Horrible experience. Ordered pizza yesterday and was served with the worst, soggy, uncooked, tasteless pizza we have ever had. Our family was so embarrassed as our guests struggled to eat. Even the waitress was so embarrassed to serve the pizza which was falling apart. The prices were ridiculously high for the low quality food. Wh I complained, the manager was only defending his high quality ingredients but failed to recognize the problem. Our guests felt sorry for us and said, oh. It's a small town. Ther is no competition So people have no choice. It was a total disaster. We will never go back. Waste of time and money. read more

Owner operated and it shows. Fresh, quality ingredients lead to awesome food. Pizza is the best around - even in NY. Chicken piccata was perfect - thin slices of tender chicken in a lemon wine sauce with capers. Salad that comes with dinner is a nice size and includes olives, cucumbers and fresh croutons. Chicken parm hero was also a winner. Chicken Caesar salad is my favorite - marinated chicken cooked to perfection with fresh crisp lettuce along with delicious dressing. We ordered a cold italian hoagie and the stromboli. Everything was so good we had to try a slice. My only regret is that I could manage to eat more! Really good food at great prices and portion sizes that leave you with leftovers. They're in a little plaza between Lowe's and Wal-Mart. We stop in from driving 12 hours we wanted pizza to go. We walk in the worker was friendly said hi . Took out order .we take the pizza to go . The pizza was then not much sauce or cheese on it . The slices were paper thin . The garlic knots were cooked all the way we literally stretch out the garlic knot in order to share it. This place is a gem. We stopped by for lunch on the way back to the Hudson River Valley from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area because the Yelp reviews were excellent. We were not disappointed. It was somewhat hard to spot in a strip mall but well worth looking for. We wanted something light because we had dinner reservations so we both ordered the cold Italian Hero sandwich. Words don't express just how impressive this sandwich was. There must have been a pound of meats and cheeses on each one along with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and seasonings that made it super delicious. My family celebrated my 64th birthday last night here. The food, service & atmosphere was excellent. They have a young girl waitressing & she did a great job with us. She was very upbeat, kept coming back to the table to see if we had enough to eat or drink, taking dishes away as we finished. We'll definitely be going back soon. My daughter and I stopped by to pick up some food to take back to our hotel after a long day on the river. The staff was very hospitable and accommodated our special request (make the rice ball "parm"). The food was delicious and considering we are from NYC my daughter's "amazing" comment on the pizza is a high complement from my 9 year old. The most amazing part about our experience happened about 3 minutes after we got back to our room. We got a call from the front desk letting us know that an employee from Luna Rossa had just come by to drop off my debit card because I left it at the restaurant. Thanks to their friendly staff for chatting us up while we waited, they knew where we were staying. They easily could have called but they delivered it instead. Super classy!!! Called to complain & she hung up on me when I refused to "come get" another pie!! Twenty minutes later owner calls says this has never happened before that my boyfriend picked the pie up an hr late? (he literally said this) Really? Says he didn't come right home? (he literally said this too) WTH lol. I ordered the pie for 615 he was home at 625! It hadn't even been an hour from the time it was supposed to be picked up! He was on speaker & my boyfriend flipped his lid when he heard that sad excuse lol... thats when the yelling started. Its aslo when the **OWNER** hung up! You've been in the business for how many years & don't know how to handle a disgruntled customer? Of course blaming the customer is going to piss them off even more, to the point of yelling...its human nature lol. Cold pizza AND Cold customer service! Never again! (BTW last pie we got here was burnt but didn't call, didn't complain, didn't feel like opening a can of worms at the time. Guess that'll teach me). Johns of Arthur Ave in Milford PA & Len & Joe's in Port Jervis are THE BEST places for pizza in this area. I'm a native & I should have known better. read more

This was truly a great find in Matamoras. Called for takeout and picked up twenty minutes later. Drove all the way from Otisville, an hour later the food was still hot! Well at least what I didn't finish that is. Filling portions at good prices. My 18 month old loved the spaghetti with tennis ball sized meatball! I ordered the hot wings(10 large ones) which came with fresh crispy celery and a nice blue cheese. Not overly hot but just the right amount of zing! Moved on to the White clams and linguini which had three nice clams in a not too buttery sauce. Again just awesome with the clams not overpowering the flavor. Came with a decent size salad freshly made, only I saved it because I was full! The kids meal could actually be enough for a regular meal. Very helpful staff made sure I could carry it out to the car as I was holding junior in one hand so they carefully bagged it all. Definitely need to make this a regular stop for great food again!!! read more
