This place is terrific for families with kids! Especially because (at least right now) kids eat free. I know it's a Mediterranean place but I first have to mention that the french fries are the best in town. Everything is healthy and flavorful, and doesn't feel like a chain. My favorite is unique spices so the harissa hummus is my favorite, especially paired with the grilled chicken. But the giro meat is also terrific. We ate here for a late dinner on our way back to LA from San Luis Obispo. The place was all but deserted except for us, but we did notice a steady pace of customers picking up for takeout. I believe her name is Ramhlea not sure but whoever the young woman at the register was tonight complete disregarded my pick up order but helped the guy in front of me who also had a pick up order then after I tell her I have a pick up too and she ignored me and helped the next customer who hasn't ordered yet which was very rude and on top of that I had to wait literally 20 minutes for this older guy to finish ordering just to pick my up order; Mind you he is taking his sweet time probably because he sees me behind him and he knows that I have to wait for him to finish ordering in order for me to get my food. This used to be my regular go-to for consistently excellent and healthy food. Staff then changed to include a rude person who never, ever, says thank you (I say thank you, they say nothing). On my last visit this same staff scolded me for reaching for my bag; as I'd been standing there with no one even acknowledging me, I thought of saving them the trouble - the meals used to be on a cart to take, but this time were on the counter. I realized it might not have been the best move, but a rude response after having not been acknowledged (the only person standing at the counter) was a real turn off. (No 'we'll be right with you" etc) Also, their expression was actually mean! I have not been back in months now. I want management to know, the exceedingly professional and courteous young man formerly working there was a big reason for the frequency of my patronage. Service means a lot. She was really helpful and patient with me because I didn't know what anything on the menu meant. And she went over the entire menu with me asking questions about what kind of food I like and we were able come up with some decisions. My favorite was the Mediterranean Street fries!!!! This kabobs place was not friendly at all. The waitress was kind of rude when I asked her my disk was burnt bad. All she said is that's how the food cook and walk a way didn't give me a chance to talk. I had kabobs all the time and know what how it should be done. Anyway bad customer service and the waitress was a cashier and then serving me was wearing gray shirt on February 15 at 1:50pm. Nearly is half of my skillet are on the napkins. Wow! Finally decided to try this place, as I'd driven past it a dozen times. Food was incredible. The chefs are on top of their game because food was fresh and up in only a few minutes. We got a falafel sandwich with fries and the chicken Santorini bowl. Perfect lunch/dinner servings and flavor was on point. The layout of the place is spacious yet cozy. A great spot for business meetings or college study sessions. The fact that they have wine for sale and beer on tap is a bonus. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Carlos found time to deliver food to my table and even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Haven't been this impressed with a restaurant in a long time. My first experience was not great mainly due to the excessive saltiness of the rice, but they've since calibrated their flavors and are now my go-to in the area when I want a semi-healthy meal at an affordable price. I bounce between the kabab and steak plates and am never disappointed. The amount of food you get is worth the price and includes a small Greek salad, either grilled tomatoes or carrots, rice, tzatziki sauce, and your choice of protein. I always check in to get the free appetizer as well. The staff is always friendly and the to-go containers the food comes in are very high quality and beautifully packaged. Being of Persian ethnicity, I am a harsh critic and usually let down by places that serve kabob. Let me just say, Luna grill did a great job and knocked it out the park! The thin cut chicken kabob was moist and flavorful. The basmati rice had authentic flavor, as well. We tried the spicy hummus too, which was delicious. Food was ready quickly, came out piping hot. Lina Grill is consistent at having great service and good food throughout all of their locations I have e been to so far. This is a newer location, but already run perfectly. I love their salad and usually add gyros meat which is a generous portion and well worth the upcharge. The wraps are rather small and a bit pricey, the plates are a much better value. Love their fries, some of the best around. Their sauces are great, bread is fresh, all around good food and a nice place to grab lunch or dinner in the area. read more
