Lovely and I ended up forgetting my sunflowers and to order flowers
    Karis L.

This is my Shnitz!! I stopped here for sunflowers for my Mom and to see if I could order flowers to send to my Cousins family(she passed away)! I absolutely love this store and go here everytime I'm in town! The area has come up in a 2 block radius by building brand new condos, and businesses. The area is slowly cleaning and rebuilding after riots. This location looks untouched and they have placed a metal fence around it which gives it a rich touch of class. The store was still organized and everything was in its place. The pastries area still looks yummy and the 2 ladies working over there were really nice!! I liked that they support PRIDE and although, I'm straight... I support those whom I know and love ( LGBT ) as well as, others. Your life your choice!!! They goin talk about humans no matter what, so live your best life!!! YOLO My only complaint is that, they need a new security guard, because the one there followed me around and was horrible at it!!! Peek a freaking boo, dude!!! What in the" I think you're cute and might steal, so imma be creepy" is this!!! SHEESH ‍ I'm disappointed at this location for hiring such an amateur to do a REAL SECURITY officers job. Honestly dude, what can I possibly take with no pockets, a small satchel and in heels but you weren't watching the dude with the full diaper bag of a coach purse in there... duh!!! ‍ ‍ ‍ Anyway, I didn't allow the fake follower to chase me out but I continued on to my bottled water, and pastries . If you want to follow me I suggest doing it on social media!!! Sheesh catch up! Note to Management: Because of security staff, I can only give 3 stars... no one wants to shop and feel creeped out doing it! He made me forget my flowers!!!

I love this Lunds & Byerlys and shop here frequently. The location of this grocery market is killer and that is part of the reason I love it - many people are close enough to walk or bike to it. If you do drive, there is also plenty of parking. This particular Lunds location is also always well stocked too. I really dislike driving to the market looking for a particular item or flavor and finding that they are out of stock. I rarely have this problem at this location. The staff here are friendly and helpful which I always appreciate! The Lunds & Byerlys bakery also deserves a special note, the items are always exceptional. I always get birthday treats from this bakery for birthdays and special events - so yummy!! Also, the attached Caribou Coffee is nice and the Bachman's plant selection here is awesome! I don't know about you but when I grocery shop I also tend to do some plant adoption as well... This location usually has lots of options. The plants are not cheap but they are quality and well-cared for, so worth the price!

This is what I do at Lunds: 1. I grab that Buy One Get One guide thingy they put out. 2. I go through the store like a freaking vulture and only buy items included therein or otherwise on sale. 3. I buy the rest of my groceries somewhere else. Lunds is too expensive for this lil' CM to shop normally, but its acceptable in a pinch, their cheese department is exceptional and they do have more than decent sales. For example, I bought some deli turkey last week for $4.99/lb, which is cheaper than Rainbow.

    Boar's Head deli meats.

That said, when they have their Buy 1 get 1 free sales, it's a GREAT deal on grocery items and other items throughout the store.

I have been shopping the grocery story & wine shop for about 15 years. I'm in the store(s) 4-5 days…read moreper week, spending roughly $500 per month between the two. I have over half a dozen friends working there, the regular staff all know my face, and I even recently interviewed for part-time work there. I do not like paying 5 cents for a plastic bag every time I swing through for a few items, so I decided to bring my own bag today. It's a messenger bag that rests on my back, no side pockets. Many customers in the store carry purses and/or reusable hand bags. All of these people have immediate access to their style of bags, whereas my messenger bag would require me to take it off my back in order to open it. As I walked by a very indiscreet undercover security member I hear a man's voice telling her via radio to keep an eye on me. I was then followed around the store for the entire visit, again very indiscreetly. I say this as someone who has worked professionally in security from bars, to retail, to IT. When I realized I forgot an item in the produce section I walked all the way back across the store, only to see a male security member come out of the back and proceed to follow me to the register. I intentionally chose a lane with a bagger, and showed him there was nothing in my bag before handing it to him. At the end of checkout the cashier asked me if I'd like to keep the 5 cents or donate it. This was new to me since I normally do self-checkout, so she explained that the 5 cents is a form of encouragement to bring my own bag. I replied to donate it, then said it was ironic considering security followed me around the entire store for wearing a bag that I was now being rewarded for bringing. She snapped at me and said "Well if you have a problem, my manager is right over there", and pointed to the self-checkout where the manager present has known me for quite some time and is always very friendly to me. Normally I decline a receipt when asked, but the cashier printed it without asking me. Seeing as I was only making an observation and not trying to escalate like the cashier was now doing, I deferred from chatting with said manager, and walked out of the store after placing my receipt into the donation box towards the Animal Humane Society like I always do. I have enjoyed the niche items that Kowalski's offers that other grocers do not, but considering these other stores sell the same common products for up to 40% cheaper, and considering the harassment by security and the poor customer service today, I will forego these niche items in favor of shopping elsewhere from this day forward.

Made an impromptu visit to The Wedge last night, about 45 minutes before closing. Surprisingly…read morestill pretty lively....shoppers hustling around at that hour. I'm a lookerrrr, so I loved taking my time to really look around. The store is bright, clean, and stocked. Good variety: groceries, deli and bakery items, personal care products, and even a small jewelry section tucked in. Prices felt fair....nothing that gave me sticker shock. Didn't have much interaction with staff aside from a quick (and quiet) checkout, but everyone seemed friendly from a distance. Parking was fine, which is always a bonus. I'm not from the Minneapolis area, so I wouldn't make a special trip just to come here, but if I'm nearby and need something, I'd happily stop in again.

I was in the area so I hoped that the Wedge co-op would have smoothies, and they did! I purchased a breakfast fuel smoothie that ended up being a little too nut buttery for me. This is my fault, remember I've been sick so I wasn't reading properly! The smoothie maker happily gave me some pineapple juice to add which helped. He declined my offer of payment for said juice. The real winner is the two bites of macaroni and cheese and macaroni and mushrooms from the hot bar that my stomach handled. It wasn't too salty or too greasy. Once I have my appetite back, I'll def come back for full portions! They have a nice quiet seating area that's always been clean when I visit. Parking is parking at the wedge. It's never as bad as anticipated.
