Nail technician did a poor job of performing a pedicure, sloppy nail polish application - I had to ask twice to fix it. And he forgot to apply any moisturizer. Also tools are not sanitized!!! When I asked if tools were sanitized, nail technician responded yes and wiped it with a nail polish remover lol. I brought that up to the front desk girl, her response was - "It is a Nail salon!" This was an extremely disappointing experience. I've been getting my nails done regularly for the past three years, and this was by far my worst experience. The nail tech seemed more concerned with her own nails than with mine and never asked about my preferred length or shape. The quality of the work was poor and felt rushed. On top of that, I was overcharged, with extra fees added without clear explanation. This was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. I had a great experience at Beellagio. I was greeted welcoming as soon as I walked through the door, and everyone after me. I was promptly sent to the back for eyebrow wax in private room, she got the shape perfect. Pedicure to follow right after. Nail tech arrived early and started on my nails while getting my pedicure. I felt very comfortable with both techs, especially my nail tech Melissa. We had great "talk time" she's such a vibe, so down to earth and genuine. The tech on my feet was gentle and pain free, I've had bad experiences in the past...can't remember her name please forgive me. My end result was what I wanted. White toes and med/long ombre. I made an appointment on Yelp for Saturday afternoon and got a text confirming my reservation. Upon my arrival, I was greeted promptly and warmly. After selecting my color, I got seated in a massage chair and given services menu, which was a bit confusing in that I wasn't sure if one of the offerings was a take home kit or something done at the salon. My technician didn't speak much English so I didn't ask. They do offer wine or water. I went for both. The service was pleasant and the tech was gentle. They do charge extra for gel removal. After I was done, I went over to the drying table, which also housed quick drying spray. The only gripe I have is their magazines are from 2019 and mostly "People". Yesterday I decided to give this place one more try. Not again. It's been through many iterations over the years and is terrible right now. Pedicures last about 10 minutes. Services are extremely basic and hurried. My tech did not use sanitized sealed instruments, but pulled used ones out of their cart and sprayed alcohol on them. The salon is not neat. Unused stations are littered with staff's half drunk bottles, cans, and cups. Pillows and towels are worn and stained. No one really seems to care about the overall experience -- which is bad. I was beginning to heart this place. I mean the prices were decent and I visited 2 prior times consecutively with her before making this review.. I went for a fill-in at 1.5 weeks because I had recently broken two nails and lost all the rhinestones she swore would last. Thea recommended I only get a polish change and repairs "since they hadn't really grown out, to save money." I didn't understand but foolishly agreed after hearing "save" anyhow I do not want to discredit her, she took her time and is polite. However, I value craft and creativity so when I noticed her going through Ig to locate a style for me.. I then knew this would be my last visit after coaching her through the design process. Since I'm an ombré girl and asked for a hint of color this time.. She suggested 3 color "marble" in my head the whole time I'm thinking I'm only been charged for a gel polish color change as all she did was paint light pink over the original ombré, repair and design. So I went with the flow when it was time to pay the quoted amount was only $8 less than what I actually payed her a week in a half prior for fill-in and design!!! LOL What a complete waste of both our times I could have gotten my fill and repairs and been on my merry way! The simple scribble disguised as marble is a NO for me.. If I could give zero stars I would. I've never been yelled at by a representative of a business for a poor service rendered by their business. Be weary of Julie's attitude and quality of service. Went in for a French gel polish change. Two technicians (Tony and Mike) attempted and the result was uneven tips without clean finishes. Julie took over with a silent attitude and didn't fix the problem. It was disappointing to see what their standard was for a final product and what they would let a customer walk out with. Finally went for a solid color. The polish lifted hours later. I called the next day about the issue and got yelled at by Julie. Why would I want to go back after spending so much time to not get the nails I wanted, then dealing with the shit quality of the most basic service the salon provides, and facing the disgusting customer service after bringing up the issue.... read more

Second time visiting. I gave them 4 stars because I really love Sam and how he does my nails and still do. It's just Jason (the guy with all the tattoos on his left arm) is a dick. I am not rude to professionals who provide service, even when I'm not satisfied. I wish I could give him a 1. He got upset because I accidentally messed up my toe. The thing is like most salons they use tissue instead of the toe separators and my right toe kept touching the one left of it. Also, I am getting my nails done for my bday and want them to look nice. He made such a huge deal. Packed his nail case like a wuss and walked off saying he wouldn't fix it. Helen the sweet manager had to talk to him and ended up fixing it herself. I think I can officially say that I had the most painful pedicure of my life here. When I walked in, everything seemed really promising. I had a 10am appointment and was sat down right away. I immediately admired the fact that they used disposable plastic covers over their pedicure bowls. You always hear about those horror stories of people ending up in the ER because of unsanitary nail salons. This salon is super sanitary and that is a huge benefit to getting services here. The pedicure process started great. My nail technician was doing a nice job at scrubbing my feet. At some point she decided that it would be a good idea to start roughly massaging the back of my toes. I told her 2 different times that this hurt, but she still continued to go at it. I was also squirming because of how uncomfortable it was, but she didn't stop. I told her at one point that my skin is thin behind my toes and that it almost felt like some of the skin had broken between the smaller toes. She then decided to douse my toes in alcohol out of a squirt bottle, which caused a lot of burning of course. When she was massaging my calves, she was also too rough. I don't understand what was up with this lady. Did she graduate from the Atlanta Nail School of Torture ? Overall, the ending result of the pedicure was good, but it was far from relaxing. One of the reasons I get a pedicure is for the experience. I'm sure many of the other nail techs here are wonderful, but she turned me off from this place completely. I wouldn't recommend this place to any of my friends living in or visiting Atlanta. read more

