I've been to Darna a few times, surprisingly never left them a review. Couple years back they had this little counter selling desserts and we could take it to go. Loved loved the cannoli but maybe 3 years ago they stopped selling them. So sad We ordered chicken kebab with rice. It was bomb. 5/5 in fact, it's the most affordable entree on the menu at $24 or $24. The table below to us, all 3 ppl they each ordered this same dish. Chicken was very tasty and tender Burger meh 2/5 - not recommended The sauce they used on it, not so good and they didn't ask if I'd like well done. Medium. Should have known never to order a burger at a Mediterranean place. Chicken piccata 4/5 I suspected the sauce would be sour and I never like sour sauce on a piece of cooked meat. But the waiter said it's not sour and it was really good. Well, suffice to say the chicken kebab was way better. Maybe it's preference. If you like sour sauce.. you could get this item Server 5/5 Real nice server. Would come back

Oh my my - Darna where have you been all my life. This is literally my new favorite upscale Mediterranean restaurant. This place is legit y'all. Instantly as you walk in the vibes are just right. You will have a great meal. I tried the hummus and pita bread to start. You guys the pita was sooo soft fluffy delicious. I just wanna order 4 dozen of pita and just stuff my pillow bc it's that good. Y'all the lamb kebab!!! I freaking dream about this plate every night. If I was on death row and had to pick a last meal this would be my last!!!! Go here nowwwwww

Came here for lunch with a friend. We sat on the patio; our server was really great. We ordered a few things to try, the lamb cigars, the sampler, and the cauliflower. I really wanted to love the lamb cigars but those were a bust for me. There was a flavor I did not care for. The sampler and the cauliflower were very tasty. I ordered the Anatolia Kebabs; overall it was pretty good but the chicken kebabs is where it's at. My friend got that. Not a bad spot. Unsure if I'd go back to try anything else.

We love the pita bread and hummus -- absolutely delicious! The food came out beautifully presented and full of flavor. The place feels authentic and cozy, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was excellent. Thank you, Yeser, for the baklava -- we haven't seen you in quite some time, so it was so nice to see you here! We'll definitely be back for more.

Parking in legacy west can always be a little tricky. Legacy west has a garage attached to it. Came in early for dinner on a weekday and there was no wait. The sampler was fantastic and allowed you to try a little bit of everything. The lamb chomps were also great. I subbed out a side for the rice.

This restaurant is located in Legacy West, so there is plenty of parking available in the nearby garages. It also has pretty decor to go with the ambiance of the area. The food and service were a delight! My table shared the Muhammara / Pita (roasted red pepper spread, spiced walnuts, pomegranate seeds, pomegranate molasses, EVOO, microgreens). For my main course, I ordered the Darna Lunch Platter (hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, basmati rice, choice of chicken/falafel/lamb kofta/vegetable kebab). Both were delicious, and the workers here are very warm; it's evident they want to ensure everyone has a positive experience.

My family made a last-minute decision to eat dinner here with my mother-in-law for dinner and we definitely chose right! We started with the Darna sampler which came with a bunch of different dips, crisp, veggies, and pita bread. It was such a great variety of dips, but my favorite was the feta cheese dip. For an appetizer, we also ordered the lamb cigars, which were so good. We ended up ordering more, I've absolutely never had anything like that! They had a few cocktails on the happy hour menu so we ordered a round of old-fashioned and my mother-in-law got a drink called by the sea, which is also known at other places as the aviator. Unfortunately, our server did not know that to get happy hour pricing you have to actually sit at the bar, but they went ahead and honored the price since we were holding incorrectly so great customer service with that! Everyone absolutely loved their food, from the lamb ragu spaghetti, to the lamb shank with saffron risotto, the seafood paella with lamb sausage, the lamb chops, and the saffron chicken. We all tasted each other's food and were thoroughly impressed. We ordered a pot of hot tea at the end of the night to help the food settle in nice and warm into our bellies. We weren't sure if we were going to get any dessert but one of the servers told us that it was the perfect time to order the crème brûlée because it was literally prepared 15 minutes prior so we put in an order for two and shared them across the table. I must say it is the most delicious crème brûlée I've ever had in my life! It had orange blossom, which gave it such a beautiful, clean, floral, elevated flavor, like nothing I've ever had! It was so fresh. It was still ever so slightly warm. We love how clean and open the dining area was, and they also have outdoor dining, which is perfect for this nice weather that we are getting. This is a great place to eat. If you are careful to not have pork in your diet, they do not have a single pork item on the menu. Absolute excellent restaurant, next time I'm in Dallas I will definitely stop by if for nothing else the crème brûlée!

