I've been coming here for so many years, my friends used to come here because of me but they disliked the retention and experience. I too am done with this location. The cuticles are not cut they use a nail drill to get it off and break off/dry out your cuticles. I didn't know this was not normal until my new salon that does my pedicures in Long Beach told me. My last experience was the cherry on top, I asked her to fix my middle nail as pictured in the third photo. Instead of taking it off she cut it the opposite way with a nail clipper but now it looks uneven. The towel she put under my hand was reused, she pulled it from her white cart and there was gel builder on it and some kind of glitter. I pictured my nails after 6 days... you can see the sloppy application and gel going beyond the nail. Everything is about saving time and for a nail salon claiming to also be a spa there is a lack of care and attention to detail across the whole board. The QR code doesn't even work in the front desk on the table you have to enter the name. Just feels very sloppy overall. This place has really gone downhill since it opened and I've been going since it was opened! I used to go to the other location in paramount. Will be going else where moving forward read more

I used to love coming here but now I noticed their gel x application is very messy now, for example the sidewalls of the nail are not filed to fit the shape of the natural nail and there is tons of glue underneath the tips. 2 of the nails also broke within less than 1 week. Update it's just been a day and my nail polish has come off not happy about this at all. My first time coming here was a lot better then my second experience. Although I was happy with my nails, I did feel the customer service didn't meet my expectations when waiting on Ivy for my nail dip. Not sure if the staff forgot I was waiting after my pedicure but that was the only mishap while being service. I do love how clean the nail salon is, so I'll definitely be back here again. Worst nail salon EVER. Don't be fooled by how nice it looks on the inside. All the manicure seats are cramped together. And their gel extensions are an expensive practical joke. The gel extensions they use are so cheap and flimsy, I'm pretty sure you can buy them at a Dollar Tree. They pop off over doing the simplest tasks, this happened only THREE DAYS after I got these done, and the rest of the nails followed suit, one even split in half and all I did was scratch my leg. The bridal party chose to go this nail salon. The wait time after I signed in was super respectable! I had really long nails so I expected there to be some annoyance with refilling my set. To my surprise Kate was the tech who was assigned to me, it was a match made in heaven. I showed her a instagram design and she ran it past the manager who tried to convince me that to try another color design. I told Kate never mind that I will just stick with a plain color and she smiled and said OK ! She was meticulous in checking length and making sure everything looked good, her attention to detail was great! Halfway through my refill. She said we're going to try that design and she did it.she surpassed the original design. She also was so amazing and checked in with me along the way! I love my set and literally wished I lived here! The salon was so beautiful and clean !!! I feel like the price point is MORE than fair for the quality of products and work!! My wife and daughters like this nail salon and their favorite technician Ben but unfortunately there is a lot of favoritism and lack of coordination here that always causes 1-2hr delays. If you don't mind waiting around for hours and hoping you are seen next then avoid this place! They need to get it together. I wasn't going to do a review, simply because I get too irritated thinking of my experiences here and I don't usually find the time to but here I am a month and a half later with jacked up toe nails and feeling more compelled to make time as the days go on. I get mad every time I look down, I just can't let it go. So I came in for a full set and pedicure with acrylic powder to square out my chipped big toes in mid September. I came in a day before I was headed out to leave town for a month and a half and the very same day, well after leaving my service, my toes began to bubble and peel (as shown in the photos attached. The photos taken are literally the very next day, after I'd left town. While having my service done the woman nicked me a couple times causing me to bleed a little at the side of my toe nail, which isn't completely unusual (so no big deal right, dealt with it). But then, while drilling on my big toe, she drills into my skin somehow (which is the red cut pictured at the front of my right big toe) and I begin to bleed, A LOT. I didn't flinch, wince, or make any sound to indicate that I'd felt any pain or noticed my toe gushing blood, but I'm sitting there watching the woman as she proceeds to work past it. She then asks me what color I wanted, to which I politely replied, concerned and still staring at the blood oozing from my toe "can you do something about that right there first" (pointing at the blood). The woman looks at my toe then back at me acting as though she didn't see blood pooling and says "about what". So naturally, I frustratedly respond while leaning in further and pointing again "about the blood that's leaking from my toe, right there". She then grabs some alcohol, washes over the wound, and applies some pressure to stop the blood. After getting it to stop I pick my polish and she finishes the service, and a day later my polish comes off completely and the entire tip of my big toe nail broke clean off. The full set wasn't bad but the acrylic was a little thick and didn't make up for my pedicure. I want to speak to how upsetting it is that she would risk infection or even just continue to work past the mistake as though I didn't or wouldn't notice. The lack of accountability is concerning. I'm very easy going and polite any time I come into this establishment and have been a loyal customer for years, even before they moved to bellflower and were still operating out of nails and lashes by Ashley; yet for some reason I frequently if not always have issues when I come, whether it's the quality of service, someone's piss poor attitude, or simply feeling like my business just isn't wanted. The work is hit or miss, and sometimes you may not even make it to the next day without finding an error with the final product. And in many cases if you catch it while still in progress, some of the employees act as though you're not paying for a service and don't deserve to receive a good quality of service or specifically what you request and pay for. I've started to dread coming here, and truthfully I haven't been back since then. Many of the employees have awful attitudes and auras, and act as though they don't want to work for the money they charge. I truly wish it wasn't this way, especially on a consistent basis, because I genuinely used to love coming here. The vibe and energy used to be better when they first opened but now I can't say that I'll be back at all. Definitely not when they have all that going, on top of THIS being the result a day later! Came in after my sister shared her positive experience with a pedicure tec named Tiffany. Walking in, I was blown away- the asethics and decor is absolutely stunning. Clean, appears organized and well appointed for, very spacious and all things luxury. I explained my concerns and wants to the greeter- and she seemed to understand and also gave me some suggestions. Tiffany wasn't available but she shared "Mendy" was just as good. I agreed but requested Brian for my full set. Long story short, her recommendation WAS NOT APPRECIATED. Mendy does not speak english, nor does she appear to care to understand. When explaining what I wanted, the greeter had to come to the chair EVERYTIME to explain for the both of us. Some guy starts my nails at the chair- when I confirmed was he Brian like I requested, the greeter came back to tell me others had been waiting for Brian before me and HE was NO LONGER taking any more guest for the night. Mendy did not understand how I like my shape, what color I wanted, or that I needed her to clip the length down more.As a result, I left with uneven toe nails. I was so disappointed and frustrated, I didnt even want her to polish them. Shy of 2 hours, spending $45 on a half conpleted pedicure and semi-shaped fingernails. Got gel mani and pedi last Tuesday. Asked for simple black stripes on orange nail and the rest all black. My toe nails were long and I asked to be cut only a little bit because the ladies who do them, always cut too much! And still left with super short toe nails. Gel polish came out good on toes. But my manicurist said it's too thick or it's no good so it comes out lumpy/uneven. I went back Wednesday already to get two nails fixed. And then again Friday because another just peeled off entirely without me even doing anything to it. And now again yesterday, one of the nails they fixed is cracking. Not sure if manicurist knows how to do gel. She said there was many complaints on the black gel but my Toe nails polish came out fine and even besides being too short. I think she doesn't know what she was doing. I couldn't even have my nails for a week without them getting peeling/cracking.
