I have been a long time customer at the Lush Nail location on Moreland, just for the simple fact that I have always had good service, and have always felt welcomed. Keep in mind there is a closer Lush location to where I live, but Moreland (about 25 mins away from me) has always treated me like family. I recently went and there was a newer nail tech, her name is Kiya, and I just want to say that she was absolutely great. While I have never had a "bad nail experience" here, she did a fantastic job, and my cuticles look damn near perfect. Whether you're a regular or happen to stumble upon this location, if you want a quality experience paired with good customer service, I strongly suggest you check them out. read more

TLDR: poor quality, poor customer service, subpar sanitation. Super disappointed. Midway through I already knew I wouldn't be back, but it wasn't until the nail tech and cashier started arguing that the quality was bad because I had gotten regular polish not gel polish that I became upset. I went in for a mani pedi with regular polish. The tech was rough and rushed with cuticles, foot scrub, etc. He did not use newly sanitized tools, and used the electric nail filer on my thin, natural nails and the grater foot filer without asking consent. and I was really disappointed that the"massage" was really no more than applying lotion. But then the polish application was a joke. My 10yo niece can do a better job. I expressed concern midway through the polish but was told it would smooth out with a top coat. Unsurprisingly, it didn't and I said I wasn't happy with it. Then the tech started arguing that it was because I chose a regular polish and said that if I wanted a smooth polish I should've gotten a gel. I asked him to remove the polish and went to the desk to pay. I politely let the cashier know i wasn't satisfied with the polish application and didn't end up getting it. He said the polish is included in their $20(!) manicure and it didn't matter if I didn't get it. When I questioned that, Another tech next to the desk asked if I still got the lotion on my hands. I couldn't help but laugh and said I didn't want to pay $20 for lotion. I said more firmly that the application was done poorly and I wasn't satisfied. The cashier then started to argue that it was because I didn't get gel polish. (Please.. I've gotten regular manicures for 20 years.) I firmly said that was not true. I've been a customer here for almost a year and today was so bad . Tina who I always go to tore my real nail off which caused it to bleed . I didn't get a sorry or maybe a discount when I come back I received no compensation at all. she stated to me that she seen the blood but it's not like she meant to do it and told me to come back next week once it healed . she then proceeded to work on the next customer . Poor job. Nails chipped with a gel mani within 24 hours. Refused to refund even after promising to have manager call (manager never called). Other locations are cleaner with better quality work. Their reviews are skewed. I called back to speak with a manager and he offered to pay me to remove my review. I asked why if it's accurate? I guess the lady doing my nails assumed I wasn't going to tip... or tip well after doing my nails , she asked for my cash app to tip her... I asked her if she took cash, I handed her a $20 and she said $3 tip , $5 Tip I said no you don't want the $20. Worst nail salon ive ever been to. I left bleeding and several other fingertips filed raw. The nail technician said it was my fault because I didn't tell her I was sensitive. I gave this place two chances. Firs time I got a gel polish that started cracking and lifting within a week. Decided to give them another try and got sns with tips & a pedicure this past Wednesday. The girl doing my pedicure was really nice and did a good job. The girl doing my nails, not so much. She seemed to be in a rush and short with me. Towards the end of my service another client came in complaining about her nails cracking, so someone else took over my nails while she fixed the cracked nails. The girl who took over didn't know what step I was on with the nails and told me to wash my hands before the finally coat was done. As a result two of my nails were scratched and I didn't realize until I was out the door. I came back and pointed that out only to be told I didn't give it enough time to dry. My issue is if she would have communicated to the person taking over, my nails would have been fine. Fast forward to Friday and I notice one of my nails cracking just like the other client complained about. I haven't done any heavy lifting or snagged my nails. I came back and the same girl that did my nails took off the top coat and redid it, but I can still see the crack!!! What was the point?? It seems either their products are of poor quality or their technique. Update: my other thumb is starting to crack as well. I haven't done any heavy lifting or damaged them. read more

The technician was tough with my hands and did not listen to my requests for length at ALL beware ! they want to make an extra 10$ bucks off of a longer nail. once my nail job was done poorly, roughly and wrongly I expected to atleast pay what I agreed to pay. nope it has been jacked up to 68$ to top this off keep in mind all i requested was a short simple acrylic french tip. The owner was rude and disrespectful. I was so upset I considered refusing to pay ! after he jacked up the price on me 3 times ($45,$58, $68) they have no set nail bar menu which made me suspicious to begin with. to be clear money wasn't the issue here they were being shifty and I became suspicious rightfully so I would say don't go here but that's not even enough. report this business to the better business bureau and have them shut down. they are fraudulent and offering awful service and rudeness now if you want to be pampered visit the Lush nail bar at atlantic station. they are kind and i don't ming splurging and tipping there. Yesterday my daughter and I visited Lush for pedicures. During the week we called ahead to schedule an appointment for 12 noon Sunday. We parked in the parking deck in the area designated for the complex retail customers. There are two entrances, one from the garage and the other from the street side. We took the short walk to the street side. We were a couple minutes early and was pleased that at 12 noon on the dot, the doors were unlocked and were pleasantly greeted. Once inside we were shown to the spa pedi chairs and offered bottled water. By 12:05 another nail tech arrived and our service began. Both techs were awesome; professional and took care to do the service we requested without trying to sell us on other services. After our polish was applied, we sat for a few minutes in the drying area, then checked out. Prices are comparable to other shops we've been to. Pedi $25. We sign up for their Envie Rewards app which gives cash back for frequent visits. Overall a fantastic first visit. read more

