In a "new world" with Covid, it's easy to get angry about things regarding retailers. Standing outside in 117 degree weather today was definitely not the high point although I LITERALLY ran out of Fresh Pharmacy last night so I had no other option. The team today (9/5/2020 around 4p) was incredible. Friendly, kind, and welcoming. They moved as quickly as possible and were all very nice. My 3 year old kept waving for attention and to gain new "friends" and everyone stopped to acknowledge her, an amazing employee even popped up at the end of our transaction to gift her something amazing- shower jelly. She walked away with her bath bomb and "bath slime" (shower jelly) she's OBSESSED. It's amazing how a quick gift (out of kindness) is now another product we will have to buy monthly haha genius for return on investment. She's hooked and we aim to keep her happy! Thank you guys!! First of all - I love the products. That's why I shop there. I'm sure there are more affordable options. But I have yet to discover them. The bath bombs and the face masks are what I usually shop for. Giving this location three stars because of the staff. Just wanted to share this so that they can consider my thoughts. Upon walking in, the store is crowded. That's not a bad thing. But the people who work there seem overly enthusiastic to the point where it's not authentic. They are following me while I shop. They can't take cues off my body language. Also, they compliment everything I am wearing as well as the clothing of the friends I was with. It's very insincere. It's like they are taking the training manual too seriously and reading off a script. I've been to other locations where the young ppl working there are down to earth. I know this is a new location and they are trying to find their rhythm, but the product already stands for itself. Management just needs to review the quality of their people because it's just too much that it becomes an annoyance. Hope someone from there actually reads this and revisits this. read more

Victoria Gardens is always busy (as expected) but it was worth the havoc once I got to Lush! I bought all of my last minute Christmas goodies, and the staff was incredibly helpful, particularly a younger girl (I think her name was Laura?). She was SO friendly and knowledgeable, and very personable, which is refreshing amid the chaos of the holidays, she definitely made me a customer for life. This place smells good and looks cute but it makes me very frustrated that they have the same size bag for all the different sized bath bombs and bubble bars. The bag looks all fat and crinkled and it looks messy especially when it's being given as a gift. They really need bigger bags. read more

So I was in here the other day and literally no one spoke to me, not even a simple 'hi!'. Even at the cash register, the cashier didn't say a single word to me, as she was busy talking to someone else. I just handed her the products I wanted to buy, handed her my card, and I was out of there. It was so weird and off-putting! Worse customer service. I came in here twice already and I couldn't get anyone to help. Employees are to busy talking amongst themselves and chasing a round teens. Although this is 10 min from my house, I rather drive to Los Angeles and shop there instead Rancho Cucamonga. It's such a shame since their products are awesome. read more

I visited the VG location today and was pretty disappointed. I went to the register to pay for my items and I asked If I could try a sample of the new cup of coffee mask. The cashier asked the guy working the floor and he said "We're not sampling anything today". I thought he was joking so I kind of giggled. Well, he wasn't. Really? You can't put a little bit in a tiny jar like every other place does? Not a good way to promote a new product. Also, a lot of the testers on the floor didn't smell very fresh. My daughter and I usually shop at the Brea Lush, but after today's visit, at this Victoria Gardens location, we will be coming here from now on. The customer service here is beyond exceptional. I saw every single associate engaging with customers. They were either giving some sort of advice or demo and were all super cheerful. Today, I was looking for a particular bath/shower gel, but it's seasonal. (Making a mental note to purchase either multiple bottles or the largest bottle of the seasonal scents that I like.) We love the bath bombs and bubble bars. The avocado bath bomb is my favorite and I love the Milky Bath bubble bar. The scent lingers, in my tub, for days and makes the bathroom smell so good!! I asked a gal about the henna hair color bars. They seemed interesting. I almost bought one, but am unsure which way I'm going to go with my color, so I held off. She was super sweet and very informtive. Overall, great location and excellent customer service!! read more

