    Wild Reuben sandwich
    Paul C.

I ordered their Wild Reuben (corned beef, lettuce tomato, onion and Dijon mustard). Quite possibly the WORST sandwich that I have ever had. Everything was good except the meat. It was like rubber. Could not chew through. Had to take a fork and knife to it. Service and ambience were fine. I'll give them another try with a different sandwich. If the next one is this bad, then it's back to Subway.

I've been coming to lunchtime global for years. Everything in here is made from scratch. My go to is the soups because they are sooooo good and there's a variety to choose from. You can also sample them or ask for a suggestions. The cookies are phenomenal especially the Carmel apple cookie. I have to grab those before I get in line because they always sell out of cookies fast. They have pasta salads, salads, hot foods, sandwiches so there plenty of options to choose from. There's always a long line during lunch so have a little patience, it's worth the wait. You can get your food to go or sit in the cafe area.

I've reviewed this place before, and get back there every chance I get. This trip I had the Copenhagen salad, with added chicken. As expected, it was very good. For the first time, however, I took home a container of this chickpea salad. It consists of chickpeas and diced tomato, cucumber, and red onions, in oil with chopped parsley and garlic. It was excellent, and I'm likely to pick it up every time I'm there. I also have to give props to their monster chocolate chip cookie. It's a good 4-5" in diameter and soft and thick, with lots of large chocolate chunks. If you're down near Woodward and Jefferson, check it out!

Chicken pot pie soup and Cajun soup

I just finished a multi day fast and so I needed something light to break it. There's a soup place in my work building but it's not good. I came across this place and ordered the Chicken Pot Pie soup and Cajun soup. Both were phenomenal and full of flavor! The chicken in both soups was seasoned well and perfectly tender. My favorite of the two would have to be the Cajun soup though because of the spice and Cajun seasoning. Also, the chicken Pot Pie soup also needed a little more flavor and chicken.

Lots of yummy salad and 50% my first order through the Ritual app. Those are pickled onions on top.

I just had to remind everyone how much I love Lunchtime Global. Their service and food are top notch. Carrie even took the time too answer my questions with a handwritten note, and that was so nice. They will continue to be my favorite place to order catered breakfast. The Quiche! Order The Quiche!

The classic sandwich is huge! Glad I didn't get the whole sandwich. The soup bowl and sandwich combo is only 10.99. Ton of food for a good price. The Turkey Reuben is very good. Tons of Turkey. I'm not impressed with the chicken pot pie soup. Flavor was good but there's not much in it. Just a lot of thick chicken broth. Almost like cream of chicken with an extremely underwhelming amount of chicken, peas and carrots. No potatoes. I LOVE the pasta salad. Overall like this place and will go back.

Closes at 3:00! Not 3:30 PM.

It should say you close at 3:00, since that's when you actually close. Also, Google says you close at 5:30, that should be updated too.. off to Zoup. I still love your soup

They are a good options for a bit of a healthier alternative to lunch. They have a good selection of wraps, salads and three daily soups. Today, I went in the afternoon on my lunch, and ordered the Greek Wrap, which included a mix of iceburg and romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, feta, red onions, and olives (which I omitted) and a choice of dressing, I chose the creamy Greek feta dressing all on a whole wheat wrap. The three ladies who were working, all made part of my wrap, adding the ingredients to making the wrap itself. They were fast and efficient when I went to order to pay for my wrap. The prices are really expensive though, for a wrap, and even for the salads. So this is a once in a while kind of treat for me. I'm sure it's a better deal if you order one of their combo's, which I did not because none of the soups appealed to me today. With taxes my wrap came to over $8. Service is fast, efficient and friendly while being delicious all at the same time. Apparently there are two other locations here in Windsor, but this location here in the mall is the closest one for me to get to. Hubby and I laughed at how many times we zipped past the restaurant without noticing it. My husband and I both ordered the Major Tom Khatsu, which has a coconut chicken broth base. The chicken katsu pieces were the perfect level of crispy without being heavily breaded. There was also a nice little kick to the dish, which made it so, so yummy. Our friends got the Shoyu ramen with pork belly, and the Corned Beef ramen. The Shoyu dish seemed to be more enjoyable. Though we stuck with water, cans of Faygo pop seemed to be the drink offerings - other than alcoholic beverages. Areas for improvement include the waiting. Johnny Noodle King is a small place, with a main dining area and then what seems to be a bar area attached. We initially waited by the door for our table along with another small group (we were a party of four). We were then asked to go to the bar area to wait so that it would clear the door, but found it interesting how we were asked to move but not the other group. Also, we were standing away from the doormat we were not obstructing anyone's movements. The wait was long, and we asked if we could order food to the bar area (as opposed to waiting for a table). We were told 'no', yet there was a table full of patrons who were eating. There was no notification system, so our friend had to keep going to the front to see if our table was ready. Don't get me wrong; 'hooray' to Johnny Noodle King for having such great business volume. However, they need a way to manage it so that people will not be put off. Once we were seated, we did have good service from our waitstaff, and the food was very good. My husband and I plan to return to explore more of the menu. Hopefully, we can pick a time of day when waiting won't be such a big issue.

When it finally arrived, the grilled cheese was a miss. It was served on a flatbread and came out rock-hard--so tough it was barely edible--like it had been overcooked. The soup did arrive with it, but the overall meal didn't feel worth the wait. Customer service was another weak spot.
