I can see how it can happen. Not a big deal. What is a big deal is how Michelle, the buyer/manager treated me. When I first called her up, I asked to speak to the manager and she said the manager was not in and that she's the buyer she could help me. I told her the story, she said, you cannot return used hair color. I said, it's not a color I used. It's an incorrect color in the tube that I purchased. She said bring it in. I'll match the number with my inventory number and if it's there, I'll take care of you. I was a little frustrated and annoyed at that but I'm like OK. I couldn't go in until Tuesday. And she was not in. The person behind the counter (very nice ) took a picture of the product and my receipt and said she was sending the picture right then and a message. So I left. ***note*** it was at this time that I asked the person behind the counter if Michelle, was the buyer and the manager, and she said yes. *** I come back the next day, Thursday. So I call before heading in. Once again, I asked to speak to the manager and she wants to know who's calling. So, I asked to speak to the buyer, and she's ready to talk. Then, I tell her I'm the one who her associate sent the hair color box and my receipt. And it's frustrating because she acts like she has zero idea what this is about but then immediately says it did not match my inventory number. So that upset me. And I tell her, " that's not true" and she says well you only bought 800. And I said no, if you look at my receipt, it shows I bought two colors!! Now,I'm very frustrated because the finger is being pointed at me and I'm the customer!! I have been calling now three times to resolve this issue. And in her tone, she says how she's not trying to give me a hard time, and I said it seems like you are. And then she says come into the store. We're open from whatever to whatever and hangs up. I get to the store and she is there. I say are you Michelle the buyer, and she says yes. I said I'm the one who's trying to return the color. And she acts like she has no idea, again, about what I'm talking about. So, one more time I have to tell her the entire story. And she knows it. I know she knows. She's not dumb. She is the manager and the buyer. She's capable. She's just playing some kind of terrible game with a customer who's trying to resolve a $13 issue. And that is how I feel. And this is why I won't be returning to the store again and why I had her remove my points that I had and the ability to earn points. I deleted the app. I will never go to the store again because of her, Michelle, the manager, that she does not want to admit that she is. And the buyer She could not have been more rude to me if she tried! Her whole tone, her demeanor, her handling of the products, her body language, her look at me. It was just not a good thing to happen for a $13 product. Of which I had the box and the receipt for. And I brought in the other box that I purchased. And before I left, I raised my voice and I said you are so rude. You're not a nice person and she said I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry she kept saying that. I'm like you're not sorry, you could've handled this differently. You're rude. Your customer service is terrible. the whole time she kept saying, I'm sorry. And I left. As I was walking out, she yells FORGIVE AND FORGET. And I replied, I will forgive, but I'm never gonna forget. And sadly, I won't. And I liked the store. They had great product. There is another lady that was there, that was always very nice. But if a little mistake happens, their buyer/ manager is not the person to resolve that issue. She is horrible. I cannot say that enough.

They kept asking about drug use? Maybe she should ask herself that because the whole appointment was nuts...I asked to speak to the office manager and was told I cant be seen there anymore...I didnt want to.go there anyways...my new primary care said she was his friend and referred me there. I knew they would act crazy already and I was rigjt. I went to my new primary care doctor after and he took me with no appointment and called in both prescriptions I needed NO PROBLEM! I WOULD NEVER GO HERE IF YOU NEED HELP. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE...EVER...PATIENT BEWARE.