I've always wanted to look around and I finally did Monday night. I was helped by three employees but Skylar really stood out! She was great, super sweet and friendly! She was very informative about every product I asked about and I basically bought every product she showed us lol I had my two kids with me (age 5 & 3) and she even demonstrated a bath bomb to them they loved it! I feel like this location could work on there customer service. I was there awhile back to exchange my empty containers for a face mask. I had cleaned out all of them, except one just wasn't clean enough and the black cashier lady gave it back to me and told me to go rinse it out in the sink. I'm giving four stars because I'm just so grateful that I no longer have to drive all the way to Anaheim for my fix! I was asked if I needed help by five (!!) different employees, which I guess in theory is a great thing. Kind of annoying when you are literally there to stock up on one thing, though. But that's pretty much typical Lush, and the employees were super friendly, so I didn't mind too much. One girl was extra cool though and helped me find a new conditioner to try. The other reason why this place only gets four stars is that their bath bomb selection is SERIOUSLY lacking. I counted like six choices... they didn't even have the classics like Phoenix Rising or Twilight! I was kind of bummed, and I'm seriously hoping the selection of bath products improves, or else I'll probably just keep shopping at the Anaheim store. read more

I give this 5 stars to GENEVIEVE. I came into the store today and a couple of employees saw me come in and didn't say anything to me or greet me. Genevieve must've saw my confusion after the first couple of moments because she approached me and asked me if I needed any help which YES I DID! I told her my price range for the gift I wanted to get for my sister and she had the knowledge of everything I would be able to afford in that range. She made a visit that would have took me thirty minutes to make progress into a ten minute store visit, I really appreciate her genuine personality. She was so sweet and I am thankful that she took the initiative to make sure I didn't leave dissatisfied. I never thought I would be writing a negative review on Lush, but I was so disappointed with their customer service. I understand this is a difficult time for retailers, but rude service from an employee is unacceptable. I decided to go to Victoria Gardens for the main reason to buy products from Lush. Tbdtd was a table outside so I couldn't go in the store, even though the sign did customers could go in. The customer service was horrible. The guy at the cesk6 knows me because I'm always there purchasing something. He is usually cordial and helpful. Not this time. I attempted to greet him, and he wouldn't even say hello. He toldnethst Ifouldnt enter the store, so I attempted to purchase products. I had s mask on but not over my bird because I have breathing g problems. He made a big deal about it. I told him twice I can't put the mask over my nose because I can't breath, and get light headed. He didn't care. He started lecturing me. My husband was irritated to say the least. My husband stepped into say that I honestly couldn't breathe without mask over my nose. This employer seemed to rush me which I didn't appreciate. I only brought 2 items, when I usually buy 10. This employee was rude and not helpful. I would think Lush would want their customers to he happy with the service they receive. I don't want to go back to this location again. How sad that his emplyee was not trained enough in customer service. read more

I've been a fan of LUSH for so many years, and so you cant imagine how excited I was to find out that a location was opening up right here in Victoria Gardens! It's about time the inland empire has a lush. Now I don't have to drive all the way to Newport or Brea for my fix! Went in on the opening day to look around. This location is clean with friendly workers (not that I expected anything less from a company as great as lush). Conveniently located right on south main street next to sunglass hut. Love this store! They have so many amazing smelling bath bombs! We purchased the blue robot for my 3yo, and she loved it. She was so amazed watching it fizzle and dissolve. I also bought the oatmeal facial, haven't tried it yet but it smells amazing! :) this store was full of great, unique products for the whole family and had great customer service! Easily my favorite Lush location that I have been too. It is always super busy yet I am always helped my multiple people and get exactly what I need. Yes lush isn't the cheapest but their Products are natural and hand made plus they actually work and they have no problem returning a product your not happy with. Been to the one in Pasadena with excellent customer service. Today i was in a rush and had to go into this new one in Rancho Cucamonga, in my gym clothes, no one greeting me nor asked me if i needed help. They were so rude! So at first there was this worker with rainbow colored hair I asked for face masks in terms of finding one suitable for me. The most I got out of her was "here's some with preservatives and the ones without are sitting on ice baths" well thanks. Then I see Helena, another worker, explaining in detail the masks to another customer she sees me and asks if I need help choosing one. YES! She was so amazing if you guys decide to visit this Lush you should go in and ask for her she has such an amazing personality and is very helpful she will explain everything down the the letter for you. Every employee I have encountered here has been personable, without the awkward chatter to get a sale. 5 stars just for that. Prices are really high, so I'd knock off a star for that, by that's not the fault of this location - that's a Lush issue. Their gift packages are fantastic, and, I think, priced perfectly. They give a really nice sampling of the products, and are beautifully wrapped. I also really appreciate that they give out samples. I was given a sample of the R&B leave in conditioner that lasted me almost two weeks. It really let me experience the true quality and results of the product. I liked it so much, I did go back and purchase it. Now that's brilliant marketing. Today I was given a sample of a shampoo bar. Seems strange to use a bar for shampoo, but it will be convenient for a weekend conference I have coming up. I really like that all containers are from recycled materials (no virgins there), and no animal testing (are the end users the test subjects?? Just kidding). And if you keep your receipt and the remaining product within 30 days, dissatisfied with the product, they'll give you a refund. They don't use fragrances in these products (or preservatives), so the scents are not flowery or fruity. Some are not very good at all, to be frank. But they don't leave you stinky when you use the product. I was surprised. So I have yet to actually use the return policy. I also like that if you bring back 5 empty containers, they give you something for free, or something like that. Again, I just started using these products, so I haven't yet used this promo yet either. And, remember, since they don't have preservatives, they do have a shelf life that is shorter than your typical soaps and hair products in the stores. With the samples, the great service and help from the employees, and the ease of shopping and getting questions answered, this place gets 5 stars. It would be nice to bring the prices down a bit. read more

