I love Filipino food and have been meaning to check this place out for a while. They were one of the vendors set up at last weekend's Smorgasburg outdoor food festival. They had a shorter wait time than the other vendors, and the Lechon sisig looked delicious photos so I was excited to get to the front of the line. To my dismay, when I got there, they were out of garlic, rice, a staple in Filipino cuisine, and the best Paul. Even so I try to get the white rice and it was decent. They could have made it a little more crispy, but the flavors were there. It was a little bit overpriced in my opinion for the amount of food specifically meat that you get, but this is typical in Miami. I would definitely come back and try some other things on the menu at the actual storefront.

Super tasty filipino food at super reasonable prices! The place is small but everything about it screams family run, homestyle, comfort food. You'll find a pretty extensive menu of all sorts of classic flipino meals, from adobo and lechon and lumpia to an assortment of soups, stewed meats or fish, and even a "boodle fight" (family style communal feast) if you want to bring a large group! We've been here twice, the first time we got chicken adobo which was so simple but perfectly cooked with tender juicy chunks of chicken in a savory vinegary garlicky sauce that goes perfectly with white rice. The sisig as expected had a good savory, salty, peppery, oniony flavor that stood up to the vinegar kick that you expect from a nice sisig. The next time we came back I tried the pancit with lumpia, the pancit was a bit plain but still satisfying and the lumpia were crispy and meaty. The halo halo is made to order with generous portions of red beans, ube, jello, and all sorts of other goodies. We were a bit disappointed they didnt have chicken bbq skewer and I think were out of a number of other dishes even though it was in the middle of weekend lunch time, but I guess that just means we have to come back!

I love Lutong Pinoy Restaurant. I always go there when I crave for Filipino food. I tried almost everything and they're all good. Great food, friendly staff and great service, you will feel at home in this place.

Stopped by for the Halo Halo since I had a dessert craving and wanted something more unique than just plain ice cream or cookies. Tasted very home style, like your grandma whipped it up in her kitchen. Can't say no to that! Next time I stop by, I'm definitely going to try the savory food.

TLDR: Homemade Filipino food! Bbq Silog: their bbq marinade is in the sweet side. This silog comes with two eggs as well. Sisig silog: let some of the rice/pork stick a little for some crispy bits ;) Milkfish: definitely my favorite thing. Fried SO well that I was eating all the bones too. Super easy to eat if you're not used to eating whole fish too as the meat comes right up. Service: super sweet and fast. Ambiance: just a little hole in the wall for a casual meal. Misc: plenty of parking outside!

Larry S. and I had some errands to run in the area, so we picked out a few possible spots for lunch. I was most intrigued by this place as neither of us has ever eaten Filipino cuisine before. First of all, the strip mall that it's located in could just be food hall. I mean, there are a few non food-related storefronts, but it's mostly hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Latin American, burgers, shwarma, Vietnamese, Filipino, Italian. One of the best parts about living in the USA is the wealth of other country's cuisines being so readily available. And embarrassment of culinary riches! OK, on to the food. There was one effusively friendly woman behind the counter, and she also was preparing food items, so we had plenty of time to browse the menu. Larry had checked out the menu online ahead of time and was eyeing the "Fiesta Plate". He asked the woman a bunch of questions about a few other items and upon her recommendation went with the Fiesta. He picked BBQ pork as the meat. Other options were adobo pork or chicken, or fried chicken. After much mental dithering, I picked the Kalabasa - green beans and pumpkin in coconut milk with a side of white rice (note that on the website it states it contains pork, but in the restaurant it does not, and you can also order garlic rice or brown rice). The food was ready fairly quickly and it looked absolutely fabulous! The Fiesta plate came with two skewers of pork, two spring rolls, a noodle salad, rice and shrimp crackers. I sampled a shrimp cracker and some of the noodles... delicious! The kalabasa was heaven! The pumpkin chunks were savory and al dente and the green beans provided a nice crunch. The coconut milk sauce was rich and satisfying. I took home about half of the meal to savor later. A few things keeping it from being 5-stars. It's not fine dining at all! The interior is tiny and quite warm (and coming from me, that's saying a lot as I am part reptile and can find a way to be cold inside of a sauna!). Both Larry and I found hairs in our food... NBD for me as I will eat off the floor in my not particularly clean home, and when I find something interesting lurking in the back of my fridge, I will cut the mold away and eat it anyway, but YMMV. Larry also thought the pork was extremely fatty and would order a different meat to bring to the Fiesta next time. And speaking of next time... we cannot wait to return to try the Halo Halo dessert. We were too full this time, but it will be ordered on a return visit!