Dear lord. I thought I would give this place another chance since I was in the area with a friend who is new to Lush, so I thought I'd take her. It's either feast or famine with this place. Last time I went, as you can see in my previous review, there was no one there and only one employee (who was so RUDE!) This time, because it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving I expect, it was PACKED. This store is so small, it was so tight in there. I had a few products that I didn't care for that I had planned to give to my friend who came with me, so I was showing her the 9 to 5 makeup remover. A sales associate swooped down on us and asked if we had any questions about 9 to 5. I told her that I was showing my friend the cleanser because I planned on giving mine to her. The SA started grilling me as to why I didn't like it and then asked if I wanted to get Ultrabland instead. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I'm not using Lush skincare anymore, because that would have probably started the WWIII of sales. So I told her we were just looking in hopes that she would go away. Because my friend is new to Lush, she was more interested in sniffing the bath bombs and stuff than having an overwhelming skin and haircare consult when the store was so stifling. I sort of went off on my own to look at some of the new Christmas line. The SA would not leave my friend alone. She shoved bath bombs in her face and was going on and on about how great they were, blah blah. You can only say "I'm just looking, I don't need help." so many times... So we left. This location is amazing! The staff is always sweet and helpful. I read some of the bad reviews on them and I find them pretty upsetting, if you don't want your pots to be denied then clean them, I would refuse to touch other people's left over facial products. I read what my pots say and they do state they have to be "clean" not somewhat clean. This people also don't Work on commission so if they are attentive and seem like they Care you walked in is because they actually do. Their costumer service is very out side the box so if you don't have an open mind you will be missing out on an awesome experience! Soo great!! I had the best experience here today, shout out to Luna who was amazing and super knowledgeable. I walked in casually, she approached me and then invited me to have a seat. We sat and spoke for a bit, all the while she was telling me about all these amazing Lush products and also let me try one on my hand. Ladies, my hand was radiating after the magic she performed so of course I had to buy this exfoliating cream, forgot the name but I'm sure if you ask Luna she'd know! Lush has incredible products for all skin types, I highly recommend at least coming in and trying it out for yourself. You'll leave feeling like a queen and I'm sure you'll come out radiating too!! I LOVE LUSH, and I spend a lot of money in there. But once in a while I just run in to repurchase something I've run out of, and not to go on a shopping spree. I feel like the employees at this (Glendale Galleria) LUSH get snippy with me when they find out I'll only be spending $10. Especially the goth-y girl with heavy black bangs, and especially if I ask for a sample of something. What they don't know is that I'll spend $150 the next time I go in there, probably buying the things I got a sample of the last time! This is the ONLY LUSH store that I feel like this in. My other LUSH is Universal City, where the employees and always nice and helpful. I'll be avoiding the Glendale store. read more

Lotus was so knowledgeable about hair products and took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they went above and beyond to make sure I left with the perfect items for my needs. Don't go to this store unless you want them to force you to buy something. I had gone a couple months ago with my friends, and they were being really pushy about purchasing their products. So I stopped going for a couple months, recently I was in the area and stopped at the mall to check out what they had, and safe to say nothing has changed. One of the workers was really aggressive when trying to get us to purchase a product, my party and i did not feel welcome. I would take over an hour because their system is not user friendly. The last time which was a few months ago after fighting with their website three nights for an hour each i gave up . It would only allow me to buy ONE of most of the items I wanted and I had too many in my cart, Most likely a glitch because I would assume they'd have more than one of 20 different items I needed. I had a coupon which would save me FORTY dollars off $200. A few days later I went to the store and my checkout was well over hundreds of dollars. I was told the coupon expired a few days before. She said there was nothing she could do , to call the office. I did that. I was on hold for over 20 minutes and when I finally talked to a rep she said there was nothing she could do. I told her it was the principle at this point, I could shop down the street at their competitor a half mile away. She said she would have someone contact me. They called and asked for the number on the coupon. Funny, she couldnt even find it. Then she asked for me to upload and send it. Which I did. I received a call saying there was nothing they could do. My guess is an incompetent office worker, just like most of their incompetent store workers. Typically I have more inventory than the store which if you hit it right stocks only a few of each item. Frustrating, but it had always been my go to. NOT anymore. I only go if I need something SALON CENTRIC does not carry. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgable and I wish I went there long ago. Their prices are cheaper on so many things and they are stocked. I spend thousands per year on supplies and retail products. I only wish I gave the past thousands elsewhere also. I do have a customer rep who checks in occasionly because I typically always liked to do it myself, because when she does it, theres always a problem with what the warehouse packs. I would receive wrong items all the time. Done with being frustrated. They lost alot of business for a $40 coupon!

There's a reason it's a best seller. Over the years, I have tried their other products and, admittedly, I can't say I have found any duds. But nothing really stands out to me that I'm willing to fork over the money. The hand cream is worth the 35 dollars, other products, not so much. On the other hand, the clerks always give you a ton of free samples of hand creams, shampoos, conditioners and oils for the face and body. I love storing these in a drawer in my bathroom and throwing them in my toiletry bag before going on a trip I will definitely continue to shop here.
