First time ever at this place. Instantly impressed with the greeting I received. The bathroom: SPOTLESS. CLEAN. dare I say pleasant? The restaurant itself: spotless clean. The menu-lots of options; all seemed appealing and I settled on their Classic Luna Bowl. Great value for the price. Impressive freshness and I was "eating clean" I think! I actually felt uplifted by the meal. We ate outside on their nice patio. With a cushioned bench!!!! I could not have been happier with my lunch meeting today. Luna Grill is my family's go to dinner choice when we want take out and something on the lighter side. By miracle of higher powers it's one of the few places everyone can find something they like. And my child is the pickiest eater and my husband doesn't eat meat! Even though it's a chain I give Luna Grill 5 stars for being my pinch hitter and consistently showing up to help me win the lazy evening dinner game. I usually get the flat cut chicken plate. It's a little on the pricier side, but the portions are more than enough to have leftovers. The chicken is marinated, tender, and juicy. The chicken comes on a bed of white rice and a side of your choice. I usually go for the Greek cabbage salad, which is like a healthy vinegar based coleslaw. On the less healthy side they have yummy French fries that have a satisfying crispy exterior. No floppy fries in this home! I also want to mention that the manager there is the sweetest. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is content! I appreciate her excellent customer service. We almost always do take out, but I can say the vibe of the restaurant is casual and you can come as you are. My only complaint is the cost. It's not the cheapest take out dinner option, but sometimes I choose to splurge so I don't have to subject my digestive tract to pizza for the millionth time. read more

Luna Vida Bowl with Salmon 5.43/10- this was quite disappointing. I had asked for chopped kale instead of the cabbage which unfortunately was not evident in my bowl. This salad had no dressing (it was supposed to have lemon vinaigrette) also making it unenjoyable to eat. The salmon portion is so small also, normally their protein portions are bigger but this was just disappointing. I also asked for no feta. Pita bread side with tzaiki 6.10/10- I love pita bread especially from Luna grill however this was lukewarm. In addition they didn't give me any tzaiki sauce and I had to go back and ask for the sauce. Honestly a disappointing experience. I normally enjoy Luna grill however they completely butchered my order. In addition, my friend ordered a similar bowl 10 minutes after me and both our orders came out at the same time. The lady messed up my order multiple times when I was ordering and I kept having to repeat it, only to be faced with my order being incorrect at the end. ‍ pls fix read more

I've driven by this spot multiple times and have wanted to try it for a long time! It was the perfect location for meeting up with a friend for lunch during a busy workday. It was easy to order, get a table, and our food came out quickly. They have both indoor and outdoor dining plus ample parking in the 5 Points shopping area. I've never been here and decided to give it a try. Was not impressed at all: Pita: hard on the edges and rubbery. You can tell it's microwaved. Gyro meat: super, super salty- Yikes! Not a fan of the kale flavor either. Price: This was also a shock. For a gyro a la carte and a drink it was almost $20. I've had gyros all over town and this is by far the worst. Got delivery from Luna Grill tonight. Was delicious! I'm a huge fan of koobideh, so when I saw that someone was serving it in the Santa Barbara area, I knew that I had to put in an order. Food arrived warm with a safety seal which I always appreciate. The koobideh itself was great, well seasoned with that delicious grill char. Harissa sauce on the side was very flavorable. Rice was firm but a tiny bit watery, perhaps from the condensation of the container. Cabbage tasted fresh. Got sides of the grape leaves and fries. The fries were perfect, cooked exactly like I like them. Grape leaves were good, too, but less remarkable. Baklava was excellent! I'm looking forward to ordering again soon! read more
