coupon for a free chicken kebob platter. It's not the full plate, but the side that includes a few pieces of chicken on top of bread (your choice of pita or multigrain) and some vegetables. Truthfully, I wasn't complaining because I got a small meal for free thanks to that coupon. The chicken was amazing, so flavorful. I asked for pita and they mistakingly put the multigrain bread and were extremely apologetic but I refused when they asked to re-make it. And I'm glad I refused because the multigrain tasted great! Their service is also amazing. All the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. It's refreshing. The inside is small, intimate, and pretty if I say so myself. Very clean. Overall I'm very satisfied with Luna Grill. I mean, I got a meal for free but I definitely will be coming back to try everything (at full price of course). For about $13, you get a pretty big dish, definitely good enough for two meals if you can portion it out. - Mahi Mahi Plate - Comes with basmati rice, salad, choice of carrots or tomatoes, and pita bread. I opted for the carrots, which are thinly sliced and roasted--very yummy! The piece of fish was a little smaller than I was hoping for, but it tasted delicious and buttery. - Spicy Feta Dip w/ Pita Bread - Super yummy! It was definitely had a nice kick to it. When they bring out the pita bread, it's SOO GOOD. Very fresh and warm. I really wanted to savor the taste of the dip and warm pita bread, but at the same time, I didn't want the bread to cold--what a predicament. My friend had the Sirloin and said it was delicious as well. Overall, I really like Mediterranean food because it leaves you satisfied, without the overwhelmingly fatty feeling.
