We've eaten here numerous times of many years. Although, we hadn't been in, in over 2 years. Stopping in today for a late lunch bite we weren't sure if they were open for limited dine in or not until we approached the door. We did notice more than a few cars in the parking lot and an open sign blinking as we pulled in. There were signs on the door stating no more than 60% capacity allowed. Upon entering the door there was a line of tables set up for to-go orders. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering. We noticed two other tables with people set far apart. All staff were wearing gloves and masks. The tortillas are fresh and you can witness them being made while walking through the dining room. We ordered cheese enchiladas and chicken enchiladas and both orders tasted fresh and were hot. Definitely recommend giving these guys another shot if you haven't or didn't like it for some reason. Recently went to eat here again , but after this last time will never return again. The food was cold. The margaritas were horrible and when we spoke to the older male manager he told us we could pay for it or not pay for it. He really didn't care and just made excuses and didn't try to fix anything. We went ahead and paid for the food because we didnt want to deal with that manager anymore, we asked where the younger female manager that works there was we were told that she didn't work there anymore not sure what happened to her, but she was the reason why we kept giving this place more chances than we should have because she actually cared and actually would listen to concerns and made us feel welcomed and like a place you want to be at unlike the older male gentleman anytime we were at the restaurant he never came to our table but she did also anytime there was a problem. Will do anything to fix it as compared to this guy who didn't even offer to make our food in a drink nothing. We will definitely never be back to Luna and if that's the kind of place that works for you where you get cold food in horrible drinks and management won't even try to fix it and this is the place for you read more

Restaurant was ok smells like smoke when you walk in and was a bit rustic/old looking inside. I would call that a traditional look. Wait staff a nice and friendly and the chips and salsa are good. Speed of the food was good and the wait staff did check on us a refill drinks. The food however was bland. The queso had no flavor and was made with a ton of flour so it was thick. The meat did not have a lot of seasoning to it and the beans as well had no flavor to them. read more

I ordered about six dinners to go one day for my employees and had a nasty experience. A couple of the of the items on the dishes didn't get eaten at all. I don't want to blast this restaurant because I've eaten there before and their customer service, fajitas, chips, salsa, beef tacos, chalupas and quesadillas were always really good. Treated myself to beef fajitas at Luna's after my Dr appointment. Walked in to a pleasant atmosphere and was greeted immediately. The fajitas came out hot and sizzling. Guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo accompanied the along with yummy flour tortillas. Their green sauce added just the right amount of heat. Ok the beef was the best I have had. I ordered the combination fajitas tray from their catering menu for my sons birthday party. It is supposed to feed 12-15 people and includes meat, onions, guacamole, pico, chips and salsa and 30 tortillas. No rice and beans. That's an additional $30. It was $130 plus tip. I was serving 9 adults and 3 toddlers plus I also provided appetizers alongside the fajitas so I thought I would have plenty leftover as again, it serves 12-15 adults and we only had 9. Nope. We actually ran out of meat fairly quickly. I'm not sure how many pounds of meat the tray comes with but it wasn't near enough to feed 9 people, much less the 15 that they advertise it feeds. read more

Started going to Luna's weekly about 2 years ago. Food was decent - a few times there were issues but we just let it go. The margaritas are very good. Unfortunately, our last time there will be our last. My friend's taco salad was the smallest one I've ever seen. I ordered mixed quesadillas (fajita chicken/beef). The beef was not fajita meat - it was more like pot roast. Also it came with literally a few tiny pieces of shredded cheese. We pointed all this out to our server and he just shrugged. read more

So I went to the one at friends wood and it was my first time here . Now I havent been to the other branches but I have noticed the ice cream station on the right side of the entrance ( if your coming in from outside) and they only had vanilla flavor. I got a strong whiff of cigarettes so if your suffering from upper respiratory sensitivity or asthma prone be warn. The bar is out there in the middle of the bathrooms and booths so you have to pass by it to get to the bathrooms. Other then that I got the mix fajitas for close to 14.95 not counting taxes . Bathrooms weren't messy so that is a plus and I saw they have tv stations all over the restaurant read more