Flavorful food, step above south Jersey and Philly area Philippines food. Small inside with several tables. Was not busy when we were there around 150pm. Friendly wait staff. I'd go here again when in the area, took a 40 min drive from Miami Beach to get here, was worth it.

Really enjoy Filipino food and this is my go-to take-out spot for it. This location is small with a handful of dine-in tables. Parking is almost non-existent in this small yet busy plaza. Some cars park on the grassy sidewalk or in the shopping plaza across street. I've gotten lucky and found a parking spot each time. A MUST ORDER: Pork Lumpia Lechon Kawali Also super delish: Special Fried Rice Pork Sisig Bistek Haven't visited yet but they have another location in Pembroke Pines.

Craving filipino comfort food today, came in with my daughter. Super friendly service, and very satisfying rice dishes! My girl told me "the bbq sticks are always good here!"

Amazing! Amazing! I wish I got to try more things from here!! Chicken lumpia is crispy and juicy! Sisig was the best! The place is pretty quiet and parking lot is small but I believe they have additional parking somewhere else. But I would recommend this tiny place.

This is a small but cozy restaurant located in a strip mall in North Miami Beach. It has a small Filipino groceries section. I am obsessed with their tinolang manok soup. I have had it both at their restaurant and delivered via Uber Eats. No matter where you eat it, the portion they give you is huge. It's full of big pieces of chicken, spinach, green papaya, and ginger. It's perfect for when you're feeling under the weather.

I visit a ramen shop quite frequently. So frequently in fact that some of the staff know me and I know them. Well, Jade, a Filipino waitress from said ramen shop, and I, spoke about Filipino food one day and this restaurant popped up in conversation. Prior to this outing, I had never tried Filipino food. I had, however, heard of this restaurant, so it was only a matter of time until I visited, especially considering I had had heard good things. Well, we went randomly for dinner one night and it was a wise decision. Going in, you realize that this restaurant is small. I mean, yes, they have ample parking, but their lot seems constricted somehow. The restaurant itself is a take-out counter (and believe me, we saw plenty of take-out orders leaving) and maybe five or six tables. We weren't sure how this place worked, but apparently it's table service, so seat yourself and wait to be attended. The lady we had was genuine Filipino and quite nice, making recommendations. We needed up sharing an order of dumplings, as our original choice of adobo spring rolls were done for the day. They had turkey ones, but meh, we aren't turkey fans. Both of us ordered the pork sisig and both of us asked for extra spice. Have to say that whenever I see Jade I'll tell her she was right about suggesting this dish to me. It was so flavorful. It was also quite heavy and one meal made three meals for me. What can I say? I enjoy meat, but I can only eat so much of it. I will happily return. My only thing is I need to get a salad or some vegetables next time. I felt this was a carnivore's dream, but admittedly I'm pretty close to being a herbivore. Oops!

I wish I would have been able to review this place sooner. This review is from December 2019. Me and my girlpren were visitin my mom and wanted to show her some pilipino food. I was very excited to find this place so close to her house! This place is the closest you will get in this area to traditional cuisine! We had made reservations so we could make sure there was a place to sit, the place is a little small and we wanted to enjoy the food there. We ordered the lumpia, Pancit, sinagan, some wings, shrimp, and adobo. It was all bery good :) Also try the halo halo it's amazing if you love sweet dessert. They also do a traditional kamayan meal, it's great for any celebration! All the Tito's and kuyas were very friendly here. It was a very welcoming place. My pilipino girlpren approves of this place, support local food!

And I feel like I have to say this: some of these reviews are clearly linked to exposure. The pho here was FINE. Solid 3. The service? Not good at all. The woman who cooks/runs this place was all over the place. There was nothing kind, grateful, or warm about her as she took orders and prepared food. Her husband was nice but the lack of attentive service from her was not cool. She was very tuned in to the other couple dining but I called her several times (in that tiny space) and she seemed to not hear me. I also have to say that the size of their homemade teas is super generous. However, while I was there, two tables, including mine, were served Thai Iced Teas with sour milk. When I finally got the owner's attention, she frowned when I told her and said, "I just served that." And then went to the other table to double-check as if my words wouldn't quite do it. lol The other table confirmed it was sour. The owner took the cups, no apology or nothing, and asked us if we wanted it remade. I asked for a coke instead. A bottle was $5... five whole dollars. Egg rolls: okay. Def a bit bland.. Served with some weird ketchupy sweet/sour sauce. I asked for fish sauce, which was good. Paid about $36 for pho, egg rolls, and a drink. If this is your only pho option in the area, go for it, but i was not impressed especially once my stomach processed the sour milk.