Clearly should have read the reviews before going in. I asked for almond shaped nails, had a discussion with my technician about it, and showed her TWO pictures. Was clear about not wanting to lose any length. I looked at my hand 20 seconds later and she had taken off half the nail and filed them round. I politely told her that's not what I want, showed the picture again and explained how she could fix what she had already messed up. Two more failed attempts and she was clearly frustrated that I kept asking her to fix it. THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT IM PAYING FOR. She stomped off after that and bitched about me in full volume to anyone that would listen. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. While they did send a second technician to fix the mistake, the damage was done. AND NOT ONE PERSON APOLOGIZED TO ME. And to top it all off, it was $15 more than it should have been. Will %100 percent not be back. read more

I've gotten a few manicures and pedicures here -- both pedicures (regular polish) have been well done (great massage, shaping, etc.) and lasted a long time. The manicures (both gel), however, have begun chipping almost immediately -- leaving a lot to be desired on my end. Additionally, the last time I went, I came in and asked for an eye brow wax and a pedicure. The lady went right along with my pedicure, but when it was over, goes on to tell me that the eye brow wax lady is not "in today." I was frustrated that I wasn't told this at the start of my service when I made it clear that that's what I was coming for. I'll probably return to Lush Nail Bar because its location is so convenient for me, but only for pedicures in situations where I don't have time to go out of my way elsewhere. read more

Their best nail tech which was a younger girl that was current on new nail styles left soon after. Helen is very nice but this place gets worse and worse every visit. I was there for FOUR hours on my last visit for a full set and pedicure. My nails were painfully ripped off and this was the second week I left upset because I hated my nails. The absolute worst nail place. Do not go here! I've been there 3 times in a week due to poor quality. The first time, the nail tech didn't do gel correctly. I tried repeatedly to tell her the right way but she kept shushing me. Fortunately the owner was there that day and he told me they'd make it right. I went back in 2 days later and the manager, Ben, re-did my nails in gel to fix the issue and said come back if I had any issues. Typically gel normally stays on for 2-3 weeks in my nails. It chipped awfully after 2-3 days. I called and he said come in and he'd take care of me. I got my nails done a 3rd time to fix the issue and they charged me! I asked him to call the owner but he wouldn't. I was pretty upset and frustrated. As I was walking out, I said I'd never give them my business again. He smirked. Wow. Wow wow wow. Absolutely do not go here. This was probably the worst manicure experience I have ever had. Firstly, their color and brand selection is awful. No big deal, but make a note of it. Secondly, I sit down and the guy starts taking off my gel polish with one of those electric grinder thingies. I tell him I'm very sensitive and that hurts me. He continues. I'm flinching and he keeps going. Then he brings out a bowl, dumps half a bottle of acetone in it, and tells me to put my hands in and "relax". So with my hands up to my palms in acetone, I sit there for about 10 minutes. The guy scrapes his own fingernail on mine to see if the gel is ready to come off. When it's not ready, he again gets out the electric grinder and takes off another layer of the gel, then starts to soak my hands again When I (for like the 10th time) expressed my displeasure, the manager came over and told him to do it with cotton and foil. Finally. So then it's been like 25 minutes and I still have gel on my nails and the skin on my fingers is white with dryness. When the gel is finally ready to come off, the nail technician begins removing it WITH HIS OWN FINGERNAILS. It's either tool overkill or no tools at all in this place. Where are the correct tools??? At this point I told them I only wanted the gel removal, not a gel manicure. After most of the gel is gone (almost an hour later), the manager comes back again and tries to get me to do gel on my nails. Not happening. I will go elsewhere. The nail technician then used a nail file to get the rest of the gel off, started filing them this weird square-ish shape until I stopped him and told him I'd do them myself at home, put oil on my fingers, and told me to go wash. As my nails have deep crevices in them from the file, I assumed he was going to buff them or something, so I sat back down after I washed. He looked at me and asked if I'd like something else. Nope. I used to see Tracy, after about a month or so Tracy quit due to management issues (I was told this by another tech) my last visit with them wasn't so great. I scheduled an appointment with the manager who totally botched my nail shape. I just walked out. I went back the next day to allow them to fix their mistake. I had to get my nails cut all the way down because he botched the shape on too many nails. Even now I'm not 100% satisfied with my nails but they look a little better.
