ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE !! If I could give it 0 stars I would! Went in for a full set coffin nails and left with a disaster and infection!!! This has NEVER happened to me and I've been getting acrylics since high school... I was "serviced" by a bald man with glasses (didn't get his name) who had no idea what he was doing! Starting from the shape, the amount of times he cut me AND the terrible paint job he did when he could have just simply told me he didn't know how to do the design... the pictures and video from the day of completely speak for itself. 3 days later and I had to cut and soak them off myself because of the pain and horrible bubbles I started getting around my fingers. I'm never one to complain or even do these kinds of reviews but after this experience I felt I HAD to share :(( read more

I went to this salon after I complained to a friend of mines about the full set I got at a different salon in Lakewood. She recommended Kathy. I recommend her and Michael(male). Just left this nails shop and I am so satisfied with my nails. Don did my hands while Andy did my feet. Andy did an okay job, not what I'm used to but I will not complain because his massage was fantastic. However Don was exceptional...I'm very particular about my hands and Don was very particular about his work so I did not have to say anything regarding correction, I am very pleased. I've been coming here for years.. You will be waiting if you DO or DON'T book an appointment.. I always book my appointments and this particular time I came about 30 minutes earlier they told me my appointment was at 4:30, I proceeded to go back to my car; I returned back to the shop at 4:15 as JULIE is doing a pedicure knowing I had an appointment at 4:30. I was told to sit in #6 to let her know I'm here which I did. Lo and behold JULIE was talking shit about me in her language and how I know because the other lady turned around to look at me.. WOW, JULIE THAT WAS EXTREMELY HURTFUL WHEN ALL I DO IS COME ON TIME AND TIP WELL TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT.. So yes I did wait until 3:45pm and not once did JULIE look back and acknowledge me..I then called back to let Kathy know they have the worst customer service and they lack communication with their customers, she tried to say she's finish girl bye 15 minutes later.. I'm not begging you or JULIE to take my money.. I will politely give my money to a shop who cares about their customers.. With that being said you will never catch me at LA Nails again.. read more

Honestly, I'm really disappointed. I got my first full set for prom and I was really excited. However, both the man who did my nails and the woman who gave me a pedicure did mediocre. I wanted short coffin acrylics and my technician said that he couldn't make them coffin with the length I asked for. (He totally could've and I asked more than once so I could get what I wanted but he still refused.) They were crooked and I had to CONVINCE myself that they were okay. I paid 40 bucks for them which is average (I guess?) and for my first set I thought, "Hey, you live and learn." N O. Plus, the lady who did my pedicure cut my toe so badly that I bled for the following two days. Definitely a hard no from me... my nails are damaged, which I expected but one of my nails is worse than others because he over filed. Used to come here for Fills with Gel and Pedicure. The only good thing is that they have a lot of workers so there is low wait time. Fills are ok but you have to tell them exactly how u want them shape length and thickness. If you bring ur own polish (gel) be prepared to still pay the additional $10. Other places only charge you for the clear (2-3$) they don't put base unless u ask for it. Pedicure is ok they always want to show you the nail they took out from the side of the nail, which I'm always thinking ok that's what I'm paying you for. They use the same pumice stone and tools on everyone. They clean them in the dirty water as they drain it. Kathy did my eyebrows one time, I asked for threading, she started our maybe passing two times over my eyebrows and then went to her way of doing eyebrows with a razor. Kathy is the owner and she's usually very reasonable but she been money hungry and I have noticed a lot of unhappy customers. I will not come here again!!! read more

I called to make an appointment two hours prior, they gave me an appointment for 1 pm. I get there and there are 3 people ahead of me waiting for their manicure. My nails are short bitten and I asked on the phone if they would work with that they said yes. They took me to a table within 10 mins and turns out my nails are too short for them to work with so I have to wait for a man who does them there. He's barely starting on a girl, I wait there for an hour and he's done with her nails, then at 2:30 he takes a woman who got there AFTER ME. I was there for nearly 2 hours and they prioritized other people when they specifically told me to go in at 1 pm. If it's that busy then please give me a later appointment, I don't appreciate having to wait in there for nearly two hours, it's also really hot in there. I stormed out when i was there for two hours, I don't know how they do nails, but the customer service wasn't good. I also didn't understand what they woman was saying, (not to be rude) but it was my first time doing my nails and she didn't explain things good. If I could give 0 star I would. read more

So I've been coming here with my friend for about a year now. I initially came in for their gel nails and I was very much satisfied with Tina. She told me she'd be going on vacation for the Christmas holidays but she would be back. Come January I find out that she is pregnant and won't be coming back for a while. So I settle for Lily. She did her job hastily and sloppy. I told myself I wouldn't get her again. The next few times I came, it was like she was trying to get me. I'm told that I have not one b****bone in me so I sucked it up. She always tried to small talk and be nice but all I cared about was the outcome of my nails. She always got distracted by her phone, she would take breaks, talk to her coworkers, observe other coworkers work, then come back to me. She wouldn't pay attention to what she was doing. I got left with uneven nails, parts of nails that she cut that shouldn't have been, cuticles that weren't removed, sloppy paint job, and a very unsatisfied customer. Just today I came in with my boyfriends cousin. I was terrified that Lily was going to get me, but my cousin unfortunately got her. My cousins nails came out un-manicured, cuticles still intact and a sloppy paint job. We both got the deluxe spa pedicure, but Lily tried to hustle my cousin into adding on paraffin or foot mask for an additional $5. We politely said no, but she persisted that it was good for her and it would feel good. Again we said no, then she started talking in vietnamese to her coworkers, as if we didn't know they were talking about us. She pointed at me and then at her and continued to talk smack. On top of that, my nail job by Andy came out ok. He took his time to manicure, get my ingrowns, massage my legs, and applied my nail polish well. Unfortunately, now that I look at it, there are many air bubbles, which drive me nuts. Any small imperfection will drive me up the wall and bug me until I fix it. Since I already left I had to deal with it. I always like for my technician to dig deep to get my ingrowns so I feel like my cuticles have been cleaned. Now on top of that my big toe is swollen up and pussing out. I fear infection from unsterilized utensils. I never had this problem before so I never really observed if they sterilized their utensils. My swollen big toe cries out and is so very painful. They DON'T have customer's service, their service depends on if they FEEL like doing a good job, and the wait is RIDICULOUS!
