No warm welcome here, manager took a break from scolding employees publicly to take out order and seemed annoyed when I was trying to figure out how to order an old school gyro. When I thought I had figured it out for $14 some sorry portion burrito showed up at my table. The bread/tortilla was so stale I almost pulled my teeth out. I didn't complain as to not embarrass my daughters but we did request the fries we ordered and they forgot only to have the manager bring them over and scold me for confusing the order and let me know we would not have to pay more on top of the $50 I had already spent. Went for lunch here last week. Took cashier about 5 minutes to acknowledge our existence. Ordered gyro and fries, no onions, and extra sauce. The dining room was so cold that we had to move outside to keep from freezing. Almost 20 mins later, we get our food. Gyro meat so thin it looks like shredded beef. No flavor. Onions piled high. No extra sauce. I didn't bother to send it back due to taking so long to order and receive food. Fries were cold and the only thing hot on my plate was the pita bread. This is not real Mediterranean food nor is it fast. Go to Stephens Market if you want fast, fresh Mediterranean food in Ventura. My co- worker also received cold fries. Update 9/13/18 Thought I would give this place another try. Never again! My gyro sandwich was cold. Meat, pita and the side of rice I ordered, all cold. I sent it back. Manager returned with another cold sandwich and rice. He came back with what was obviously microwaved rice and meat. I had to also pick the onions off my sandwich even though I ordered NO ONIONS which was written on my bill. My co-worker also received cold pita and cold rice. I love that they have vegetarian options and you can sub out meat on certain menu items. I love their falafel plate, the hummus, loaded fries, and the El Graco bowl with no protein. With the El Graco bowl or loaded fries, I buy falafels as a side and get no meat and add them in. Its so bomb! You cannot go wrong with the spicy tzatziki sauce. read more

My first time at Luna grill. Salad quality was good. It was fresh and looked appetizing. The bread on side was fine, it was lightly grilled so it was nice and warm. The ground sirloin was seasoned nicely, it tasted great and was cooked medium well which is how I liked it. It came with 1 grilled tomato. If you come here hungry, this plate won't really fill you up. I think they just need to double the meat because they give you a good amount of rice and once your out of meat. You can't really eat the rice. A second grilled tomato would also be nice. This place come 2nd compared to Raffi's kebab in Glendale. read more

The food isnt bad but it is overpriced. I wouldn't mind paying $10+ for a meal if they filled their bowls up better. I've ordered the same thing 3 times now and every time they cheap out and don't barely give you any of the toppings so it's pretty much mostly rice. Ate here for lunch. I wasn't impressed with the menu or the prices. I think it's pricey for what you get and the choices aren't many. So, I chose lentil soup and spicy hummus. Total was between $9 and $10. I was impressed with the freshness of the food, which is why I gave them 3 stars and not 2. The soup tasted homemade, so did the hummus and pita bread (which you get free with both sides.) But paying that much at a dressed up fast food chain isn't cool to me, hence that's why I gave 3 not 4 stars. I had jury duty and was already in the area so decided to stop here during our lunch break. I ordered the gyro plate and chose the carrot garnish instead of the tomatoes. The meal came with a small garden salad, a bed of rice, three tiny pita triangles, gyro meat, carrot garnish, and a side of tzatziki sauce. Salad: Mostly undressed lettuce with a couple slices of cucumber, tomato, and red onion. Somewhat tasty, but largely just filler salad. Rice: It's rice. What more should I say? It was cooked well. Pita: Pretty underwhelming, overly soft pita that tasted more like white bread than pita. Also, I think those three tiny triangles were less food than one half slice at my normal joint. Gyro: The meat was actually the most redeeming part of this plate! Maybe a little overly greasy (RIP my phone screen as I write this), but aside from that it was super tasty. Not a lot of meat, but enough to fill you up if you eat the entire mountain of rice that accompanies the meat. Tzatziki: A little heavy on the cucumber. Nothing too special or unique here. Carrots: Like the tzatziki, nothing much to report here. It's a lightly seasoned and grilled carrot. Overall I might had been a tad more generous with my rating if the plate and soda hadn't cost me $15. Really underwhelming overall though, and more or less what I expect from fast food Mediterranean. It just solidifies in my mind that chain food is mediocre at best. That said, the location was nice and clean and the food came out really fast, so it's not all bad. read more

The quinoa tabulie should be called tabulie it was so in appealing to the eyes and the flavor was mortifying to my taste buds . The hummus was the best part of the meal , however I would of preferred some pita chips and Trader Joe's spicy hummus , because Trader Joe's is actually spicy . The young women who helped me and took my order was very friendly and helpful . I doubt I will come here again due to the no existent flavor of the food that was brought out to me on my plate .
