Wild Reuben sandwich
Paul C.

I ordered their Wild Reuben (corned beef, lettuce tomato, onion and Dijon mustard). Quite possibly the WORST sandwich that I have ever had. Everything was good except the meat. It was like rubber. Could not chew through. Had to take a fork and knife to it. Service and ambience were fine. I'll give them another try with a different sandwich. If the next one is this bad, then it's back to Subway.

I've been coming to lunchtime global for years. Everything in here is made from scratch. My go to is the soups because they are sooooo good and there's a variety to choose from. You can also sample them or ask for a suggestions. The cookies are phenomenal especially the Carmel apple cookie. I have to grab those before I get in line because they always sell out of cookies fast. They have pasta salads, salads, hot foods, sandwiches so there plenty of options to choose from. There's always a long line during lunch so have a little patience, it's worth the wait. You can get your food to go or sit in the cafe area.

I've reviewed this place before, and get back there every chance I get. This trip I had the Copenhagen salad, with added chicken. As expected, it was very good. For the first time, however, I took home a container of this chickpea salad. It consists of chickpeas and diced tomato, cucumber, and red onions, in oil with chopped parsley and garlic. It was excellent, and I'm likely to pick it up every time I'm there. I also have to give props to their monster chocolate chip cookie. It's a good 4-5" in diameter and soft and thick, with lots of large chocolate chunks. If you're down near Woodward and Jefferson, check it out!

Chicken pot pie soup and Cajun soup

I just finished a multi day fast and so I needed something light to break it. There's a soup place in my work building but it's not good. I came across this place and ordered the Chicken Pot Pie soup and Cajun soup. Both were phenomenal and full of flavor! The chicken in both soups was seasoned well and perfectly tender. My favorite of the two would have to be the Cajun soup though because of the spice and Cajun seasoning. Also, the chicken Pot Pie soup also needed a little more flavor and chicken.

Lots of yummy salad and 50% my first order through the Ritual app. Those are pickled onions on top.

I just had to remind everyone how much I love Lunchtime Global. Their service and food are top notch. Carrie even took the time too answer my questions with a handwritten note, and that was so nice. They will continue to be my favorite place to order catered breakfast. The Quiche! Order The Quiche!

The classic sandwich is huge! Glad I didn't get the whole sandwich. The soup bowl and sandwich combo is only 10.99. Ton of food for a good price. The Turkey Reuben is very good. Tons of Turkey. I'm not impressed with the chicken pot pie soup. Flavor was good but there's not much in it. Just a lot of thick chicken broth. Almost like cream of chicken with an extremely underwhelming amount of chicken, peas and carrots. No potatoes. I LOVE the pasta salad. Overall like this place and will go back.

Closes at 3:00! Not 3:30 PM.

It should say you close at 3:00, since that's when you actually close. Also, Google says you close at 5:30, that should be updated too.. off to Zoup. I still love your soup

I can't believe the place is still here after all of these years. There are 2 types of subs here: Italian, and "Other Subs", so you know that this shop sprang from the vibrant Italian community that once populated Detroit. The Italian Subs at Gonella's are ordered according to how many layers it builds up (which I think is a unique concept). These layered Gonella Italian Subs are layered with a variety of Italian meats (Hard Salami, Salami Cotto, Mortadella, Smoked Ham and Capicola), provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions & Gonella's homemade dressing. Soft or hard roll. Extras: Peppers (+.50) Cheese (+.50) - (Turkey is reserved for the "Other Subs). 6 Layers Meat, 1 Layer Cheese --- $8 8 Layers Meat, 2 Layer Cheese --- $9 12 Layers Meat, 2 Layer Cheese --- $12 14 Layers Meat, 3 Layer Cheese --- $13 18 Layers Meat, 3 Layer Cheese --- $14 The subs are heavy and delicious. The Service is ultra friendly. And the atmosphere feels like and Italian Deli-Market. I recommend it.

Soft sub buns, tons of stacks of meat, lettuce and tomato or not. No one goes hungry after a sub here. Some deli spots tend to skimp on the protein, but not this place. My team members favorite is the Italian, 6 stacks. I usually will go for a turkey or chicken stack. They offer up to 18 stacks, haven't tried that yet.

Authentic Italian sandwiches made in a small, quaint deli with limited seating, friendly service…read morethat went above and beyond to accommodate a larger group of eight. I ordered the Italiano - Genoa salami, fire roasted ham, pistachio mortadella, capicola, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, on fresh focaccia bread. I liked how the sandwiches are not too thin and not too absurdly large. It's great value and just enough food to keep you over until dinner time. Highly recommend this place and would definitely revisit in the future to try the other sandwich options. That's all

I have walked by here a million times, but have never stopped even though I have heard great…read morereviews. Today was the day to try it out! The ordering process is very easy. They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. I am not sure if that is always the process- I was expecting to go to the counter to pick it up myself so that was a nice surprise! We ordered our sandwiches to go even though we were dining in as we knew we would be taking home leftovers. The seating area inside is no frills. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. They did appear to have 2 tables outside but they were not being used as it was raining. They did have a carafe full of ice water that was self serve by the door, and they had large cups available which I appreciated! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. It's a nice addition to downtown Farmington!

They have an extensive menu to include vegetarian options which was nice to see. They also have many local brands to include chips, sodas, and other small local business products (caramelized nuts, baked goods, etc.)! On the topic of local businesses, they also had a board which allowed local owners to post business cards and event alerts, fantastic for drawing the community together. Now, I ordered a Reuben as a lover of corned beef and sauerkraut. It was delicious and sizeable, a fair portion size for the money as well. The chips were also delicious having gone for the salt, pepper, and onion variety. A solid crunch and bursting with flavor. Among the positives I have two negatives, both of which are not adequate enough to lower their star ranking. Firstly, it took around 20-25 minutes to get our food after ordering. I rarely hold timing against a restaurant as having worked in food, I know lunch rush exists and things happen. To mitigate this (for those in the area) I believe they have an online ordering system, which I would recommend utilizing! Secondly, they do not have indoor seating, so it is a very grab and go type establishment. This is counteracted by the multitude of benches around Royal Oak, though it would be nice to have some amount of seating, especially for those with accessibility needs and those waiting on their food. Overall, Oak House Deli is solid and delicious and I will definitely stop by again when I am in the area!
