My first stop back in Texas after three years was Lupe Tortilla, and it could not have been a better choice. The fajitas were absolutely amazing--perfectly seasoned, sizzling hot, and cooked just right. Tender, flavorful, and everything you expect when you think of Texas fajitas done right. The drink was just as on point: refreshing, well balanced, and made with care. Even though the restaurant is currently under construction, the experience did not suffer at all. In fact, the manager came by to check on us and took the time to talk about the renovations, which are expected to be completed by the end of the month. That level of attention and hospitality really stood out. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere--even mid-renovation. This was the perfect welcome back to Texas, and I will absolutely be back next time I'm in the lone star state!

You cannot go wrong with Lupe for Tex Mex. First time visiting the Pearland location as I'm closer to Webster but the food and service were just as good. Just going to put it out there but Lupes always makes the best steak fajitas for any Tex Mex chain- super tender, marinated, and flavorful. We got the family size option medium rare which was around 90 bucks which is pricy but the quality is well worth it. Our waitress was also very attentive and friendly. Overall another great experience and probably one of the better if not the best Tex Mex chain in the Houston area.

My first time eating here & I really enjoyed my meal. They start you off with salsa, beans & chips. I ordered the spinach v& artichoke quesadillas & was very pleased with the taste & size. It's was so much, I couldn't eat it all. Our server was nice & attentive. My only complaint was we were seated at a table next to the bar & I felt a little cramped because there wasn't much room & people constantly passing near us.

Fajitas were delicious...brought out smoking hot with all its fajita goodness. Plenty of accompaniments, and of course their famous Lupe tortillas that people only dream about! Kids Mac & cheese and fries pretty standard...but good. Not Kraft, homemade, which my kid appreciates. Stuffed crab avocado was delicious, very unexpected and refreshing...served over lettuce and jalapeño vinaigrette dressing. Chips and salsa/charro beans very tasty. Ordered sweet teas, very good. Ambiance, warm and inviting...loud and busy because it was Father's Day. Service was good, waitress was very attentive and helpful.

Amazing service, my waitress came several times to check everything was good. They are famous for their fajitas and gave me a small sample of their famous fajitas. The food was delicious and the portions were big. I have no complaints, really recommend this place.

As always Lupe is a quick easy and nice lunch spot. The food is always good, although I experienced a veggie fajita today with what I consider to be a key ingredient missing. Yes, the Onions! There were no Onions! Filled with colorful, bell peppers of red and green along with poblano's as well. Normally the mushroom has been portobello and it appeared to be a shiitake this time. Nevertheless, it did not affect the flavor of the dish in a negative way. Although. I did miss the onion flavor. Additionally, my dish was served with black beans and they are a hit. The carrots for me were not. Please, please do get the table side guacamole!!! Service is always great, I had the pleasure of being waited on by Serna and she kept the Tea and Lemonades coming, so of course the glass wasn't half full, it was full. Thank you! The noise level seems to always be adequate for normal conversation, no screaming necessary. Until the next one, Bye -Bye !

Wonderful dinner, excellent Margarita! Best Mexican dinner we have enjoyed in Pearland!

Delicious enchiladas with generous crab filling. We'll be back. The chips are tasty, guacamole is fresh and dinner was fantastic!

It is after not being able to find a good Mexican restaurant here in Canton OH that is prompting me to write this review. Gringo had some of the best Mexican food that I have ever had. The food was always delicious. It was my first time hearing about, and tasting charro beans, and they had the most flavorful taste; and Gringos was never skimpy with the chips and salsa. I like how the chips came in sealed bags to keep the crisp and freshness for to-go-orders. Maybe one day Gringos can expand to Ohio to show us what real Mexican food tastes like (Pappadeaux eventually expanded to Ohio).

This location in Pearland is near a shopping center and has plenty of parking all around. The inside is well decorated and has high ceilings and well-made furniture, plus there is quite a bit of seating so even when it is busy there is a good bit of room. We went shortly before 5pm on a weekend and only had to wait a few minutes to get a table. You can tell by how busy it stays that this is a popular place. I opted for the Plato Soldado (soldier plate) since they were running a Memorial Day/July 4th deal where a small donation was made for every order. It included a steak fajita taco, cheese enchilada, and pork tamale. All were excellent and there was plenty of steak inside. The sides were also great. My wife got the El Dorado (chicken smothered with sauce and other toppings) and really enjoyed hers. We also got some cheese dip and enjoyed plenty of chips, plus they give you some other sauces besides just salsa. All of their prices are quite reasonable and service was very quick, so I get why this place is so popular. Definitely check them out if you are in the Houston area, as they have many locations.

Service was a bit slow and our young server didn't seem very familiar with the menu nor knew anything about any of the premium tequilas in offer, which was a bit problematic as we requested more info and pricing of several -- and, every single time, the young lady had to leave for a few minutes and come back with an answer. Other than that, she provided courteous, albeit somewhat frustrating service [she didn't look too happy to be there :( ]. Apps started with a bunch of guacamole and chips - WHOA to the GUAC! Incredibly chunky, fresh, and obvi delicious. Entrees ordered by our group ranged from average to below average, but were all pretty well-seasoned. The standout for me, particularly because I find it harder to see offered at Mexican restaurants I typically frequent, was the COCHINITA PIBIL...in ENCHILADA form. Say WHAAA?! Yummmm! Sooo flavorful and HUGE. It smelled so good I devoured it for a bit before realizing I had not taken a photo yet. I'll note though, even that great dish was too rich to eat too much of, so it was definitely shared and we still had leftovers the next day. Would I come back? Absolutely! We just hope we get a different server that is better informed about their menu and outstanding tequila & mezcal selection.

Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

When the young man brought my order to the car, I specifically asked whether the Snack Attack came with chips and salsa. He appeared disinterested, mumbled "yes," and walked away before I could check the bag. When I checked, I found only the chips that accompanied the large queso--no salsa and no additional chips for the Snack Attack. I called the restaurant for clarification, and the gentleman who answered apologized and said he would send out chips and salsa. However, the same employee returned with only a container of salsa. When I explained that I had requested both chips and salsa, he then told me the Snack Attack did not include them and that they were only providing the salsa as a courtesy. The issue was not whether the chips and salsa were included. Had someone simply told me they were not, I would have gladly paid for them. The problem was receiving conflicting information, being repeatedly told they were included, and encountering an employee who seemed unwilling to provide clear or helpful service. Even after I asked to speak with a manager, what should have been a simple fix remained unresolved. As a frequent customer who spent nearly $80 on this order, I expected better communication and customer service. This entire situation could have been easily resolved with a clear answer and the opportunity to purchase the chips and salsa I requested.
