I handed him the key and I went back into my apartment to work on other tasks. It took about 4 hour to do both the interior and exterior. He explained how he couldn't really fix the scratches because the thin coating on my paint was too thin. I understood because I personally haven't taken the time to take care of my car all these years. He was able to apply wax though. The car looked so shiny and clean. The interior really felt close to being brand new! We didn't have plans to go out that day but we couldn't resist the urge to go out in our "brand new" car and drove to Old City. This is highly recommended as you want to protect your major investment, especially the model S and X, as they come from the California plant, which has a different regulated paint specifications! Like many people, I wanted to find a place closest to the dealership, so that there would be no paint chips on the way there. He was AWESOME from the very first conversation through the entire process! His prices were reasonable and his experience was invaluable. When the workers came to detail my car and pickup, I inquired about steam cleaning the seats. The…read moreindividual stated it would be $100. for the two. I agreed. I was subsequently billed $130. and only the car pickup was steam cleaned. Later and after they had left I noticed that they did a great job on the weatherTec floor mat but the grooved foot pedals were caked with dirt and the panel beneath the steering wheel was dirty (both of which I was able to easily clean up myself. I sent a text to who I assumed is the owner (John) about the foot pedals and another text asking for money back on the steam cleaning. No response. Make sure you get everything in writing before they start and double check the work.