I've tried this place twice now..once living across the street when I first moved and I wasn't pleased, so I went elsewhere. I decided to give them another chance once my nail tech opened her own salon and took a hiatus from doing nails, and because I now live in the building it's attached to. Once again, extremely disappointed. I waited an hour to get a pedicure. I chose a VIP pedicure (and added a paraffin wax which wasn't included) and it was the second time I've received a terrible pedicure here. The massage was non-existent and nothing about it was relaxing or felt VIP. I broke my second toe nail and their laying of acrylic and shaping was awful..I wanted to say something but I could tell no one knew what they were doing so I just decided to deal with it. Also, no one offered me anything to drink and I had to ask for water..TWICE!! Thea did my nails and she was a doll, but the shape and size was inconsistent. I left my anklets there in the cup holder and when I returned the next day (because they closed shortly after I left) they said they never found them so I'm like ok- they threw them away. Whatever. Two days after my pedicure my big toe nail chipped. I came back to the salon and the manager acted like she didn't remember me from Saturday when she started my pedicure and then had someone else finish, and I have very distinct long silver hair you don't see everyday. Again whatever. I've since been waiting an hour to fix one toe nail!!! I will never return it's just not worth it there's nothing special about this salon except maybe Thea's attitude. Environment: Very pleasant. Bright and airy. Music was good. Felt like I was in for a spa treat Staff: friendly. One in particular very knowledgeable about products. Serviced purchased: Mani (full set) pedi (signature). Mani price was $27 for full set and then $14 for color and design. Pedi was $35 I wanted a particular design. I asked was this something that can be done and they assured me yes. In the middle of the process, I was told it wasn't possible because it had to be gel polish. Gel this, gel that, which totaled an extra $17 for gel plus the $14 for designs. Not only do I not like gel polish, I'm allergic to it. So I was quite irritated that they kept trying to charge me up and point me in the gel direction. On top of it I was upset that I could not get the marble nail paint I wanted unless I got gel. Don't get me wrong, I liked the person doing my feet and nails, but the nail tech kept referencing gel quotes seemed to want to charge me for everything. I was convinced this was gonna be my new nail spot since I was in need of one, but unfortunately I will keep looking. If I come back out of desperation I will just get basic colors. I tried this place out with a friend last week. She was getting ready for prom, and I had a slew of interviews, so we decided to spring for mani pedis and Beellagio is right in my neighborhood. We both got gel manicures and the basic pedicure, and once they actually got to us, it took about 45 minutes. The good: very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and parking validation at Spire for an hour. Massage chair did wonders for my old lady back. The pedicure looked and felt nice. All utensils were removed from sterilized packages, hospital style. The bad: wait time and quality of the gel manicure. I made a reservation far in advance for 2 mani pedis at 1:30 pm. I figured lunch hour rush would be down, and since it was early on a Wednesday afternoon, there was no reason they shouldn't have been able to get to work on us right away. We were immediately seated, but our feet were in the water for over 30 minutes before they even begun. I was frustrated because they had people hopping on walk-in manicures before us. Additionally, they used the incorrect light on my friend's left hand, and had to completely redo her gel manicure. I was easily waiting an additional 30 minutes for them to finish on her. Toward the end of my appointment, I spoke to the lady seated beside me who waited 30 minutes as well and was subsequently late for her meeting because of it. My gel manicure was chipping by the next day. 3.5 Update: went back today for a gel mani/pedi--called about 10 minutes before and they had my feet in the water getting to work on me immediately. Navy and Michelle were quick, friendly, and Navy even gave me a punch card and punched for my last experience (since they did not offer then!) so I can get to the 10$ off sooner. Bless! I can tell this mani/pedi is way better quality with no smudges or chips, done in half the time. I'll be back for sure, asking for Navy and Michelle. Tip for visitors: if you can leave your tip via VENMO or cash they appreciate it more. They wind up seeing more of your tip and immediately if you do it that way. Not thrilled with my experience. They were able to see me right away, which was nice, but overshadowed by the end result. I'm unhappy with how my nails turn out. My manicure was not thorough - as you can see by my cuticles and skin flapping around. I also just needed my nails shaped with a file and he filed them down, past the attachment point of my nail to my finger! They look like nubbins now, when I usually have nice, long nail beds. I came into town on Friday, February 10, 2023. Since I didn't get a chance to go to my regular nail salon. I tried their nail shop for a gel manicure and pedicure on Saturday, February 11, 2023 before my event that night. The young lady who was doing my gel manicure cut me so deep while doing my cuticles I immediately said something. From then on it went down hill. She was clearly annoyed and bothered she had to do my nails. She kept making these facial expressions. Then she didn't know how to talk to me as she was instructing me move my hands in the nail dryer. She was rude and aggressive when speaking to me. She was very unapproachable and her energy was very negative the whole time I was there. Once she was done and I went and paid at the front desk. I told the woman working in the front desk that I was injured while my cuticles were being done. She said she didn't see anything, however did I want a bandage.
