Wanted something quick to eat on the go so I ordered the chicken wrap to go. Got to my car to eat it on the road and it was inedible. The wrap was so dry that when I opened it, it was split open. The inside was just as dry, lacking flavor, and 80% kale. I thought I ordered a chicken wrap, not a kale wrap? On top of that, the cashier was not friendly. The wrap and a bottle of water was $15. Wait times were quick and the establishment was clean, but I would not recommend this location. read more

What a great lunch spot, with a variety of fresh salads and Mediterranean plates and wraps. Friendly staff and seating options both indoors and outside. I especially enjoyed the Mediterranean Salad which has a bit of mint and lemon. You can add chicken or (my favorite) falafel too. LOVE THIS PLACE! ORDER CHICKEN OR SIRLOIN! SO GOOD! SETTING: This restaurant is located in University Center right across from University of California, Irvine. It is not seen from the outside so you would have to walk into the center to actually see the place. The spot is always clean and very well kept. The patio is beautiful. they have tables inside and out, and can accommodate large parties. I know they prefer you give them a heads up that way they can accommodate in advance. I love the design inside the store. It is super easy to order off the menu right above the cashiers. really cool and consumer friendly. SERVICE: The staff here are amazing. They are all friendly and happy to help at any point. I always have additions to my plates and they always are more than happy to provide recommendations as to what the best option for me would be. the menu is pretty simple, but the staff always makes the best recommendations. I can tell they have great management from how clean and how quick the food comes out. The consistency has been amazing and that is a great sign. FOOD: I just LOVE the food here. Literally everything i have ever ordered her has been on point. My favorite dish is the chicken and ground sirloin with sweet potato fries! soooooo good! The gyro wrap is also amazing with fries. As a vegan, I feel like I have a really great selection of options to choose from, which (to me) is kinda rare for the food locations here at UTC! I usually opt to grab the falafels as they are since they're light and easy to eat real quick. :) Also, I'd like to give a shoutout to Malina for being a really great employee there. I visit often, whether as a customer or when I'm working in the area, and almost every visit there, I've had Malina as my cashier. They've been nothing but kind, patient with me as I figure out how to order vegan, and a great person to have a quick, light talk with! This place has such good mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. I have been here several times and will continue going. To start, their human is great, they spicy humans is even better. I love their pita bread too. I usually go with a falafel and it's seriously OnPoint and the sauce that goes with it is unbelievable. There are so many options to choose from. Food Quality 5/5 Their proteins are always perfectly cooked and of high quality, especially the chicken and salmon. Juicy and flavorful. The hummus is nice and smooth, yet chunky. If you like a little kick, get a side of the chipotle sauce. Other great ingredients you can find throughout the menu are feta, olives, kale, and couscous. I'd never been to Luna Grill before. Came with a ladies group on a Tuesday night. Place was clean and bright with plenty of spaced out seating. I ordered the Gyros Signature plate. Nice quantity of Gyros meat, white rice and a side of salad. Plates were bright and fresh. Gyros is NOT the microwaved version.......they actually have a rotisserie in the kitchen. Extremely over priced EVERYTHING. But you know, if prices go up due to shortage or like cost of living and minimum wage... COOL, so be it. BUT when I am paying $1.75 for a TINY cup or SAUCE.... Fill the cup up... I got SIX schug sauces... (price used to be $1) when I got my receipt and saw I just payed $11.31.... For a lil cup of sauce.... I was PISSED. AND THEN I opened my bag of food... and physically saw the cups. Y'all I got skimped on everything. I was so mad about the sauces I didn't even bother to take a Picture of the plate. $40.34 for a chicken kabob a beef kabob and rice... with less than half empty cups. Never again. read more
