My daughter called to ordered for a 12 inch Margherita pizza. She told me it was $10 from the Google menu but when the cashier rang it up, it was $24! What a rip off. They really need to update their menu on Google. Asked the cashier for some aluminum foil cause I know my daughter will not finished up the pizza. Also, we are staying at a hotel and out of town. The cashier told me she Can't! She can but she wasn't nice and lazy. Will Never go here again. There are other pizza places that will appreciate my hard earned money and provide better service. Ordered take out from Lupi's and it was definately good. The garden salad was very fresh with housemade croutons. Ordered the bread loaf with olive oil garlic dipping sauce. Ordered via DoorDash, which I had no issues with as order was sealed in To Go container upon arrival. I ordered a mini calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, bacon and cheese. What I received was a mini calzone, but that's all that was correct. When I cut into the mini calzone, the ingredients were wrong. It contained hamburger, black olives, green olives, cheese, something red (maybe tomatoes), and corn. After cutting it up, I found a curly brown hair inside my calzone. I know it's not mine, it's straight and blonde. I have reached out to DoorDash about it, but needed to reach out to restaurant. I will never use Lupi's again. I have heard over and over how good Lupi's Pizza is and finally I had the chance to try it with friends and family. As it was mid-afternoon the place was near empty and we told the crew it was our first time there. Everything was explained to us, we place our order at the counter, go sit and they'll bring everything to us.... or we could "take and bake"... they make up a pizza and we can take it home and bake it ourselves! We opted for to eat there and let the experts bake our pizza. We ordered a large pizza and sat down with our drinks. It wasn't really time for a beer, but they had a great beer selection! I was really impressed with some of the brews they had. They even had Fat Tire! The place was decorated like a Mellow Mushroom, but without the mushroom references everywhere. The place was very clean and the music level was just right. Our pizza arrived and not only was a little bigger than we expected, but it was delicious! I cannot think of a place where I've ever had a better slice of pie. Seriously. Our pizza had plenty of toppings on it, lots of cheese and enough of that delicious sauce to make that pizza taste extra good. We devoured it in no time. At the end of the meal, there was still one slice left and despite how much we all loved that pie, nobody had room for it... finally two of us split that last piece just for a little extra taste! A surprisingly scrumptious roadtrip delight. In driving through Chattanooga, we decided to stop for some pizza, and being a Chicago girl, I never get my hopes up on pizza anywhere but back home. However, Lupi's was quite good. Big chopped vegetables, sweet sauce, plenty of cheese and most importantly crust was crispy on the oustide and warm and soft on the inside; not thick, but more of the hand-tossed variety. All I would add would be Italian seasoning on top. Truly the great start was with the fresh baked bread loaf and evoo dip. It must be the same dough used for the pizza crust, because it too was crispy on the oustide, warm and soft in the middle. Unlike many other area restaurants, Lupis has never wronged me. They've been operating for what like 20 plus years!? They know what they are doing. Thank God they understand the importance of fresh produce. Keep it local, keep it good. This place is so perfect I traveled to the hixson location since the downtown one has been closed for renovation. I'm glad they are expanding! My wife's mother had suggested stopping here for pizza on the way home, so we swung in with the kids to order a pizza and some soda before heading home. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and it took a bit to get to the table, and when it did it was slightly overcooked on the edges, but still soft in the center. Not sure if it was the cheese or the pepperoni, but it was extremely oily and my kid who loves pizza had about half a slice and said he was full. My wife and i were OK with the pizza, but it didn't stand out against any of the other places we have had similar pizzas at. We ordered a pickup order for a large pizza and calzone since the pictures online looked great. We were not disappointed at all! The pizza was perfectly cooked evenly with perfect balance of cheese and bread. This was one of the only local pizza places with fresh basil as a topping. My calzone was huge! Also perfectly cooked without a super soggy middle that happens so often with other places. Lupi's is my perfect pie (unless I'm in my own kitchen, granted). I like how they care about the community- a birdie told me their brownies use eggs from a local farm. They also have at least a couple local brews on tap. Can we say, yum to carbs? Lupi's pizza is definitely some of the best, if not the best, that I've had since I've lived in Chattanooga. It is a little more expensive than your average pie, but you're paying for quality. Personally, I think $8.25 is somewhat high for a Calzone, but what flabbergasted me was the price of additional toppings -- $1.15 each!!! HOLY COW!! By the time I paid for all the additional toppings I wanted, I could have gone across the street and done my grocery shopping at Food City. I've eaten their pizza before. I've eaten their calzone before. It's okay, but it's certainly not as good as they price it and think it to be!! Hand cut sausages and tomatoes. And the gluten free crust for my sons was tasty! The boys inhaled the pizza. They are picky about GF crusts as sometimes they can be tasteless, plastic filled garbage. NOT THIS PIZZA! The gluten free bakery in Chattanooga makes them fresh! I tried it compared to my normal crust and couldn't tell the difference. Friday night, and no one wanted to cook so we all decided on eating pizza. I checked Yelp and found this place close by. The place was very busy. There is not much parking, so you may have to park at the ice cream shop. The menu is simple, pick one of the size pizza's and pick your toppings that you want on it. We got the largest pizza (16") to feed 4 people. We still had leftovers. We also ordered the bruchetta. It's nothing fancy but tasted pretty good. The music was loud enough for a party, but my headache called it "Rocky Mountain Hell"! We moved to the patio and that was better. The pizzas arrived quickly.