Perfect spot for an anniversary dinner! Even with a full house, our reservation got us seated quickly. We loved the vibe--especially the private corner booth and the cute table lighting. The Standouts: * House-made Pita: Light, airy, and a must with the hummus and tzatziki. * Falafel: Per our server's great tip, I added these to the Beet Salad. They were perfectly crispy! * Smoked Old Fashioned: They prepare this tableside with a great smoke presentation. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our night special. We'll definitely be back when we're in Plano!

We wanted to try something new and unique for Saturday brunch, and Darna certainly delivered. Our server was friendly and walked us through a lot of the menu options. Everything tasted so fresh and vibrant and was a great sampling of many Mediterranean classics. Our favorite had to be the lamb Chops which were absolutely flavorful and tender. Overall, it was a very fun and energetic vibe and would be a great place for dinner as well!

I won thousand percent I'm addicted to their hummus and also a few of their salads they have the freshest pita and hummus I've ever had in my life better than the food I had in Greece by far. Service is hit or missed sometimes that would be my only complaint and it is really weird that sometimes they close the patio.

Last night we tried Darna at Legacy West & I was really impressed. The place is bigger than I expected, with a full bar and great specials (half-off wine on Wednesdays) We started with sparkling water, a spritz, & a dirty martini. The chef's hummus was fresh and creamy with a touch of tzatziki, and the pita was perfect. We also had the mussels in a rich red sauce and some crispy, flavorful falafel with a beautiful presentation. For dessert, we ordered the kunafa and woooow!!!! . I always try it wherever I go, but this one stood out with a little goat cheese mixed in. So gooooood! Overall food was FRESH , well seasoned, staff friendly and very welcoming & drinks were really goood... the GM suggested a Turkish coffee martini at the end and i must say it was SPECTACULAR!! Definitely recommend this spot and I'll be going back to try more of the menu.

The sauces are amazing - tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. I personally love the chicken cooked in a yogurt sauce, roasted cauliflower, and chickpea moussaka as my top standouts, but truly there are too many delicious things to name. I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. There were markers for allergies / preferences on the labels, but I didn't attend too closely as I don't have dietary restrictions. They have tasty rice pudding topped with pistachios and fresh fruit as something sweet to pair with your meal. I enjoy the lentil soup for dipping pita bread in. All you can eat buffets are always the best for getting to try everything and making everyone in your party happy. It's a bit on the expensive side (around $25 per person before tip), but it's totally worth it for special occasions. Only downside is their meat. They give you a lot, but the chicken was dry and overcooked. They also slice the meat really small, so I wasn't a fan of that. Beef was cooked well, but wasn't a fan of the small slices of meat. They don't have water, only bottled water in the fridge. They do have a hot water dispenser though. We arrived early so the restaurant was not too busy but it started to fill by the time we left. The ambience remains upscale casual with a gracious greeting as you enter. We were given one of the half moon booths that faced outward to the restaurant. I ordered the hummus as a starter and it was very good. It's a mild hummus without a strong garlic element. It was very enjoyable. The wife started with babaganoush and loved it. The dip was smoky and very flavorful. For entrees, the kid had the Caesar salad and ate everything except the croutons. The wife had the spiced meatballs and loved them. The meat was tender and the sauce was very rich. I had the chicken kabob and I was in heaven. The kabob took quite a while to prepare, but it was worth the wait. The chicken was well marinated and very flavorful. Best of all, it had a smoky flavor from the char, but the chicken remained tender and moist. It was phenomenal. I wish I could have that every night. It came with sautéed vegetables that were prepared perfectly. And it included a white rice that had a rich buttery flavor. We all enjoyed our meal very much and we were happy to return to this restaurant. I need to put it in the rotation more often.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.