I LOVE LUSH i love everything about this place especially the no testing on animals it's the best place to get skincare / beauty products from i come here a lot to get different things and i love the black angles face scrub and i like the chocolate face mask and i love all the bathbombs espically the ones with sparkles in them. i also love the soap that has like rainbow colors in it it's so nice and fruity and i love it. also recomend the deodorant and the five o clock shaving cream it's really nice and smells clean! read more

I walked into Lush around 840, I just got off work and they closed at 9 so I was prepared to be rushed since Most places dread late comers right before they close (sorry ladies). Anyway, it was my first time here and I knew more or less what I wanted. To start, the staff was so helpful! They helped me find what I needed and even gave me samples of different shampoos and conditioners to try. I purchased the sacred truth face mask and R&B hair moisturizer. Great customer service! I walked into lush for the first time looking for a last minute birthday gift. The staff was very kind and helpful.

I had the best experience at lush. The products did not disappoint. I was first introduced to the Relax gift box that contained Sleepy Time. The scent and the way the product left my skin feeling soft and renewed helped me to fall into a deep sleep on the nights that I used it. However, yesterday was my first time in the store. It was filled with with various product options and the best part the store has several sink basins where a customer service representative will rinse your skin, explain the product while applying it, and will rinse it off. I had the best experience with representative Dominique. She was hands on, explained the products, the benefits of each, and shared her personal experiences with each product. She was very helpful...too helpful, because I spent more than I intended. Yet, after using the products that I purchased last night and this morning, I wasn't disappointed. read more

So pleased about a Lush location being closer to my home! I went in yesterday with my friend and we had a blast. Bianca & Michelle were kind, easy to talk to, fun, helpful, and Michelle did a demo on my skin! I was greeted when I walked in the store and all associates were "On Point" :) Both ladies also asked if we had signed up for the Grand Opening party yet, we didn't know about it and Bianca added us to the RSVP list when we checked out at the register. I love their products here and have recently gone crazy over their masks. Today i went there and they were all out of the 2 masks i wanted . driving from riverside was quite a mission, but it was okay because the guy gave me free samples of the ones they had so that i could at least try it out. My friend that was there tried the oatmeal mask on her hand and the guys helping her said to keep it on for 4 minutes. As she was waiting we noticed that the guy was clocking out, took off his apron and had his skateboard in his hand. My friend said welp, i guess i have to wash it off now. We waited for someone to come over and say anything but we got nothing. No service or help. Whaaaattt? Not like lush at all. I love being able to go to a Lush store that's less than an hour away! The aroma of the store is heavenly with all their products and bath bombs on display. Every time I walk in, I'm always greeted and asked if i need anything, and they are always there to help you and give you recommendations on their products. I would say the only downside is parking, sometimes it can be tricky to find a parking spot nearby. If you are a new customer to lush, here are a couple recommendations i personally believe are must haves : Sea Spray(It's a hair mist, great for wavy or curly hair) Aqua Marina(It's a cleanser, great for sensitive skin) Outback Mate(one of their best smelling soaps) Cup O' Coffee (Body & Face Mask) Charity Pot(Body Lotion) And any of their bath products or solid perfumes, they all smell amazing!! :) read more

There were SO many employees working, but they were way more concerned with interacting with each other than customers. Walked in and the closest employee to the door just stared at us. I asked about the Mother's Day gift sets and instead of showing them to me, she asked me a million questions about what I was looking for. Please show me the product. Please tell me about how great it is and what it's made of. Sell me your product. I've never been in a Lush that didn't have great customer service and this visit was kind of disappointing.
