Pushy and rude. Basic pedicure is $25 for a cut, trim, cleaning, and only 2 minutes of massage. They upsell hard, $6 for a scrub or callus remover (not both), $35 for both with barely any an extra minute massage time. Gel add-on is $12, $5 to remove gel no matter where you got it, plus they hide the card machine and push cash/ATM with extra fees. I have came to this location maybe a handful of times. I only come for a gel pedicure. I have had no issues with until Thursday February 1st. I came in for the same service. I have noticed that my big toes was hurting the next day. I did not think anything of it, I thought it was because I went an extra week without a pedicure. Then I actually paid attention to it Saturday February 3rd. I noticed my skin red and when I squeezed it puss came out. I am not sure what happened so now my big toe is infected. read more

I went there today and was at this location for over 2 hours. Granted I can be considered a regular since I come in once a month. Today was awful. I've gotten my nails done for years at different places and this was just the worst I've ever received. Not sure if the girl was new, but I won't be returning. I'm truly disappointed. To start, I loved that as you walk in they immediately ask you to wash your hands and then they clean the chairs before you get in them! It was also decently priced for a gel mani and pedi. Been going to this nail shop for nearly 10 yrs, Once the pandemic hit their service changed dramatically! They use to be so nice, once I questioned the owner about a dramatic price changed her energy thereafter was NASTY to say the less!! She stop speaking etc! No biggie! Thanksgiving a day before I get my feet done, the charge $43 for this service it was close to closing and I personally didn't like the color, I always feel uncomfortable saying anything because of the energy so I just said nothing. Welp I just hated them I thought they were closed Thanksgiving so I came first thing Friday morning, the owner who's suddenly so rude now said that I should of said something that day and it's $17 for a color change , we went back and forth a little I then agreed just to pay, she then said how about I just give you $12 the lady who did your nails isn't here. I said no it's okay I'll just pay to get it changed she said no I'll just give you $12! I said okay took the $12 and left. Now in January I came back it's winter haven't been having my feet as much so I gave them a break. When I came in I sat down. Now body said anything to me, waited about 10 minutes and a woman I never seen ask me "what did I need done" I said can I get a manicure and pedicure? She said oh no we can't service you, I'm like wait what, the owner who's at the pedicure booth is looking away as if they didn't just speak in their language. To sum it up I literally acted a fool in that place! Not because they're just so great at what they do but because the audacity of you to sit and hold a grudge at me over asking about pricing. Furthermore you could have refused service when you gave me the $12 dollars back instead of acting like you were coming up with a solution. Looks clean and is normally pretty full basically... there is always a wait because and it's not because they are so good it's because they don't organize time with their clients. THIS business does not accept appointments, so there is no way to manage traffic. You have to plan your day accordingly, which means there is no guarantee you will be finished by a certain time. I went in at 9 in the morning so I could get the best service because the nail art i wanted was not the easiest and I didn't want to go when they were busy. I will attach the photo of the nails I wanted with the results I got. I asked them to be sincere with me if they could do what I asked and they talked among themselves and said yes. While they worked on my pedi they also did my mani and the girl restarted the design four times one finger. The manager I believe got upset with her and changed nail tech on me. The second person to work on my nails didn't even tried and just did what she could and said it was time for me to pay. Not even one hour later the rhinestones fell off and three hours later the gel started peeling off of my right thumb. Never going again. A co-worker recommended this place so I gave them a shot. It's only 9:30am and the place was packed...are they THAT good?? Jennifer did my fill and she was such sweetheart. At one point, I changed my mind about the gel color I originally chose and she was so patient with me and helped me find the color I wanted. She did an amazing job, filed my nails precisely to match both hands. If this place wasn't so far from home, I'd definitely become a regular. So why am I giving them only 4 stars? Disheartened to see all the negative reviews here because I've been coming here for three years straight and they do NOT disappoint! I am extremely picky and have not had any problems with asking for corrections or changing my mind on services (Always make sure you speak up!) The pedicures are always solid and they always do a very detailed job on them. Maybe not the strongest salon for some of the extravagant designs but it helps to bring reference pictures and be clear on your requests. My nail girl is Katie, she does a great job, my nails last four weeks & do NOT lift. Holly does an exceptional job as well. I usually see her if Katie isn't in. I've gone to several of the shops here around Bellflower, some of the more ritzy looking ones and they do a BAD job, specifically the shops that offer dip nails (beware, they SUCK) and the prices are ridiculous for mid work. This place operated during covid and ignored precautions. It was remodeled and of course prices have increased. But the nail quality/pedicure/manicure/ gel polish has dropped significantly. Nails have come off within one week and gel nail polish chips very fast (due to the stretching of adding acetone). Long story short, I had to find a new place and it was the best decision. I've been coming to this salon for the last 2 years. I travel quite a bit for work so do get my nails done at other salons in other states and cites, but have always enjoyed my experiences at Pros Nails - until last week. They don't take appointments which is disappointing, but something we all endure in order to get our nails done by our favorite lady. I went in for a full set on a Monday. By Wednesday, 3 nails on my left hand had lifted badly and popped off. I was unable to go in right away because of work. Went for a repair on the following Monday at 930 and they were already quite busy after only opening at 9am - speaks VOLUMES of how popular they are. I waited for my usual lady at 930 and then decided to just get a fill and a polish change on my toes. Not only was I charged for the fill, as I should have been BUT SHE CHARGED ME FOR THE 3 NAIL REPAIR!! After only a week after getting a BRAND NEW FULL SET. In a rush to get to work, I did not realize that until I was already driving. That was Monday. By Wednesday again 3 nails popped off. I was PISSED. Went in at 9am. My lady was not in so I went to another person. She preps my hands and then says $5.00 for my repair. $5 is not the issue... the issue is that I had already paid for a full set then a fill all literally in the last 2 weeks. Another woman came over and told me if I wanted to wait for my lady then maybe she wouldn't charge me, but she didn't know when she would be in. After trying to stay calm in the full salon, I finally had enough when she told me that it was my fault my nails popped off because I did not take care of my nails and that because the full set was more than 10 days old, they were not responsible. I'd never heard of such a thing! Needless to say, I raised my voice and said that I would never be back. I've been to this Nail Salon about three times now. Here is what i have experienced thus far: I was seen by Ashley two times. She does great work. She is a little rough sometimes because she has nipped me once or twice with the machine that buffs yur nails. However, her nail game is strong. This third time i was seen by Jenny. I was on yelp looking for pics of nails and she had all the great reviews of her designs. Jenny is very detailed with her work. She is also very clean and precise with her nail designs. This shop is super busy and does NOT take appts and is "Cash Only." There is an ATM. But bring cash. Also clear your schedule because they are busy.