My mother and I recently ordered Togo about 7 pm from here and normally we never have an issue but we did this time the girl that answered the phone a few Thursdays nights ago was very rude and unprofessional my mother was asking a lot of questions about things and i understand yes my mother is older but for the girl to say god is she ever going to be done was not ok on any level. This made us feel very unwelcome. She was very unprofessional on the phone as well. We understand people have bad days we love lunas and we will keep going there because the food is amazing but we probably won't order Togo anymore we will just come in and eat because the service compared to dine in is very different. My friend and I meet there fairly often, the food is acceptable but nothing great. Our biggest issue is how we are treated there. We often have wine with our lunch or dinner, we tip well, don't make a scene and leave. The staff is rude to us, we are made to feel like our drinking is frowned upon but this of course offers them a bigger tip. We have made the decision to not go there again. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this place because it's close to home and who doesn't love good food close to home? We were greeted immediately but we said hello and how are you and the hostess immediately said how many? I hate that, have some common courtesy especially when that is your job. We were sat in a booth close to the kitchen and I ordered a skinny margarita and my boyfriend ordered a house. The had a very artificial flavor, mine did not taste like a skinny at all and it had no flavor of tequila at all. Chips and salsa were brought out and the salsa is like a picante sauce. Blah I don't care for that, I want a real salsa. Boyfriend ordered chicken tacos and he said it was all cold, even the chicken to the touch. He did not want to send it back. I ordered the stuffed avocado with beef fajita and it was the worst I've ever had only because they put pico de gallo inside the avocado. Yuck I hate cilantro and onions and had I known that I would've asked for none. The menu states that it is served with pico and they put a heaping portion on the plate too. Next margarita we order a top shelf and it was so strong it was like drinking tequila straight. It took us a really long time to finish it. Needless to say the server was very attentive and that is why I gave 3 stars but based on food alone I would've given a 2. Flour tortillas were homemade though! The tortilla soup came with the stuffed avocado and it was really good. Best thing about this visit. At least we can say we tried it. read more

Was my first stop in town. Salsa was good and there was green and red. We ordered kids meals and adults. The food had a good flavor the fajitas meat was fresh and had a nice grill flavor with not a lot to cover the meat with sauces ect. Clean and fresh taste. my kids like the burrito suzio (spelling). They didn't like sauces. The guac. Was ok. Better then another place I went local. My sis likes it and the kids have fun. So definitely returning when in town read more

Was great a decade ago. Good staff has all left and so have all the regulars. I hate to be negative. Our last time there was with out of town family around Christmas 2022. Bragged on the place and that evening we ended up waiting an hour for service and then another hour for bad food. I won't go into details, but I saw several tables get up and leave. Some regulars and I could not believe what was happening. Speaking to the management didn't help. I suspect they were short staffed but they kept letting people in. We haven't been back since. It was one thing when they raised the beef quesadilla price from $12 to $16 citing beef prices increasing. But today as usual I ordered and asked for extra red and green sauce. I love Luna's! The food is affordable and so delicious! Every time I visit a Mexican restaurant, I always go straight for some version of chicken enchiladas verdes, but not at Luna's. I've ordered their beef/chicken fajita quesadillas, chipotle chicken enchiladas, #7 combo plate (Chile con queso puff, ground beef taco, and shredded chicken enchilada), and lunch portion menu at dinner time (extra $2) #16 El Laredo (One beef or chicken taco al carbon with chile con queso on top, and three grilled shrimp on a bed of rice. Served with charro beans, pico de gallo and guacamole). OMG so GOOD with all this cheesy goodness. The chips are on point, fresh and crunchy. I love both the salsas they come with. The red sauce is definitely spicier than the green. Let's not forget about the Luna-ritas. Excellent margaritas I have had in a long time and not overpriced either!! My friend warned me about them, so at first I was getting the regular size. I can handle, so since then we've been getting the bigger size on the rocks. Finally, I tried the frozen - woooweee that packs an even bigger punch! We have been visiting usually on Friday nights when there's already a huge crowd waiting to be seating. Surprisingly, our wait time for a table of 4 is less than 10 mins! Totally beats Gringo's 1 hour wait augh for overpriced, crap tex mex. And you still get free ice cream!! The waitstaff is very friendly and quick to place orders. There was just one visit where the waiter took forever to get our order, but we were at a busy section of the restaurant.
