I first stopped in 2 weeks ago to get some items for a few of my clients gifts for Nurse Appreciation Week. I was in a pinch and had to jump in and out before heading to Vista to pay for a lunch. I stopped by the store in the mall and was met by James. The store was not supposed to open for another 15 minutes, but James realized that I was in need of help. He opened up the store early, thoughtfully guided me through the different pre-bundled packages and help me identify the best gifts for the different types of nurses that I would encounter. He took extra steps to make sure that all the gifts that I was buying would be able to survive the heat in my car as I would be delivering them throughout the day. This level of customer service is exactly what I needed. Although this store is completely out-of-the-way for where I live, I make a special point to come here to buy all of the Lush products that my clients love. James helped me out again today and as usual, helped me find the right gifts. Alyssa rung me up and was very pleasant. You two are rock stars! read more

I don't normally write reviews, but the gentleman and lady who was working yesterday in the afternoon were so helpful and sweet. The guy there helped Me pick out some skin care and bath bombs and was so nice. I love this lush, nothing but nice things to say. read more

My roommate struggled with acne problems for years! She had been using medication, but she decided to stop after a few years. Her face broke out really badly, and nothing was helping. She decided to try lush products as a last resort before going back on her medication. Her skin has never looked better! After I saw her results, I had to go get some products for myself! The staff was so helpful! They're all so sweet, and they created an overall wonderful experience for me! My skin is very different than my roommates (mine is ridiculously oily, and hers is ridiculously dry), but the products work just as great on my face! I'm also so grateful that the products are cruelty free! Ugh, love it!!! I believe the products I got were "Fresh Farmacy" and "Full of Grace." Seriously amazing stuff! Full of Grace melts onto your face and it feels so relaxing! This is where I will be getting my face products from now on! read more

I have been going here for years and I loved the staff and the vibe and the products. Lately though, I don't even want to shop here anymore. The staff have become pushy about certain products and stingy about samples. Twice in a row last month I came in to shop and when I asked for a sample of two different jelly face masks (you gotta test them before you buy if you have sensitive skin) I was told that I really only should try this other one. That was the sample I was given. I was refused the ones I had wanted to try. I was also asked "do you want that one because it smells good? A lot of people do that and end up trying things that aren't the best for them." When did it become customary to refuse a customer from trying anything? Mind you, I never come in for just samples and leave. I always buy something. I used to love you Lush of Escondido, now I'm just really disappointed that I have to shop only me or travel far to get the treatment a customer should receive. read more

I had a wonderful experience here! The two workers (one of which I believe his name was James?) that helped me out were so friendly and very knowledgeable about ALL the products. They helped me find exactly what I needed for my thick frizzy unruly hair. I trusted their opinions and advice and I LOVE my products! The curly wurly shampoo really helps define my curls and the R&B hair moisturizer calms all the frizz. I will definitely continue to buy products here and am excited to try new ones! I bought lush products for the first time with the implications that their ingredients are natural. However, after I got home and studied the ingredients listed on the bottle and online, some/most of the ingredients are not safe to use. Google it up yourself! Don't be fooled by the marketing, check what's in it really. read more

This place is a minimalist/ zero waster's dream come true! Came in for plastic-free shampoo, and walked out with shampoo, conditioner, and the best face mask I've ever used! The sweetest associate Leah answered ALL of my questions, and even led to show me products I can use in the future. She was very accommodating to my "plastic free lifestyle" (thank you god! You have no idea how many people think I'm crazy), and she did it all with a smile, charming charisma, and overall wonderful attentiveness to her customer (me) Coming back for all the rest of my plastic free, cruelty free, all natural products you have to offer. This Store has great Staff. I brought my son in and they make it a very fun experience for him. We got samples of Lush and I had never seen so many bubbles in the tub and neither did my son! This location has a tiny store loaded with things to make bath time fun. read more

I'm currently in the process of finding something that works for my skin and this company has been amazing about helping me! I tried something out and it didn't work so they let me bring it back and exchange it. I had one associate who was amazing! I talked to her on the phone the day before to see if I could bring it back. She happened to be working when I came in and she remembered my name and that, to me, truly says something about your customer service. She went through a million products with me and assured me that we'll find something to work if what I have now doesn't. Great customer service and great company as a whole! read more

If you are trying Lush for the first time I would recommend a different location. I was looking for something specific, as I have received Lush products as gifts and never actually purchased them for myself. I asked if there was any products available for a seasonal scent and I was met with a disgusted look and a harsh "No" for a response. The employee was literally standing in front of the specific product that I asked for and had to locate on my own once she moved out of the way and exited the store to get on her phone... terrible customer service. Love the products but it is always too crowded in such a small storage unit sized space. Not much of a pleasant shopping experience. They need to circulate air through so that you don't get a headache from the strong smell. You start smelling it 6 shops down. I have gone 3 times and the 3rd time was my last. I'll have to see if there's a LUSH in UTC, Mission or Fashion Valley. read more

I'm a total Lushie! The only bad thing about Lush is that it's so easy to drop $100 in one trip. recommendations: -be a good customer and ask one of the salespeople about what you're looking at. Even if you're not considering buying, they know more about it than you and can tell you how many uses you'll get out of a bubble bar so you don't waste it all on one go, what to use for your skin type, and if you talk to them about what you like and don't like they can help you. Everyone who works here is super nice, and as a repeat customer I really appreciate that they remember my name or certain things I've said in the past. -I like Sandstone soap as an exfoliator, but now I'm mad I got so much of it because the christmas soap is AMAZING -I have sensitive skin and everything here is a-ok and great, even the glittery stuff. -Ocean Salt is great, not a huge fan of ultrabland -So White shower gel during the holiday season, paired with Celebrate lotion is to die for -you can ask for samples if you're unsure how something will react on your skin. And yes, the price is expensive since it's a UK store and you're getting UK prices - where incomes aren't as broken as they are in the US.....BUT you have to realize that everything with Lush is ethically made, not animal tested, made from better quality materials, they go to all ends to uphold their minimal packaging promise, and this isn't a company that (from what I've heard) treats their employees poorly. Also if price is an issue I'd try one of the shampoo bars - they're amazing, the smell lasts for a few days in your hair, and one of them lasts 3x as long as a bottle of shampoo with none of the packaging waste - so it's more economic and makes you smell nice. read more

I had the best experience at this location. A young girl, Miranda helped me out and she had so much product knowledge and was so charming. She was there to answer all of my questions with a smile on her face and a great attitude. She definitely made my day and is the reason I love coming back so much. Along with Miranda, all of the staff is so helpful and ready to give you advice at a moments notice. This is some of the best service I've ever seen in retail. read more
